Favorites so far have been the pandan waffle, taro boba, the banh mi combo, but this place is always on my mind to try much more of the menu! The boba drink sizes are also much more generous for the price compared to others.“

“Mr. Wish on Grant Avenue is a nice place to get bubble tea and smoothies. They have many drinks with fresh fruit. The mango smoothie is very good. The shop is clean and has comfortable chairs. The workers are friendly and help you choose a drink. Some drinks might be a little sour, so ask the staff if you like sweeter drinks. Overall, it is a good spot to relax and enjoy a tasty drink.

“This is one of my new, favorite spots to grab lunch on the go when I am at work! Great portions and very fresh compared to a few of the other poke spots around the city.

I saw this poke spot while riding the 33 bus and circled back on my way home to try it! Super glad I did. There are several poke spots throughout the city but if you have an appointment or work nearby, gojo is a worthy lunch option.

The staff are SUPER sweet and attentive. I greatly appreciate the care they gave to ensure my order was correct. The store has limited but roomy seating inside but personally I think this is more of a grab-and-go lunch location.

The dine-in setup is very casual — there is table service but you order/pay at the counter & self-serve water. There is a lot of natural light inside, a good view of the sidewalk to people-watch, and the two folks running the restaurant while I was there (possibly the owners) were phenomenally gracious hosts. There is a cold case of to-go snacks and drinks. The rice balls are a must try!

Having tried the chicken galbi lunch box and the squid dolsot, I can enthusiastically recommend both, but the dolsot was truly the star of the show in my opinion. The combination of buttery squid, jammy egg, umami & spicy sauce, veggie mix, and that crispy caramelized rice at the bottom is just absolutely magical.

“this is my favorite juice/milk tea place around these parts even if it's a bit pricy. okay, maybe not all blends are great but it's a case of preference... i didn't like that fruit espresso blend they have. butttttt they do have bomb dot com milk teas and fruit teas with soft boba and even had a limited time offering of a red guava i loved to bits. i'll definitely be coming back here or in their other branches whenever i'm in philly.

“This place is a hidden gem for Philly night owls and the socially anxious/claustrophobic. I work late, and I don't know many places open later that aren't bars or loud and crowded restaurants. It has become one of my go-tos. When people are playing pool in the downstairs lounge, the sound of voices is comforting without being distracting. The high ceilings make it feel spacious, although it's not overly big. Very simple and comfortable; like working from home, or in a quiet mall food court late at night. The shelves of board games, unpretentious decor, slight smell of cigarettes, all add to this homey feeling. The playlist is energetic but the music is not too loud. Service is quick but not overbearing. The tea and snack offerings are diverse without being over-complicated. This place is underrated.“

“Aside from great accommodations tea and fare these folks are honest to a fault. I have had two occasions where I left something behind first my wallet with around 1500 cash left there for 4 hours. They kept it for me. On the second my cell phone in the restroom. In a world where everyone is trying to get over these folks have stuck to morals and honor. “I stumbled upon this hidden gem a few weeks ago heading to a different restaurant but this one caught my attention, it’s BYOB as well the Pho and chicken and shrimp tempura is theeeee best, the Pho soup was so flavorful and the beef was cooked just right, the service was very good food came out nice and hot, it’s a nice chill atmosphere and they got some good music on the playlist, I have been here 2x since. Only place I go now when I want Pho.

“I always have the best experiences at Federal Donuts. Today I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich which was so good I forgot to take a photo. I also had a classic vanilla sprinkle donut that was absolutely perfect.
