“I usually come here alone because I like the process of cooking and the assortment. the food is always fresh and I have never had bad service. the staff is always attentive, they will change your grill in time and are always ready to help. I like this place. their range of sauces is also excellent and I can always make a mix of what I like“
“First time ever at kpot our waitress was so kind, so patient. I loved they had pictures of tasty sauces yu could make to go with the food. The kimchi was sooooo good & the spicy beef. We got drink on the way out & loved the bartender.“
“Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. I don't normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. Cutest little spot with amazing food. Their cheesy corn is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! Also the service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Our waiter Jin was so kind to us and made our entire night. :) Just annoyed I had to share it lol.“
“Christmas Day Dinner at So Korean Grill Restaurant.Absolutely pleasant surprise! Amazing food quality and portions!! Not to mention that their service was phenomenal!!!There were 7 of us(6 Adults and a child) entered at around 4pm and the restaurant wasn't busy at the time but soon after, all tables were filled w/customers. Lucky us! We ordered 6 portions of Pork Galbi and Naengmyun(cold noodle), a few minutes later Pork Galbi w/side dish sets hit the table and all of us were just...'WOW'....the portion and taste were way beyond our expectations. Throughout the dinner, a young male server and a lady(maybe the owner..)kept us feel super comfortable and served all the extra items promptly. We will definitely go back and try other Korean BBQ soon.“
“One of my favorite Korean restaurants for 3 years now, always good options and price, service is good. I love their bbq and hotpot option so much. They are the special hook, I tried their sashimi and it was clean and fresh too. Definitely recommend because their meat quality and food in general is really good and flavorful.“
“Nine Ting in Chinatown is a culinary paradise blending Korean barbecue and hot pot. The ambiance is a perfect mix of modern chic and inviting warmth. The Korean barbecue experience is a masterpiece, with melt-in-your-mouth meats and expert guidance from the staff. The hot pot journey offers a symphony of broths and a vibrant array of fresh ingredients. The communal experience around the bubbling cauldron fosters togetherness. What sets Nine Ting apart is the meticulous attention to detail, especially in crafting dipping sauces that elevate the entire dining experience. Leaving Nine Ting, I felt a profound sense of satisfaction. It's not just a meal; it's an immersive journey into Korean culinary excellence. Five stars feel inadequate -- Nine Ting is a gastronomic symphony that leaves you craving more.“
“The closest I can get to Korea in Philly!!! After living in KR for a year, I am always on the hunt for real Korean food that hits like back home and this is it. We got the stir fried pork and kimchi (김치제육볶음) and the hot stone bibimbap (돌솥비빔밥) and they were incredible. The kimchi and pork were so tender and flavorful. The owner is so sweet, she served us, chatted with us in Korean, and gave us extra hot sauce for the bibimbap!! Of all the Korean places I’ve been to in the US, this may be my number one. Cannot wait to come back!“
“Great Korean food! The pig neck bone hotpot is so good and we order everytime. If you have extra stomach, also order the pig strotter. Eat as is or stew with the hot pot, either way tastes so good! The restaurant is not the most decorated, but the food is definitely top-notch“
“My wife and I came here with our friends on a very cold and rainy ?️ night recently. It was very packed and warm and cozy in there. The food smells were appealing and we sat at the table readily looking to the menu for good Korean food.????I'm not sure what it was, we didn't commit to the Korean BBQ dishes and we got some of the appetizers and some regular dishes. The Japchae and scallion pancakes were really oily and seemed to be lacking flavor. My friend said their plate didn't hit it for them either. But on the flip side, my wife said she loved her Bipimbap. ???Service takes a hit because I ordered a soup dish but it actually never came. We were halfway through eating and a soup dish that late in our hangout was not something I felt needed to get added at that point. I'd equate it to being like an empty oasis that the rain missed ?️??, but it needed it to stay well filled and beautiful. It was a miss this time for me but I'd give it another chance on another occasion, if ever.“
“As soon as we got out from the parking lot, we could smell the barbecue. What makes this place special is that they use charcoal instead of gas. The waiter cooks the meat for you. The cooked meat was put on the side so that it wasn't overcooked. I picked beef tongue. Very short cook time because they were thinly sliced. I dipped them in the sauce that came with the order. Rich in umami flavor. The marinated beef and pork was well seasoned and not overly saturated salty soy sauce. They provide several side dishes but the portion was very small. The lettuce was fresh and big, perfect to wrap the meat. I ordered hot Korean tea. Unfortunately, they served the piping hot tea in a plastic jar. High risk of chemical leeching. It's not a BYOB , you can buy beer there“
