“We go way back with the original Vince. So glad this restaurant is open again. We ordered pick up today ( Tuesday) around 4pm. #12 The Italian hoagie we ordered turned out to be a ham hoagie. The rest of the order was delicious. Chicken pop pie soup and a taco salad. Hope Someone is enjoying our Italian hoagie. We will be back. Smile.

“I stopped here before and grabbed some desserts from the bakery case that were to die for. This morning I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich after a long hike that was AMAZING. I got the rib eye and egg with cooper on an everything bagel. Best bagel I've had in a long time. So so good. Can't wait to stop back in to try more sandwiches!!!“

“This was the 1st time my husband and I have ever visited this restaurant. We ordered the medium cheese steak stromboli which was not only soo delicious but we came home with more than 1/2 of the stromboli which will feed us for a couple more meals.I do want to say that when we were there at lunch time, the employees were also sitting down, having lunch. Everything they had looked amazing! I have never witnessed that before and I thought it was really sweet.Calls were being ordered, people were picking up orders, we were waiting for our order, without any delay. Even though the staff was having lunch, customers were not affected. I really am soo sorry I didn't ask what they were eating, because it looked so amazing and the whole staff seemed really happy!Next time I go there I'm going to order what they are having!“

“I live in Pennsburg which has about 10 different pizza shops. None of them compare to Giovanni’s. I love Sicilian pizza and Giovanni’s has the best bar none. When I order one at my local pizza shop, it turns out to be a regular pizza made into a square shape. Thanks for the care, quality and freshness of your food.“

“We ordered a 13 inch white pizza and added artichokes and pancetta for pickup. We also ordered mozzarella sticks. The pizza was delicious, although we did feel the toppings were skimpy. We let our one year old try pizza for the first time with this and she was loving it too ? sorry, no picture of the mozzarella sticks because once I saw how they were made I immediately started eating them lol. They're the kind with a nice thick crunchy batter. So much flavor in everything. We can't wait to try more things from your restaurant!“

“This place is fantastic! I always love my meal of chicken Marsala and my family loves the chicken parmesan. The sauces are just right, not too sweet or tart. The tiramisu is on par with the tiramisu I had in Italy. Service is always wonderful.“

“I placed a take out order for my first time at Opa Vera's, but it DEFINITELY will not be my last visit. The Traditional Gyro was FABULOUS--and one of the best I have ever had. First of all, it was HUGE, and made to order per my requests to leave off onions and to add extra Tzatziki sauce. The meat was to DIE FOR!!! Unbelievably tender and tasty!! Tomatoes that still tasted like they were summer fresh from someone's garden, and lettuce that was fresh, crisp and green--no brown edges. While I only went into the restaurant to pick up my order, the place was spotless and the tables actually gleaming. Kudos to the staff of Opa Vera on their great food , and know that I will be back!“

Weren't sure about how to order, but owner came over and took our order, after taking phone orders. Ordered what sounded like a good pizza. Chicken, and bacon ranch pizza. Came out looking amazing. Owner asked if we needed spices, we hesitated, then owner suggested we shouldn't. Because it would take away the flavor of the pizza. Well, we must agree, because that pizza was AWESOME. “This review is solely about their pizza. Got a plain cheese slice to try them out. Dry, had a hard crust, bland as hell, cheap cheese. I'm not exaggerating when I say it didn't taste any different from a low end frozen pizza at Walmart. Definitely bottom shelf quality. Will never eat here again.“

“The food is decent; not the best I've ever had, but certainly far from the worst. Prices are slightly higher for things like cheesesteaks than I've paid elsewhere, but not by enough to really make a difference. The interior is clean, staff are courteous. If you live in the neighborhood, it's a reasonable choice, but there are lots of pizza places everywhere, and this one doesn't really stand out. If I didn't work nearby, I'd have no real reason to go there.“
