“Truly the best pound cake I’ve ever had. This was a hit with the family for Easter- the marble cake with chocolate icing was my personal fav. The girls working were so friendly and welcoming even though the store was super busy! I will definitely be back!!“

“Dottie’s Donuts are the best donuts in Philadelphia. I’ll take the Pepsi Challenge to the crap they sell at Dunkin and I’d pick Dottie’s every single time. They’re quite possibly the greatest donuts in the state of Pennsylvania, which would immediately place them in the state national treasure donut contest. And once Florida is disqualified for not wearing mask, Dottie’s would see the highest standings in the runnin' for greatest donuts, worldwide. Yeah. That good.“

“First time visiting federal donuts, must admit the name is off setting strange for a restaurant name. My first impression was that the floors were very sticky I assume it was from the fountain drinks spillage the sitting tables were filled with stains and crumbs...I immediately clean the tables and chairs that I choose. The food was hot delicious and flavorful I definitely am returning“

“Federal Donuts & Chicken on East Market is a true gem for food lovers in Philly. Their crispy fried chicken is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and always hits the spot. The donuts are a delightful treat—made fresh, with creative flavors that change daily. Whether you’re craving savory or sweet, this place has it all. The staff is friendly, the vibe is laid-back, and the food is consistently fantastic. Don’t miss the honey donut with your chicken—pure bliss!“

“I was wating earlier this snowy sunday at south st location. I had an unfortunate moment of having a mild siezure (wich i am prone to having pretty often) the lady on shift that afternoon picked me up cus i had fallen. Gave a complimentary donut and juice! I cant say how much that means to me and made sure my ride picked me up safely. Give that person a raise! Great service. Thanks again.“

“We ordered a Federal Donuts wedding cake for our big day, and it was an great choice! We loved having a variety of flavors, which offered something different and fun for our guests.
The delivery and setup were easy and stress-free, letting us focus on enjoying our celebration. It made for a memorable centerpiece that added a whimsical touch to our wedding. I highly recommend a Federal Donuts donut wedding cake for any couple looking for a wedding cake alternative!“

“I think that Mochinut was T Cafe which can still be seen in maps but I'm not 100% certain.
Clearly the entrance says Mochinut as does the decor inside so assume that T Cafe is no longer.
Great stop for coffee and Mochinut. The inside of Mochinut is simple and streamlined with plenty of seating. A nice place for a quick break if you have spent time walking the city.
Of course, the Mochinut donuts are delicious and they have a large variety of flavors. The coffee is equally inviting with a large selection of coffee, smoothies and milk teas.
These are served in see-through cans which have aluminum tops with pull tabs - it's so cool! So even if you order an iced milk tea you will need to pull the aluminum tab to open your drink. Needless to say these travel well and look really cool too.
One issue I am sure you will encounter for anyone who has not committed the Mochinut flavors to memory. Namely, the Mochinuts are on display on the side of the counter. It's a very nice display with all of the Mochinut flavors labeled and visible. However you need to order your Mochinut at the front of the counter. They have a small handwritten list of the Mochinut flavors scribbled on a small piece of paper but it's not the same as seeing the Mochinut flavors.
I don't think the staff or owner understands this as when we ordered the person at the register was unwilling to move to the display so we could point to our selection (as everyone in any bakery since the dawn of time has done). Also from a brain perspective you are asking people in this case to switch between the right side (right side) and text (left side) text.
I think they could improve this specific shortcoming and increase speed of taking customers orders, decrease confusion and increase fun.
Maybe they need photos or wax replicas of their Mochinut flavors on the front of the counter, I don't know I'm not here to fix that but just give a short review.
This issue does not however change the wonderful flavor of the Mochinut or coffee so Mochinut is definitely worth a stop if you have not tried it.“

“We love it! Kids love the colors and variety of baked goods! Clean and friendly staff!“
“This spot was the light in the darkness. Late for your flight? Dunkin. Fast, good portions for prices, and nice folk running it. I had a grilled cheese pesto sandwich, 6 piece hash brown (which was wayyy tastier than I expected), and a chocolate Bavarian creme donut. 10 bucks, perfectly reasonable. After a long day, little sleep, and a rush to get something quick before my flight, Dunkin nailed it ?“

“This was a random place for me to visit, but I can see it was fate. The staff is very kind, the food is DELECTABLE, not to mention the very quick customer service. I’d come back over and over again. I’d also highly recommend to others too!“

“My sweetheart and I went here on our second date. The original plan was to meet at Dead King Bread in Manyunk, and then hike in the Wissahickon. Dead King was closed, however, and my sweetheart quickly suggested Roma Cafe as an alternative. I'm ashamed to say that I never knew about this bakery. When I think of Italian bakeries, I typically think of South Philly. This is the real deal. An interior that harkens back to earlier times, and probably owners that harken back to an earlier time!
It was here that I discovered that my sweetheart is extravagant with treats, especially sweets. As a bit of a minimalst, I chose a rather bland biscuit. He chose an array of half a dozen treats, including canolies.
When we eventually made our way to the Wissahickon, we discovered that we had each packed more treats for the hike - cheese, grapes. He brought the most wonderful brie from Trader Joes that was as soft and gooey as if you had baked it in the oven. I noted with approval that he was equipped with a good picnic bag, as was I.
As we walked through the Wissahickon, I was captivated by his friendliness to everyone we passed on the trails, including the dogs.
Everything was delicious, and I appreciated that the canolis were petite in size!“

