“We love that Black Lab is byob. Everything is so expensive these days so it's nice to save money on alcohol. Food was good...not gourmet but comforting. Portions are small so order an appetizer before entree if you are hungry. Service was excellent.“

“The restaurant definitely deserves its own review! The staff are fantastic and super personable. My wife and I were here for 31 days in April/May of 2022, and we had breakfast here almost every morning. We try to stay all-natural with food, and they were willing to work with us. We provided an organic Olive Oil spray, and they would use that on our omelets. They never made us feel like a hassle or burden, and we loved getting to know them, especially Rhonda and Trupti! At times they had nice Chobani Yogurt, and they always had great apple/orange juice options. They also had Franks hot sauce and cream cheese packs that were SOOOO GOOD on the omelets :)Can't wait to go back and enjoy the food and friends again!“

“Great place to go for a night out - the few times I've been here they've had a DJ and a small dance area with other options on the floor (shuffleboard and video games). The space is spread out so never seems packed enough to be uncomfortable. Bar serves great mixed drinks and a nice selection of beer on tap.“

I received a gift card for Liberty Union that was purchased in Kimberton and went to the Chester Springs location only to find out it can’t be use there. That should be stated at purchase so there is no confusion.“

I've been eating here since I was a kid. It's always lovely, warm and cozy. Whenever I was sad, without fail, my parents would take me here and I'd gorge on their soup bar and get a heavenly baked chicken pie to top it all off.

But recently, the recipe for the baked chicken pie was changed to use clumps of minced chicken instead of the incredible strips that used to give the pie the hearty taste I had grown so accustomed to.

I understand things change, but my heart aches for the old recipe. This is my official, desperate plea.“
