Bar Symon Reviews
their lime margarita is amazing! so is their cobb salad, and the waitress was incredible!
Okay, the service here was surprisingly good, very professional. It was a bit quiet for my taste on a damp Tuesday, but the bartender really knew their stuff and made sure I had what I needed without hovering.
I chose a restaurant near my flight gate.
Bar Simon is near gate 10, I entered the restaurant and bar to find a comfortable place to sit and enjoy my meal making sure that my carryon luggage was near me. I chose the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks sandwich with chips and a local Philadelphia beer.
I enjoyed the juicy flavored meat with melted cheese in a soft roll. The chips were crisp perfect to dip in the ketchup plastic thimble.

Bar Symon at the D terminal offers friendly and helpful staff, with standout service from Stephanie at the bar. The pierogies and kielbasa starter are highly recommended, praised for their excellent grilling and delicious char. The burger and pastrami subs received mixed reviews, with some feeling they could use more seasoning, and there was concern that the pastrami might have been corned beef. The breakfast options, including potatoes and eggs, are satisfactory, though the toast and sausage could be improved. The fries, especially the parm fries, were appreciated despite being made with canned or fine ground parmesan. The atmosphere provides great vibes, helping travelers feel like they are taken out of the airport for a moment. Service is generally good, though recent reviews mention that service can sometimes be slow and lean, with a need for more bartenders and helpers. Food quality remains high with well-seasoned and flavorful options like the cheese steak, pastrami, beer battered cod, and rosemary fries. Prices are fair, and the place is a nice spot to relax, mingle, or grab a drink before a flight.
