“At first glance, the Palm looks like what could best be described as your typical country dive bar - which it sort of is, but with some pleasant enhancements. The decor in the bar area is unique, there is a quote regarding the love of music overhead as you walk through to the traditional seating. I can't explain the allure of the place exactly, only that it's got that "slowed down" vibe that seems to be lost in a world of 2025 chain bars/gastropubs. Admittedly, I have always been a sucker for places like this - but the Palm did not disappoint. We were a party of 5, my wife, myself, our three kids (12, 7, 3) and while we were the only family with young kids in there at the time (and my 3-year-old was absolutely post-nap second energy wind) nobody seemed to mind. They have a chalkboard with daily soup specials that looked like someone took the time to make fancy. The food was typical of a bar, I wouldn't say it was out of this world (I had the diablo burger) but it was above-average for a bar setting. My daughter had the kids burger which was sort of lack-lustre, my wife had a roast beef sandwich (complete with sides of horseradish and Au Jus) which was not only massive, but "really really good" and let me tell you she's the food critic between us. I liked that the floors are sort of worn, it aided in the atmosphere feeling like your local family pub. Service was great, and that's considering that the bartender was alone, with 6-8 people at the bar, and probably another 12-15 people seated at the table. She was a rock star and absolutely the reason we will be back. I liked this place, a lot - give it a try!“

The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and inviting, with a wonderful homey feel. The chef was so friendly and took the time to check in on us, which made the experience even more special. Our waiter, Silas, was extra attentive and personable. He took the time to talk with us, share a few laughs, and made us feel right at home. The drinks were delicious, and the desserts were the perfect ending to an amazing meal. A truly wonderful dining experience with incredible food, a welcoming atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. “We had The Bally Hotel cater my daughter’s birthday party on Saturday and the food was excellent and plentiful! The owner was super easy to work with and accommodating with what we wanted for the menu. They provided us with the chafing dishes which kept our food warm until we ate which was almost an hour and a half after we picked it up. The food was also perfectly packed so there were no issues with any spilling during transport. Would highly recommend having The Bally Hotel cater your next event. You won’t be disappointed!“

“We hadn't been to Friendlys (Trexlertown) in a long time. The food was good and of course we had ice cream but our waitress, Abbygale, was excellent. She was very personable and attentive. She made sure we were well taken care of and made eating there a pleasant experience!“

“UPDATE: Went back Thursday, May 10th and tried the meatballs. They were good, but the wings and Prime Rib Sliders are still the favorites for me. Went out to eat Sunday evening, at Capo and Co, in Emmaus. I can't say enough about the food and service. My favorites are the wings. I will never go anywhere else for wings again! I got plain to dip in their horseradish sauce, and my boyfriend got sweet chili. They were amazing! The prime rib sliders melt like butter in your mouth. The toppers in the Bloody Mary included a fat slice of provolone, sweet Gherkins pickle, bacon, olives and more. The atmosphere was cozy and yet so roomy. The place was immaculately clean and the presentation of the food was first class. A must try for everyone!“

“I have been staying at the Hyatt since it opened several years ago and dining at the Westside Grill on every stay. I frequent this hotel and am more than just a guest, bordering on being a resident due to my frequent travel into the Lehigh Valley. As a Globalist with Hyatt I cannot say enough good about the hotel and the Westside Grill. After having dinner there again this evening and having another outstanding experience I feel compelled to write this review. The dining room management of the Westside Grill is exceptional with Eileen, the Manager, doing an exceptional job. She is a walk around manager very visible in the dining room, greeting customers, and ensuring they are having a great dining experience. This evening I had the pleasure of having Deanna as my server and she did an outstanding job as well. Both Eileen and Deanna are very attentive insuring that the customer is well taken care of and not wanting for anything. I cannot say enough GOOD about this restaurant. It is top shelf, great abidance, exceptionally clean, supported by a full service bar and an exceptional menu and wine list. The Westside Grill has been consistent in service, quality, and presentation of food since I began dining there while staying at the hotel. I strongly recommend the Westside Grill for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for an exceptional dining experience. I bring often business associates with me for morning, afternoon, and evening business discussions at the Westside Grill and have never been disappointed. Both the Westside Grill and Hyatt Hotel have a great staff that are always wanting to make your dining experience and stay exceptional and memorable. It makes you want to come back!!! “It was our first time trying the Sumneytown Hotel. Hands down amazing! The ambience was relaxing, and the building is beautiful. The food and service were phenomenal! The flavors of the food just went together so well and the presentation was beautiful! Also, the clams were cleaned thoroughly, not grainy at all! Great wine options too. Our server, Jamie, was very nice and extremely attentive. Her service was top notch. She gave very good recommendations on the food and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend coming here for flavorful food, a relaxing night, incredible service and good drinks! We will be back! When I get the feeling a server can handle my wackiness, when I ask for honey mustard for my fries, I specify “mustard honey.” She smiled and said Sure!

My in-laws got their usual, a White Russian sandwich and a burger. My wife got a French Dip type of sandwich, and I ordered a French Onion Soup with a side of curly fries. When Abby brought out our food she saved mine for last, and she said “here’s your mustard honey.” She sat down a bottle of honey and a bottle of mustard. The four of us busted up laughing because the joker got PUNKED! But yes, I did get the real thing.

As usual our food was served hot and was very tasty. It wasn’t just punking me that made me appreciate her. Abby truly enjoys people, which reflects on the exceptional level of service she provides. Servers like Abby are rare these days, and I trust management will pass on our complements. And I hope I spelled her name correctly because it could be Abbie. Either way she rocks!

“This is easily the best option for food at the mountain. There's a kids menu that is reasonably priced with options like grilled cheese, cheeseburger, ham and cheese. Fountain machine for sodas as well as a cooler with bottled drinks.

For breakfast, the buffet is a good value as it includes coffee and kids 10 and under are free.

The manager Jordan is ever present and super helpful, ensuring the service is excellent. He kindly helped us when my kid dropped his hot chocolate. Even got the kid a new hot chocolate, which was not necessary but very much appreciated. All of the staff here are very friendly and ensure a good family experience for meals.“
