“It’s an unassuming spot in south Philly. You’re walking and out of nowhere, there it is. My friend and I went at noon on a Sunday, it was packed but honestly moved quickly. You order at the counter and then squeeze in the minimal seating. Even though at first I was thinking it was going to be a long process the line moved fast and people rotated out of their seats timely so my friend and I were able to get seats together with ease. We split the chicken congee and the breakfast sandwich and some vegetable fritters. Everything. Was soooo good. Could be considered one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the city. The beef bacon is really what it’s about. And the chicken congee was amazing, so much going on, lots of flavors and so comforting. Overall 10/10 will be going back.“

“Lovely little mom and pop restaurant for breakfast or lunch. They remember customers. Very kind and courteous service. The restaurant is clean and the restroom is immaculate. Great spot to chat over fresh and delicious coffee! 10/10 recommend!

Staff was lovely and attentive and we were surprised to see there was a seating area. The hot dogs are a must get and all of them were delicious. Definitely recommend adding on the picked and onion. This place will make you rethink whether a hot dog can be a sandwich. Will definitely be going back 🤘🏼🌭“

“While it's vibe feels like a cramped diner you can't actually eat in, I mean that in the best possible way. I visited Philly to spend a week with my sister, and despite how elbow to elbow you might feel ordering and waiting for your food, the lady behind the counter who I can only assume owns the place makes you feel right at home. I probably reeked of tourist, and all the same, my order was taken and I felt more than comfortable being able to chat back and forth with my sister, her partner, and the order taker without feeling even remotely across the country. Then there was the food... I only had breakfast there twice, and I'm only disappointed I couldn't have had every breakfast there. The home fries were easily some of the best I've ever had, with a perfect crisp to the outside while being nice and creamy in the center, and the onions and peppers only added some extra texture and flavor. The pork sausage omelette was about all I could ever ask for from a diner style omelette. I'm hoping to visit again next year, and I know for certain I'll be wanting to start the next morning here. “I read all the positive reviews and had to check it out for myself. I have always found it difficult to find something as simple as a good breakfast place. But this time i found it! The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. The portions were generous and the coffee was great. Thirteen bucks for all that. Perfect. I'll be back.“

A Philly staple. The cheese steak. Everyone complains about portions nowadays where you go. That's just the world we live in today, but the portion of fries, which by the way were some of the best fries I've EVER had! It taste so fresh. Hot, golden and the crispiness was on point! The cheese steak had the right amount of meat, cheese, onions and seasoning to bread ratio! Chef's kiss! The bread was toasted on the inside that had that crunch goodness to it. Come here for their breakfast! Then come back later for their lunch! You won't be disappointed! Shout out to the hostess! She was amazing! Very polite and professional!

“Both servers working the counter were pleasant but the woman running the cash register was dismissive (to me) and rude to the servers, customers, and Dashers. She seemed to be the manager. Everyone around her seemed to be prioritizing the customers except her. Then she changed my bill after the server gave me my payslip resulting the server receiving less tip from my check. She’s going to lose staff and customers if she doesn’t learn to be more pleasant. But overall a nice diner like atmosphere and food was good. I ordered a waffle with bananas and walnuts. “Hubs and I are on vacation and we literally just Googled breakfast places near us. We try to eat local when we travel and avoid chain restaurants so we chose this one based on the reviews. And it did not disappoint! The food is great and there’s plenty of it! I had the western omelette and home fries and could not finish it.
