“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

“It was kinda dead on a Wednesday, but after 3 bars and getting hungry stopped at Cheers Cafe on Westmoreland st in Port Richmond...for a pint...early enough they served food. Had a pint and some soup and OMG!!! Soup was amazing..made from scratch and was freaking delicious. Didn't even want to drink anymore wanted to just keep eating...Ordered crab balls to go...he he he!!! Then ordered whatever they had left with the soup...I am so enjoying my day off with the soup!!!! DEFINATELY A PLACE TO STOP FOR FOOD...SO YUMMY!!!“

“Total hidden gem. I’m a sucker for a good dive bar, and this place completely nails the vibe. It is so warm and cozy inside, and it was clearly a neighborhood favorite packed with regulars who know the drill. The bartenders are right on top of things—attentive without being overbearing—and the drinks are just classic, no-nonsense pours. “The Bridesburg Pub for years is a fun place to go. There is always people that you know in there. This particular late day into night visit was awesome with our bartender, Tony, who we were all meeting for the first time. He was very friendly, attentive to our drinks, just a great guy!. My girlfriend and I were on a Chambord kick and I was impressed that they had that liqueur and Tony was no stranger in making my Chambord Sours and Debbie’s French Martini’s.

Parking: We found spots right by the Bridesburg Pub. It was Labor Day Weekend also.“

And the ladies room was very clean and extremely modern and up-to-date. Owners usually skimp on the extras for their public restrooms, (no trim, cheap soap, etc.) but they really shouldn't; and THIS place didn't. That really matters. It says what their costumers are worth to them. Especially in these days of $300+ handbags. This place is real chill. But not overtaken by hipsters like some other Fishtown spots.
