“Had a great time at restaurant week dinner with my friend and baby. Our server, Danielle, was super sweet and polite, even though she was really busy. She did a great job taking care of everyone on her own—props to her!

The food was delicious, and the portions were perfect, also these have to be the biggest shrimp I’ve ever seen. We were so full, we had to take most of it home. Definitely try the grapefruit guava refresher or the Jaime mango palmer …so good! the cedar plank salmon was delicious and I think this place makes the best Mac and cheese!

“My friend and I came across this lovely winery while out and about for New Year’s Eve (2024). We snagged a seat at the bar. Andrew was a great server, Very friendly and personable. I would like to come back for their cuisine, however they have an array of a wine list! I tried a few from dry to sweet and processed to ask questions, they’re extremely knowledgeable and proceeded to even look for an ice wine for me just by mentioning it. so far my favorite would be the house rosé. (and I don’t usually like the dryer side). Thank you for this experience, I am looking forward to many more and happy new year!“

“As an American, or maybe more as a Pennsylvanian, it is a god given right to have a roast beef restaurant/bar within 30 minutes of your home. If you live in the West Chester, PA area. Nick’s Roast Beef is your spot.

The roast beef sandwich is simply perfect. Ask for the combo and you get cheese on the sandwich. They only carry sharp provolone because it compliments the roast beef. Get a cup of gravy on the side if you like it sloppy. Apply horseradish to suit your taste. Even though I don’t always layer on banana peppers, you have that option available.

Odds are if you look around you might see someone with a small vessel of fries smothered in something. That is the gravy fries. Pick whatever meat you want on the fries and they will chop it and top it. I opt for the turkey gravy fries. It taste like the best chicken noodle soup you have ever had, then step it up a level with turkey. Once that matrimony of gravy occurs, the fries come in like an extramarital affair. Leaving you full of flavors you have not had in a while, or maybe never had.“

“Ordered takeout and it was out of this world as always. When I called they were super busy and I let them know I will wait if Chef can accommodate and I provided my order. Let them know I’m right down the street and just need a 5 minute notice and they would call back when it wasn’t busy - they called me back in less than 30 minutes and said ready in 10 minutes. I love the fact that if they are too busy and can’t accommodate at that time they’re honest. It’s a small family business the Mom is the host and probably one of my favorites she is like old school south Philly meets Mother Theresa! The chef is a perfectionist and I always try at least one special and have never regretted it. I am utterly amazed each time at the dishes he comes up with. Overall price wise they cannot be beat, huge portions and every bite was heavenly. Where can you get this much fresh, delicious food for under $100 no where except New American Bistro. It’s also extremely rare to get take out and it be as good as served in the restaurant. The beet with pistachio encrusted goat cheese salad with raspberry dressing. This salad had it all! Everything was so fresh and crisp. There were so many bursts of flavor. This was a special hopefully it will be added to the menu. Rating: 5/5 Spicy crab chowder - we always order. It’s my husband’s favorite soup. Rating: 5/5 Blackened Scallops with Raviolis and Lobster Sauce - we always order. Appetizer size comes with 4 blackened scallops and a couple ravioli. Rating: 5/5 Maryland crab cake with Ravioli and pesto sauce. This was my first time trying and typically does not get pesto dishes. This had so much flavor and was refreshing if that makes any sense. Appetizer size comes with a very large crab cake and a couple ravioli. Rating: 5/5 Gnocchi's with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat and Gorgonzola Sauce- this is my absolute favorite dish. The Gorgonzola sauce you could drink. I dip the homemade bread in the sauce after. It’s my favorite. I’m a huge Gorgonzola fan I put it on everything. The Gorgonzola sauce on this particular dish I find to be mild and perfection. I just woke up thinking of this dish it is so unbelievably good. Rating: 5/5“

“Dinner at White Dog Cafe Glen Mills tonight was AWESOME!!!! Anthony was our waiter, he was fun and entertaining as always!!! For drinks, Dad and I had sodas, and Mom had water. For the main course, we all ordered burgers. Dad and I both ordered the White Dog Double Cheddar Burger. Dad had his burger with no cheese, no smoked bacon mayo, bibb lettuce, tomato, and a grilled red onion. I had my burger with just cheese and onions. They were cooked perfectly, as always! Mom ordered her favorite, the Vegan Cheeseburger without the mushroom "bacon" and the adobo steak sauce. It had double smashed patties, vegan cheese, caramelized onions, romaine lettuce, and was served on a sweet potato bun. She enjoyed it as always; Chef Pablo did a great job of preparing it! We had a side of regular fries and a side of baked sweet potato fries beautifully prepared by Chef Mike. They were served with a ranch dipping sauce and were delicious! For dessert, Dad and I had vanilla ice cream served with a shortbread dog biscuit cookie. Dad had his plain, while I had mine with chocolate syrup. Mom had the Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee, served with a shortbread cookie, she really enjoyed it as always! The new general manager, Oy, is fun and very sweet! Jayton, one of the assistant managers, came by to say hello and to see how the food was. Chef Mike and Alice, another server, also stopped by to see how our food was. “I traveled from Atlanta to Union Steaks, and it was worth it! Perfectly located by the Philadelphia United arena, the cheese steaks are among the best in the area. Soft bread, fresh peppers, and onions made every bite delightful. Bonus: the entire menu is Halal! The staff is friendly, and their cheese steak nachos are a must-try. Shannon provided excellent attentive service and the burrata, Nashville chicken sandwich and Mill salad were delicious and well plated. All the employees that we encountered were nice, but the host stand is a bit chaotic/confusing, but it appears this is common at all Nudy's locations I have visited. I really like their menu - they have really good options for breakfast and lunch. I like to think of Nudy's as an upscale diner. The food taste healthier, and it is probably because they use less oil/butter.“

With a while jalapeño and a mound of bacon on top. I’m wanting another one just thinking about it. We also had 1/2 rack ribs, very tender, falling off the bone.

“This is our local Applebee’s and we love coming here on a Friday night to catch up on our lives, eat some good food and relax and unwind. The atmosphere is chill and homey with big, comfy bench seats and oak woodwork bathed in a warm glow of colorful, easy on the eyes, hanging lights. Lots of TVs with favorite sports channels and walls full of local memorabilia. Our waitress, Chrissie, was so nice and helpful and hung out a bit to talk. We come to Westtown about once a month and have always had delightful experiences here at H&L!We enjoyed lunch on our most recent visit. My wife had a corned beef sandwich, while I enjoyed the fried fish sandwich with lettuce and tomato. Both meals came with a pickle and potato chips on the side but we chose to upgrade to fries for an extra $3. “Nice place! Felt very homely and welcoming. It's a bit out of the way but a friend took me there to try after he was impressed by it. I had the chipped beef on toast and it hit the spot. I also had a side of scrapple. Most places don't cook scrapple correctly but Libby's did a fine job with it, and that's coming from a guy that lives in scrapple territory! I will say that the potatoes needed salt, but I'd rather have to add salt than deal with having too much salt. The coffee was decent as well.

Oh yeah, talk about affordable! This is how breakfast should be priced!

They tried calling me beforehand to let me know there was only one guy working the kitchen but they couldn't get ahold of me, then I couldn't reach them later on...Wish the late-night menu was separate and posted CLEARLY on the website. Otherwise, don't be open till 1 on the weekdays lol. Food was okay..The calamari was unseasoned and the thai chili sauce saved it. Pretzels were good but the apple butter was store-bought. Besides that, the atmosphere was fun. The people really made it welcome there, and the cocktails were good. I recommend coming when it is busy and fully-staffed.“
