The Flavor Spot Reviews
ordered large oxtails which was over priced. 24 dollars for a wasted platter. rice was hard. such a small platter for 24 dollars. the container the food was in ripped when I tried to remove from the bag so most of the food spilled into the bag. oxtails weren't good so most of this platter goes into the trash.
Food was AMAZING!!!! Very tasty😋
So very disappointed at The Flavor Spot, not only are they not following the 6 feet social distance guideline for customers they have customers wearing mask improperly, there is a 30 min wait, it it suggested to call ahead but no one picks up the phone and voice mail is full. The Flavor Spot offers excellent food with friendly service and an upbeat atmosphere. The portions are generous for the price, featuring standout dishes like oxtails, Medium Jerk Chicken, and fried chicken. However, the rice and peas have received some criticism for being overly sweet, and customers have noted that the macaroni and cheese is a highlight. The dining room is charming and more spacious than it appears from the street, with ample seating in the back. While the music can be too loud for some, the overall experience remains enjoyable. Customers are encouraged to check the menu online since it is not available in-house. Some have expressed a desire for the return of the old chef and have found that the preparation time can be lengthy, so calling ahead is recommended.
