“I grew up on homemade Middle Eastern food made daily by my parents, so I’m very picky when it comes to authenticity. I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. The meat is 100% Halal and you can taste the quality. Flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. **This is the kind of spot you want to support. “Excellent dining experience. Service, by Kai, was as good as the food. A tad pricey, but this kind of cuisine and professional service should be. BYOB saves a few bucks, so I will be back. The endive salad with a Dijon vinaigrette was sublime and the Red Snapper the best we’ve had. Oh, and the New York strip steak was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. “Ordered a chicken pesto Stromboli and one of the reasons was the sun dried tomato’s. Unfortunately it came with regular tomatoes which made it watery. Sun-dried tomatoes are more expensive than plum tomatoes and the flavor is very different.if they were not available the server should have mentioned and the price should reflect the difference. Very disappointed and only had a couple bites.“

“Ordered chicken vindaloo medium heat & chicken 65 biranyi medium heat. Both were delicious! But I will caution - we found the medium spice a little too spicy. And we are usually good with the heat. But I think it might change as we get older!

Will do mild next time but it was super good. Loved all the carrot slivers in the biranyi!“

“I was super excited for this place, came for my husband’s birthday and after dinner my expectations weren’t met. We tried two of their daily specials, the smash burger was amazing!! We also got their prime rib sandwich and this was a miss. The price was a lot for being basically an overdone dry steak sandwich. The real kicker of the night was the service. We had Matt N. and he was not attentive and made us feel like we inconvenienced him. Honestly I will still recommend this place to my friends and family, but wish the service was just better for a special occasion.“

“To me personally best cheese steak I've had so far! Many options to choose from on toppings and cheese, mine was around $17 but you get your money's worth - it's BIG. There are other things besides cheese steak and pretty sure they have drinks and beer. Order in the right window, when your order is ready they display your name on the screen and announce it on Mike/speaker and you pick up in the left window. It's CASH ONLY and there are no seats inside, some tables outside. We parked on the street and walked over, no designated parking lot. Staff was very nice. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!“

“House of Thai is a hidden gem in Mayfair! The owners are wonderful people that treat you like you’re family! The atmosphere is calm & relaxing & intimate! I’ve been going here for years & they never disappoint. They’re consistent in the flavorful, freshness of their food! I ordered pickup through Uber eats as I haven’t had them in a while & Of course they still didn’t disappoint. They were so quick with making the food! It came fast & was packaged with care! It was warm & fresh & full of flavor! Truly a 5 star experience! I recommend EVERYONE try here! The owners are deserving of local business support as well! Thank you, I will be back again of course! Our waitress, Sara, was so engaging, accommodating, and just helped make our birthday dinner extra special. We really appreciated all she did for us. The food and service were great.“

“I want to offer some feedback to your staff. Dining there with a friend on May 9th, I found the meal to be very good with a couple of slips. My friend's aspargus salad and cod were excellent. The mousse au chocolat was fine. However, two items I chose needed some rethinking: the pastry for the vol au vent and the rabbit. The pastry had melted into the snail and their excellent sauce; it was hard to find. The first of many I ate many years ago, the first in Tunis, was tasty and stood a firm 3" high filled with the farce. Perhaps assembly is the issue. The rabbit was the second. The meat was dry; the sauce had not infused into the flesh. Perhaps a longer low/slow cook time. Perhaps when getting a reservation, you could ask the customer what they were thinking of choosing. If it were rabbit, you would know the order in advance and prepare more slowly. Duck fat might be a good liquid to brown the rabbit. I had not dined at Spring Mill Cafe' since the mid-90s. Perhaps when I dine there again, you will have the b'stilla on the menu. Thank you for this opportunity. PJM“

The food is delicious too! I’ve tried the wraps, chkn salad, and hoagies and highly recommend. Also tried both soups, “fish” stew, drumsticks, jerk chickpeas and curry chickpeas, and chkn with gravy which were DELICIOUS. favorite sides are cabbage, collard greens, and Mac n cheese.“
