“Taipei is by far the best sushi and Chinese restaurant in the Fox Chapel area. The servers are courteous and the specialty sushi rolls are noticeabley larger and tastier than Jimmy Wan's. In my opinion, Taipei also offers a better selection than Jimmy Wan's. We also appreciate Taipei's complimentary fried wontons served before each meal and orange slices provided at the end of service. This family-friendly restaurant always make us feel at home.“

“The portion sizes were enormous so we had a ton of leftovers that fed us for a couple more days. The pricing was good considering how big each meal was. The steamed pork dumplings are not your typical dumplings that you order at a Chinese food restaurant. These seemed homemade, and were packed with yummy goodness. My daughter usually finishes an entire serving of dumplings easily, but these were so big she even had leftovers. The Hawaiian Fried Rice had a bit of a kick but not overwhelming, just enough to let you know it is there. The portion size for this was also big and it had good flavor. The Beef Chow Fun was also delicious, those noodles are so good and I had leftovers for days. \n\nThe waitress was also very attentive, filled our water a bunch of times and was very friendly.“

“I recently visited this Chinese café-restaurant, and I was really impressed! Their wonton soup and hot and sour soup are absolutely delicious—rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. The dish in the photo is orange chicken, which was incredibly tasty, especially with brown rice. Every bite was full of flavor, and the texture was just right.

Another great thing about this place is that they have an electric charging station, so for some people, it’s a great way to do two things at once—enjoy a delicious meal while charging their car. Overall, this place serves amazing food, and I highly recommend it.“

Highly Recommended: Salty Flowing Egg Yolk Bun, Steamed Fish (Bass), Char Siu (Roasted Pork), House Treasure (mixed vegetable and meat), Mushroom and Chicken Clay Pot Rice (the perfect mix of soft and crunchy rice with sweet and savouriness), Fried Pork Intestine (+ Spicy Fried Intestine with Preserved Vegetables), Peking Pork Loin (Sweet and Sour Pork), and the Seafood Pan Fried Noodles. I also love the Steamed Okra, and the Sufu Spinach.

“I have ordered/eaten at this restaurant more than 5+ times. I am local. My 1&only complaint - if someone orders more than 1 sushi roll (2+), we would love 2 pairs of chopsticks. My husband & I order atleast once every 2 weeks & we both love sushi but only order 1 sushi roll each because we order a dinner combo as well plus appetizer. If we could have 2 sets of chopsticks when we order 2 or more sushi rolls, that would %125 make our whole day“

“I can't say enough good things about this location, the food is always hot, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming, the women taking the orders and answering the phone are always nice and courteous. I've been ordering their food for 6 years now and I have never had 1 issue. “Tried Rice King for the first time and I’m glad I did. Ordered takeout of Hunan pork, vegetable lo-mein and steamed dumplings. Both vegetables and pork were very fresh and each dinner was seasoned as it should be with generous portions. The dumplings were large and savory.

I arrived few minutes early from pickup time given when I phoned my order to find everything ready and nicely bagged up. The owner greeted me when I entered and was pleasant to talk with. I’ll visit Rice King again.“

“I haven’t been here since before the Pandemic but I remember they had the best General Tso Tofu ? on my way home from work I use to order it and pick it up. The staff is really nice and friendly I need to go back. Great vegetarian sections.

“Amazing hot pot! This was my first time trying something like this and it was delicious. We had the tom yum and curry hotpot. It came with veggie, meat/fish sides that you cook in the broth. Kind of like an Asian fondue!
Their boba is ok, but the food is excellent and hit the spot on a cold rainy night!“

I was feeling under the weather and chef Jason took it upon himself to tweak my order to add in some more nutrients and warmness to ease my sore throat. He cares for the students while they are away from their families and also helps those in need. If I could give this 5 stars every day I would. Great job and thank you!“
