“Highly recommend the Grandma’s Trio. Don’t be afraid of the margarita pizza in the middle. I was worried it was too saucy but wanted to step out of my comfort zone. I am SO glad I did! It turned out to be my favorite section, although I must say all three are outstanding. It’s pizza you’ve never had and don’t know you needed, and 100% worth trying. We literally planned a weekend in Harrisburg based on Papa Joe’s. The weather was wonderful so we chose to sit on the screened in porch and we received very good service. Ordered Veal Scalapini and it was good. An addition of lemon or garlic or a splash of white wine in the sauce would take it to the next level. My wife had the chicken bruscetta with broccoli. The dish was cold because the Bruscetta was not warmed before putting it on the chicken. Chicken was nice and tender. Wonderful entree just needed some heat. Since we are wood fired oven pizza snobs we try a small pizza. the cheese and sauce we real good. Can't say the same for the crust, which is the foundation of every good pizza. Suggest a 3 day cold fermentation with the dough to enhance the flavor. Then the pizza would be in a 9/10 range. Overall wonderful dining experience“

“Hands down, best chicken wings in Harrisburg! Sauce Boss is a hidden gem. We had a 24pc plate with our 4 favorite flavors of perfectly cooked wings; mango habanero, lemon pepper dry rub, garlic Parmesan and buffalo sauce. The truffle fries were very tasty as well with truffle oil, parmesan cheese and parsley. Great customer service, very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They don’t sell beer but you may bring your own. I recommend this place!“

“We moved to this area around 6 years ago and recently saw good reviews about this place so we decided to try. We got the steak tacos, chicken taco, carnitas tacos and a sampler appetizer and wow those tacos were next level. Not what you’d expect from a pizza place and we were blown away by how good the meat was seasoned and the guac, pico and spicy sauce that came with it. Even a big slice of lime in each taco trio to brighten the dish. We will be going back. Sorry it took us so long to try it out!“
