“Bought our first Cake yesterday from Casey Renee for my Mom’s wedding and now I’ll never buy another cake from anyone else. Casey is the sweetest and she is so talented. Everyone was asking where the cake was from, as it was beautiful and delicious! Thank you Casey Renee!! We’ll be repeat customers for sure!“
“*Come here for the BEST vegan cinnamon rolls EVER* While in Pittsburgh for vacation, we learned about this all vegan bakery! WOW! So glad we stopped in for a morning treat! Beautiful store front with the sweetest ladies- we were welcomed by soooo many (all vegan!) goodies! We got a massive choco chip cookie & cinnamon roll to go! The cookie was massive, still hot from the morning baking, melty, doughy & delicious! The cinnamon roll was legit the BEST I’ve ever had! Mind blown! First off, it was huge. It was super doughy in the inside but perfect flake on the outside. Loaded with melted frosting, cinnamon - it was perfect. I have had a LOT of vegan baked goods in my life time but this place knows what’s up! Vegan or not- come here for the best massive cinnamon rolls of your life.“
“This is honestly my favorite place! I get my hair done down the street and I always come here for the caramel latte ☺️. It's a ritual at this point. The pastries are amazing ?. Great service always, like I said I love this place ❤️“
“The family-owned atmosphere adds a charming touch to the experience. Open only on Fridays and Saturdays, but trust me, it's worth the wait. The aroma of freshly baked goods is irresistible, and each pastry is a taste of perfection. A hidden gem that deserves a visit – your taste buds will thank you! ???“
“A hidden gem in Morningside!! The owner is a really sweet woman who puts her whole heart into the delicious food and drinks that she makes. Ka-fair is a full service coffee shop with tasty lattes, matcha, smoothies, pastries and breakfast foods. Try the egg toast and the seasonal strawberry matcha when you’re here!“
“Delicious - hands down the best French bakery I've been to in the US and I would say the Tarte aux framboises was best ever / anywhere. The crust was impeccable and the right amount of everything. We bought several things to try and enjoyed it all!“
“Oh, Nancy B’s Bakery! In Pittsburgh’s fair domain, thy chocolate chip treasures reign supreme! Soft, gooey delights, unmatched by New York’s offerings. A confectionery haven, where each bite ignites the soul with bliss. From afar, I hail thee, for naught compares to thy divine creations!“
“This place is incredible, from the moment you step through the door to the aroma of cookie doe and mix then to the cookies, pies or cakes they have on display for the days selection to the helpful and pleasant staff. This was my first time in a Crumble and I was throughly impressed. Reasonably priced and huge cookies! They are soft just how I like them, throw them in the microwave or heat them in the oven and you have what I call the appetite!10/10 would recommend“
“I love this place. The first time I went, I was specifically craving Madeleines and couldn't make them cause I didn't have the pan. And searched the web for it and found this cute Lil place.Chefs kiss ?? the atmosphere first of is so relaxing, a cute café spot. The service was better!!! I bought my Madeleines and a couple of other treats, and at the time, it was almost closing time, and the nice lady gave me a bit extra. How precious. I went back again, randomly this time. Well, I was craving sweets and was in the area, and this time it was closing time a the gentleman gave extra of Madeleines again. It's always so sweet this place. ❣️❣️Parking: There's a spot far parking, but it's up to chance.. it holds about 5-7 cars.Kid-friendliness: Outside cafés area, open space for kids to run around.“
“We're visiting Pittsburgh and stumbled upon Georgie's during a walk. We came back today for breakfast and it was wonderful. The servers are very friendly. One went above and beyond by moving an additional outdoor heater closer to our table so we could each have one. They're very thoughtful and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend giving Georgie's a visit if you're in town.“
“Everything there is rediculously delicious! : ) My favorites are the napoleons; however, you gotta get there early because they often sell out! ? Their eclairs are great too. I also love raspberry flavored stuff and they have great raspberry cake and cookies. Even something basic like chocolate chip cookies ? are delicious! Never disappoints ?? Hands down best bakery in Pittsburgh ?☺️“
“Such a wonderful little piece or France tucked into Pittsburgh! I went in to order macarons and ended up walking out with the delightful little desserts, as well as several warm, freshly baked baguettes. The environment was welcoming and cozy and the girl who helped me couldn't have been sweeter! If you've got a taste for authentic French baked goods, I can't recommend this place highly enough!“
