“We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here in September 2024. We had about 50 people and were able to rent out the entire indoor space. The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our menu and bar options. Planning with them was a breeze. We were very happy with the food. We actually had a difficult time hitting the minimum at the end of the night! We highly recommend hosting your private party at Chestnut Hill Brewing!“

Humble Parlor Brewing Company Brewery • $$

“Humble Parlor is one of my favorite places to go for a beer and hang out with great people. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. The owners are super nice and will always take time to talk to their customers. Also, be sure to stop by during the Phillies season and get your stamps! They have giveaways for each "tier" of stamps. During the summer, their backyard is a nice place to grab a beer, watch the Phils, and soak up the sun. 5/5!“

“Great fried pickles and egg rolls. The location is just off the heart of Fishtown. Inside is newly renovated and numerous TVs to watch sports. Beer prices were a bit high when factored the given area where there are other larger and more well known breweries. Over all not a bad place.“

Yards Brewing Company Bar • $
8000 Essington Ave, Philadelphia

“Let me start I did read all the bad reviews before heading over there so I didn’t have great expectations. However as a cheapskate and a craft beer lover especially searching for my lessor common styles of beer, I typically go by each bar and restaurant in airport and scan QR code to see beer selection and check pricing. Most places here in Philadelphia Airport straight rip off at 16 per pint, but when you want a beer you’re stuck. Anyway when I first approached the counter I was absolutely expecting to be poked since they didn’t show prices only beer menu.Luckily they had something for me that I was going to purchase regardless, A nice strong Golden at 8%.I was then blown away upon seeing I got a 20oz, normally higher ABV beers are served in smaller 12oz glasses. Any full pour of 20oz was only 10 bucks and I was expecting at least 20, left me room in budget to not only get 2nd beer plus a pretty solid hotdog and chips.Biggest plus was Connor the bar tender, was super cool and attentive, and then informed me I was safe to take my cup and walk back to my terminal, since I walked a fair distance just to check out all beer options.Lastly, unlike most other restaurants In airport it’s kind of obvious if your paying attention that their section is not owned and maintained by airport, as most restaurants have tables and chairs with chargers that kind of blend from restaurants into gates, so I kinda understand their right to ask people to patronize their business or ask them to leave, I was lucky to find a spot at the bar.Not excusing anyone ever treated rudely, and definitely not my experience.“

“I had a chronic urticaria last year, ever since then i have be visiting the clinic and taking different kinds of medicine but yet no improvement. Few months ago it got worse, the inching becomes unbearable, sometimes it spread all over my body and it almost affected my lungs. One faithful day, Someone saw me when I was at the supermarket here in ATL when I was shopping for some groceries, she walked up to me, we had a nice chat where she told me her experience when she had the same problem, and she was able to get rid of it permanently with herbs from dr festy, I requested for the Dr's contact and i ordered the medicine because at that point I was willing to try anything just to get rid my chronic urticaria. It affected my social life negatively, I hardly associate with people and I became depressed. So after using the herbs I was completely cured and my life is back to normal. I'll keep creating awareness about dr festy's herbal medicine by sharing my story because I know how it feels battling with chronic urticaria. Are you struggling with herpes, autism, HIV, infertility, HPV, and chronic health conditions, including diabetes, certain stages of cancer, arthritis, and anxiety disorders contact Dr Festy for proper consultations. Two Locals Brewing Brewery •
3675 Market St Suite 100, Philadelphia

“Can I tell y’all how great this spot is? And the combination with Liberty Kitchen is amazing. You just feel at home. Jasmine, the bartender, her husband, and the bartender for happy hour on Mondays (cant believe I can’t remember his name)…they all make you feel like family. The prices are beyond reasonable, the music is dope, this is spot is meant for your millennial (and non millennial) family needs.

Okay okay, edit to add, we went twice in two days. Invited more people back.“

“Went on a date night with my man and we had a great time. The food was very well cooked and seasoned. We got pretzels that were delicious. The mustard had wasabi so it was veryyy spicy and it also came with melted cheese on the side that I loved. Then I got the Schwab burger and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a salmon burger but he didn’t love it. I’m not a beer girl but they had cocktails and it was an amazing drink. I forget the name sorry! The service was great, Leo was our server he was very nice and we got everything we asked for in a timely manner. The atmosphere was nice, just loud on a Saturday night. There’s a shop to buy beer and a pool table. I think there’s an upstairs but we didn’t go up there. Would recommend for girls night, date night, and just casually getting together.“

Chestnut Hill Brewing Company Taproom Brewery • $$
8231 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia

“Excellent beer and food with impeccable service. I ordered a flight including blonde, session ale, West coast IPA, and brown ale. The blonde is light and crispy with a very light sweetness at the end. The session ale has the traditional bitter and hint of malt. This one finishes with what I describe as a dry tobacco finish. The west coast IPA takes me back to the great IPAs of the 2000s. This was such a treat. And the brown ale is perfectly malty. You have to love a good brown.

For food, we had the wontons with a dill sauce, Buffalo cauliflower, and a chicken sandwich. All tasty, well-prepared and quality ingredients. Excellent stop.“

“Everything was amazing from the style and the design of the place, the building, the service, the beer and the food. The pizza was perfectly cooked and the dough was delicious. the only thing is that I felt that it was a little too salty, maybe it was just yesterday, but I will have to try it again. The salt definitely made. My mouth feel overwhelmed with saltiness within the second slice. Nevertheless, they still deserve
Five stars but I hope they go easier on the salt and the pizza would be even more enjoyable.“

Second District Brewing Brewery • $$
1939 S Bancroft St, Philadelphia

“I had the Bancroft beer. It was a wonderful pale ale. Great mosaic flavour and really light alcohol for the amount of body and taste. Happy hour was very reasonably priced. I got the Smashburger, and as shown in the picture, it is a hamburger nicely dressed. I don’t think it’s quite fitting into the Smashburger category as Patty is just a bit too thick and not a ton of caramelization from the actual smashing I would totally try this place again especially happy hour. The bathroom is really nice and they did have a spot that they’re obviously letting people do the graffiti on which is the door so that people don’t tag up the walls.“
