Staff was lovely and attentive and we were surprised to see there was a seating area. The hot dogs are a must get and all of them were delicious. Definitely recommend adding on the picked and onion. This place will make you rethink whether a hot dog can be a sandwich. Will definitely be going back 🤘🏼🌭“

“I read all the positive reviews and had to check it out for myself. I have always found it difficult to find something as simple as a good breakfast place. But this time i found it! The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. The portions were generous and the coffee was great. Thirteen bucks for all that. Perfect. I'll be back.“

“Both servers working the counter were pleasant but the woman running the cash register was dismissive (to me) and rude to the servers, customers, and Dashers. She seemed to be the manager. Everyone around her seemed to be prioritizing the customers except her. Then she changed my bill after the server gave me my payslip resulting the server receiving less tip from my check. She’s going to lose staff and customers if she doesn’t learn to be more pleasant. But overall a nice diner like atmosphere and food was good. I ordered a waffle with bananas and walnuts. “Update #1 Hopefully you all read my previous review. Great spot for breakfast! So this time I thought I'd try something from their lunch menu. I had to try a Philly must. A Philly classic. A Philly staple. The cheese steak. Everyone complains about portions nowadays where you go. That's just the world we live in today, but the portion of fries, which by the way were some of the best fries I've EVER had! It taste so fresh. Hot, golden and the crispiness was on point! The cheese steak had the right amount of meat, cheese, onions and seasoning to bread ratio! Chef's kiss! The bread was toasted on the inside that had that crunch goodness to it. Come here for their breakfast! Then come back later for their lunch! You won't be disappointed! Shout out to the hostess! She was amazing! Very polite and professional!

The only reason I gave atmosphere a 4 star rating was because while I was there another customer was being obnoxiously loud. Again, not the places fault. Otherwise, fantastic experience!“

I had issues with some of my Canadian cards not working to pay and I felt bad causing a bother during busy breakfast hours. However the people running this place are very friendly and it's just a pleasant place to eat.“

And it did not disappoint! The food is great and there’s plenty of it! I had the western omelette and home fries and could not finish it. “I have been visiting this spot since 2001. Same great food, same family. Miss Mom and Pop being there but i am so glad to see the kids take over and continue serving food. The food is great and the price is good. Freshly grinded coffee, fresh food made to order. I dont care what anyone says but this is my go to breakfast spot in the entire Philly area.“

The food is the exact type of breakfast food you are looking for. Nothing is over cooked or over seasoned. The food is so good, I find it hard to eat the entire platter at times. It is located in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood, so the environment may not be appealing to some. However, there is no denying or questioning their food and the quality.

Parking: The store is located on a corner. The only place you can't park are the bus stops. However, you can park across the street, behind the bus stops, and along the side the diner.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to enter, simply a small ramp. Additionally, tables are low and you can rearrange them to fit your needs.“

“Been going here since before I can remember and for some reason always get creamp chipped beef. They can make anything taste great, and the staff are always always friendly and nice. They are easy to get along with and patient. The prices are going up just like everywhere else because of the raised prices of eggs so if its you’re first time back in a few years it might be surprising , but their a business that has to survive just like the rest of them.