“This place is amazing, the pizza is so awesome, the baked goods are so good, they have these cherry and cheese Danish type pastry, they have a specific name i forget, but WOW they are amazing, there is cherry, apricot and a few others and I'm sure they are all as good as the cherry....The staff is always awesome too ?“
“The cupcakes, snickerdoodles and chocolate chip cookies were good. The icing was more whipped than I'd like. It's a quaint shop; stocked well with so many choices; including gluten free items. Parking can be a little tricky, if an event is going on next door.“
“Five Points has been my go to weekend treat spot for years. I really cannot recommend this place enough! Things I love: - their chocolate croissant is my #1. Recommend it highly! Perfect every time. Dunk that thing in a cup of coffee to make it even better! - the seasonal danishes are so fun! My faves are pumpkin and rhubarb. - their indoor seating is open now! Cozy with a decent amount of seating, I've never had an issue finding a place to sit either in the back or along the "bar". They have two big bathrooms which is really great too! - service is quick! - so many options, but they always have the favorites available which I love. - I've never ever been disappointed by something I eaten here. It's really all that good. Things I don't like: - literally nothing I can think of. I think the prices are totally worth it for the high quality food you're getting. The food and drink are consistently delicious. The staff is friendly and fast. Things to note: - there is almost always a line out the door on a weekend morning. Don't let this deter you! Let it draw you in! It's worth the wait and the line moves fast. - they have sandwiches on Saturdays until they run out. If you're looking for a sammie don't go too late in the day lest they run out!“
“First time actually going inside and I was impressed. Their menu is way bigger in person. Newer things advertised right in front of ya! Ladies were nice. Roll was amazing. I do wish they had more drinks and selections of those. They should make some fruit refreshers I would be flattered? Love you guys always. Thanks!“
“Had an issue with a recent order, they rectified it immediately and even said to keep the item they sent. I’ve been using them a while and will continue to do so. I didn’t even want to keep it because I felt bad, but I really appreciate it! Thank you Emily! 100% my favorite bakery supply company“
“Visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend and had the pain au chocolat which reminded me of the croissant I had when I visited France, definitely delicious!! The sweet smelling aroma of newly baked pastries greeted us as my group walked in. The workers were all friendly and courteous, ready to assist or explain any inquiries.“
“I was in the area for something else and noticed Vibo's. I went on a Sunday morning, so they didn't have any hot food. I got some pepperoni bread and fried dough with sugar; both were excellent and I would highly recommend. As good as the breads were, the service was even better! I live on the other side of the city, but will be back to try some of their sandwiches at some point!“
“Just found out that they have closed down. I have been buying their bread, rolls, and buns for a long time from my local Shop n Save. Their prices were much better than their competitors. Very good quality with no preservatives.I miss them...“
“My neighbor just bought a box of donuts to me and my wife and let me say THESE ARE THE BEST DONUTS IN PITTSBURGH AND SURROUNDING AREAS!! It's the right consistency with the icing on each donuts and MAAAAAN I was HOOKED from the first bite!! It's gonna be a BIG BACK SUMMER for me!! “
“I’ve ordered two birthday cakes and a custom two-tier cake for our son’s baptism from Bella Christie’s Sweet boutique. All were incredibly delicious and beautifully decorated. This is my top choice bakery for special occasions. I live in the South hills but come here for cakes.“
“A friend had taken me here a couple week ls ago and I had one of the best dinner experiences I have in Pittsburgh. I love dinner and everywhere I go for travel I try a dinner. This is one on the best ones I’ve tried. Great service and the food was delicious with a reasonable price. My buddy had the breakfast pierogies with kielbasa. It looked amazing and if I go back, I’m trying those. I ended up getting the Brother Tom’s breakfast plate. And when I received this French toast, I was absolutely amazed! Bread was made in house, and it was nice fluffy and flavorful. Hands down the best French toast I had a very long time.“
“The sweet scents immediately hit you upon entry. The lemon cello cookies are to die for! I am so glad that I ordered a dozen of them. Even though they are known for their biscotti's I did not order any this time. But I certainly will on my next visit there.“
