“I really really enjoy Wally's Deli. I have been going here for nearly a couple decades, and they are absolutely wonderful. They're meats and staff are absolutely courteous and wonderful and great! “Cozy corner pub with charm. Had the fish & chips special…which was yummy. Had the specialty beer on tap…also yummy. Barmaid/waitress was cheerful & friendly. We ate on the sunny front porch. *To enter, use the side door at the ramp by the parking lot. We did a full building walk-around until we realized that was the only entrance.“

The bar area had plenty of options to choose from, including a couple beers on tap.The food was definitely lacking, especially for the cost. The quesadilla was the highlight, with good seasoning and plenty of chicken and cheese. The green salsa that came with it was delicious and had just enough of a kick. The nachos were lackluster, and kind of felt like something I could make at home in the microwave for a third of the cost. The spring rolls were ridiculously small for the $13 price tag - easily eaten in one bite, and not outstanding taste-wise.For a dining spot in a pricey resort, we found it incongruent that we were served on plastic plates and with plastic utensils.When we had the option of eating here again the next day for lunch or driving down into town to find someplace else, we chose to go elsewhere. The food itself was good, especially the chicken fried steak. I will say that the hunting lodge atmosphere is the best of any breakfast place that I’ve ever eaten at though. “Yocco's Hot Dog King is a 100+ year old cultural phenomenon in the Allentown/Bethlehem area, where frankfurters are truly snack royalty. There are a half dozen of these small fast food outlets by this name (as well as several other franchises and independent dog houses) around these parts. Our reason for stopping- a need for a break after a long drive home from Niagara Falls. Although still 75 minutes away, we like Yocco's individually handgrilled sausages from past visits, and our hunger after 6 hours on the road had us looking forward to the break and even fantasizing about that first bite and snap.We ordered a dozen of their classics, grilled and rolled with mustard, onion bits and a thin smear of their unique savory chili. Each was wrapped in white paper and boxed in plain cardboard. We also grabbed a large size crinklecut fries. We were really hungry, and quickly wolfed down those crisp babies as we drove south again toward Quakertown and then onto Route 313 all the way to Newtown. Sorry. No pics, as that Yelp courtesy was forgotten by our yowling bellies. We scarfed down two hots dogs apiece in the car, saving the final two for our kitchen table. While I wouldn't have them as a regular part of my diet, these Yoccos really hit the spot. No apologies. There will be a next time, and we will also try their pierogi as a side for the King of Hot Dogs.“

They dealt with COVID restrictions with a lot of class and extraordinary amount of patience, because let's face it, COVID, at the beginning, was confusing and it was visibly hard on those that work there. I don't live in the area anymore, I got the hell out of dodge, but it was an open and friendly environment and staff tried to make it welcoming.