“I stopped by yesterday and even though they were technically closed, they were kind enough to still let me grab a donut. That level of kindness and customer care really stood out to me. On top of that, the mochi donut was absolutely delicious—soft, chewy, and perfectly sweet. Thank you for going above and beyond, you’ve definitely gained a loyal customer!“

“I always have the best experiences at Federal Donuts. Today I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich which was so good I forgot to take a photo. I also had a classic vanilla sprinkle donut that was absolutely perfect.
During Phish’s Baker’s Dozen run at Madison Square Garden in 2017, the band played 13 shows with no repeated songs, and each night had a unique donut theme like coconut, powdered, or red velvet. As fans arrived, Federal Donuts gave out special donuts that matched the theme of the night, which often inspired fun setlist choices or song references. It became a beloved part of the experience and a sweet connection between Phish, their fans, and donuts.“

“I just came here around 11:30 1/27 and this woman (I already forget her name, so stressed about flying, I think Melissa. I think a higher level employee) made me a traditional cappuccino or Macchiato or whatever. I asked for all foam no milk with my espresso and she made the most beautiful coffee. So professional. 10/5 stars. Great job 👏 great price, especially for airport. I paid $6 for my drink which also had an extra shot.
Duncan needs to raise the limit on how much you can tip on a card because you have people out here giving excellent service.“
“I went here today for the first time and these are the BEST donuts I have ever had in my entire life. They have ALL different kinds of flavors. I was purchasing two dozen for some classmates and I got Boston creme, apple filled glazed, lemon filled glazed, jelly filled powdered, frosted with fruity pebbles cereal on top (amazing), bear claws, chocolate frosted, glazed, pink frosted, with and w/out sprinkles. seriously, they have it all. The price for one dozen is $10 which is solid for just regular donuts, let alone delicious and essentially gourmet donuts. Some shops would price boston creme or fruity pebbles at a premium just because of the cachet.“

“Personally, it is my favorite place to get my fruit smoothies. Very affordable prices for each of their sizes. Prices may change due to Democratic's inflation ??. But for now, their biggest cup is a jumbo size. And it's under $7. Also, love there, Lemon Jelly Donuts. The staff are very friendly and pleasant.“

“I've tried a few other dunkin in the neighborhood on uber eats and the order would be wrong or sandwich not cooked/melted all the way. I finally found this store and saw 5 stars so decided to try them. I was so glad I did. I've ordered quite a few times and it's always right, delicious and fresh! I decided to stop in today and every last staff was friendly and warm. I asked for the manager to let her know I order on uber and coming in just showed me even more why they deserve 5 stars ?. Keep up the great work!“

“Nice quiet atmosphere with very good service, hospitality, and food.“
“Very good coffee .it's right up there with dunkin As far as taste and quality...maybe even better. The prices are very reasonable and much cheaper than Dunkin so that's definitely a plus. Workers are friendly and respectful....This is my go to coffee spot , To top it off the donuts are actually better than dunkin and the breakfast sandwiches blows Dunkin out of the game ...Its pretty safe to say I will definitely be starting my mornings here prolly for a long time.“
“Five stars, you may be thinking “why?” especially by the way it looks. The employees of many of the places around there have been going for years, not only are they great for a quick cheap bite, no one has gotten sick, and the service even though is cash only has been great. Great breakfast and lunch sandwiches.“

“Very affordable place close to the subway. There is a little bit of a language barrier but their breakfast sandwiches are delicious. They have donuts, pretzels, hot dogs, bagels, breakfast sandwiches ready made, and they will make lunch sandwiches if you call in advance or wait. They will also custom make breakfast sandwiches if you call. Their coffee is decent. I think the quality is very good considering their prices are so low.“

“The Dunkin’ right off 95 in South Philly is my go-to. The staff here is super friendly, and I can honestly say they never mess up my order, which is rare these days. Whether I'm grabbing a quick coffee or something more, they get it right every time.
Plus, the spot’s pretty convenient—right near the Taco Bell, so if you're coming off 95, it’s an easy stop. It’s a solid Dunkin', and they keep things moving fast, even during the morning rush.“

“This is my neighborhood Dunkin, I've been going here for years. They've got conscientious, friendly staff, always quick with my order so I'm in, out and on my way. “When I walked in to pick up my mobile order, I noticed the only employee there on the floor on a prayer mat. I gave him time to finish his prayer and he stood up and asked if I was waiting for an order. After he gave me my food and coffee, I walked out, but just as I left I noticed he had put his prayer mat on the shelves where the mobile orders go. The mat had just been on the floor, and now was on a shelf that holds people's food. I am all for religious freedom, but store employees can practice their religion and keep a sanitary environment, too. He should have placed the prayer mat in a discreet corner where customers won't see.“

“It's the most HAPPENING place around. The morning shift is off the hook, and jumping! You have lines out the wazoo with the drive through, lines to the door, and personnel running orders to the car's from behind the counter. If they get an order wrong, they make sure on getting it right. The employees on all shifts are on point, down to earth, and are a joy to interact with.“