“We loved everything we got here! My husband, who doesn’t like macarons, really enjoyed the macarons. We also got the raspberry tart and Paris-Pittsburgh and thoroughly enjoyed both. The Paris-Pittsburgh just melts in your mouth. Both have a delightful flavor :) we will definitely be bringing our friends and family here when they come to visit!“
“I Love Triangle Bar & GrillDestroyer Meatball Subs!I Call Ahead For Two. The Meatballs, Bread,Cheese And Sauce Never Disappoint!Their Sides Greatly Compliment The Sammiches. Macaroni Salad Is My Fav.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp at the front entrance which facilitates wheel chair access.“
“Nothing bad to say here! Staff are very friendly. Cookies are large and yummy. I've ordered numerous Birthday cakes and tortes from here and they have been exceptional every time. Their buttercream frosting is my favorite! Fresh baked bread is delicious too.“
“One of the very few restaurants/cafes in Pittsburgh that serves Ube anything! -- Like other reviews, this is every foodie's dream: food was delicious (get their Ube Waffle!), decor is elegant (they have golden ceilings!), and service is super chill and calming. I've been here a few times already, and each experience is just the vibe.“
“A Sweet Morsel is my go to bakery. I recommend it to anyone in the North Hills area. I’ve worked with them for custom cupcakes for an event we hosted and most recently for a baby shower cake. Everyone always raves about how delicious desserts are. They’re extremely responsive and easy to work with.On the weekends I try to stop by to pick up their thumbprints, cookie sandwiches, or the peanut butter skillet bars (which do not last long in our house as they’re so good!!).“
“An awesome Korean bakery! All of the items I got were definitely high quality. I think I prefer this place over Pink Box, but I’ll need to try more to be sure. I ordered the condensed milk loaf, twisted donut, plain buttercream bread, and the coffee bun.My favorite of the items was by far the coffee bun, which I was quite surprised by! It had nice, crispy edges full of sweet, but not too sweet, coffee flavor. The inside was soft and had hints of coffee as well. Overall, very good! And good portion for the price. The twisted donut reminded me of just a regular donut sprinkled with sugar. It wasn’t anything too special or extraordinary, but it was well made. The inside was soft, and it was very sweet. The plain buttercream bread was surprisingly not that sweet! The buttercream is quite rich and creamy. I will say, I would have liked a bit more of it, as the bread really dominated the flavor here. Still, great.I was a tad bit disappointed with the condensed milk loaf, but it was still great. I was expecting a bit more milky flavor and sweetness, but the hints of condensed milk are very light. The bread is still soft and fluffy, and a solid deal for the price. All in all, I really enjoyed this place. The desserts were all high quality and pretty fairly priced in my opinion. Solid portions as well. Some unique items, some more standard. Recommend it!Kid-friendliness: Kids would enjoy at least some of these treats“
“Its as good as it was before they closed. The chocolate cupcakes with either the fudge on top or the chocolate buttercream are easily the best chocolate cupcakes we've ever had. My dad doesn't even like cake that much but we took a 1/2 dozen to my parent's house and he said it was the best chocolate cupcake he's ever had and he's in his 70's, so that's got to be pretty good right? If he said it was the best cupcake he's had all day, then I wouldn't bother writing this review because then I would know he's had a better cupcake before that day right?“
“I ordered a Neapolitan pastry and it was fantastic. A very refreshing and surprisingly light breakfast. The staff was very familial and treats their regulars with great care. If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely stop by again to sample some more. Strawberries seemed fresh and the cream was wonderful.“
“Is there a reason now when I go to the drive thru between 430-5 AM the past 3 days plus a handful of other times the past couple weeks it’s closed? There’s cones blocking the drive thru lane, when there’s only been 1 maybe 2 people inside ordering“
“What a great idea to have a "fast food" shop just 1/2 block from the actual full service, very busy restaurant. With fresh, refrigerated, and frozen food, bread, sandwiches, the restaurant favorites, without the wait. No seating, just an order counter, with wonderful staff, anxious to help. Go!! You will not be disappointed!“
“I no longer live in Pennsylvania, but every single time I visit, I make sure to check out the Bread Schedule and give Loafers a call! The staff are always incredibly helpful/accommodating; I've called many times with requests to pre-order/hold a loaf or two to fly them back home with me, and they are always willing to do so. Their product is always incredibly fresh and delicious. It's so hard to eat any other kind of bread, knowing that this craftsmanship is out there. If you're visiting the area (or have guests visiting), make sure to swing by. Fox Chapel, don't take this place for granted! It's an absolute GEM.“
“We ordered five dozen cupcakes from Sweet Alchemy for my daughter's birthday party and they were delicious - so many people complimented them! Jamie was able to accommodate our order on rather short notice and was very pleasant to communicate with. Additionally, we have food allergies in the family and Jamie made me feel very comfortable talking over everything and also gave us a full list of all ingredients used. Thanks so much Jamie - will definitely order here again!“
“Highly recommend! We had their cupcakes for my dad’s 70th birthday and knew we had to have them for our annual company event. The cupcakes were so delicious and moist. The icing was literally perfect. Not too sweet. We look forward to trying their cakes and pies next. I purchased some cookies when I picked up my cupcake order and those were so good too! My new favorite bakery!“
“This place is amazing! It is a pretty dense pretzel. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich on a Thursday for $4.50. It was so worth it! Came with lettuce and tomato. I'm sure the service is great, a friend picked up my order. The place is nice and offers a lot of variety. It's good price and pretty good food.“
“Absolutely incredibly, if you aren't coming here every Saturday and Sunday morning you are not fully enjoying what Pittsburgh has to offer you. Biscuit sandwiches are amazing with great flavor profiles and quality ingredients. Every pastry or dessert I have tried has been nothing but wowing. Everyone is super kind and willing to answer any questions you may have about the food. Coffee options are limited but good quality. 100/10“
“I was born and raised in Florida. But I come to Pittsburgh about every year since I was a little kid, I'm In my 60s. This is my first stop when I get there and then my stop every day including the day I leave. I've never had better bread, thank you. I'll be up in two weeks“
“I had the pleasure of using this service. After two days of absolute chaos trying to find a gift delivery service to use for our company gifts (spoke with multiple and ended up very frustrated and almost giving up) I ordered, so user friendly and when I made a mistake and called them for help, they were so helpful! Everyone I spoke with was a joy to deal with. I HIGHLY recommend and they have the cutest products!“
“Conveniently located deli and catering business. Excellent daily specials changing each week. I have yet to have one I have not enjoyed. They also offer MTO deli sandwiches. I will continue to frequent here for lunch and would definitely recommend“
“This is a great spot for a date night, lunch with friends, or business meeting. Seating inside and outside. Prices are on the higher end, but it is worth it for the experience and setting. I wouldn't say it's kid friendly, but kids are welcomed. For the best experience, make sure to come in the summer when they have movies on the lawn, games, and free popcorn.“
“I stopped here today for the 1st time !!BUTTER SPRITZ cookies so yummy that I may have hid them so I don't have to share Also , the PEPPERONI ROLLS are loaded and so delicious! What a steal for $3 I'll be back to try more baked goods!“
“This has been my favorite coffee spot since college. There’s been only one unpleasant incident: I had something bitter in their blueberry muffin — after I let the staff know I was given a one dollar voucher so it wasn’t that bad. They don’t really make the food from scratch so I don’t consider it their fault. Otherwise, it’s always been a pleasure to get a coffee and get some reading/homework done in this place. Once I placed the wrong order and upon getting my whole milk matcha and doublechecking if it’s oat milk, the barista immediately made another one for me. I also enjoy their nut and seed bar a lot, a very healthy treat when you crave sweets.“
“I had the pleasure of visiting this gem of a bakery and I must say the pastries that I had were simply delicious. The rich buttery raspberry cookies, the flavorful macaroons and flaky ladylocks. The service was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back to try some of their other items.“
“My first time visiting Oakmont Bakery and it did not disappoint! I had been hearing about the Bakery from guys at work. I had to make the hour drive to check it out. It was absolutely amazing! The smell driving up and from the parking lot ... very clean environment. The staff was friendly and wonderful ... very patient even tho I was a newbie! Will definitely be making more trips in the future!“
