Nice atmosphere!!! Friendly staff
Stopped by on a quiet Saturday afternoon for lunch. Great service and the fries pirogies and pizza were great. My son (11) said they were the tastiest fries he had in a while. Golf baseball and word cup on the TVs

Mario's East End Saloon is a fun place with a relaxed environment, good vibes, and good music. The crowd is young, with many students from nearby universities. It is a great Bills backer bar. The bar has a good selection with great drink specials, including Yuengling for 2.75 per pint and Bells Two Hearted for around 3.50 a pint. The food is the best bar food in the area of Shadyside, and maybe even Pittsburgh. Burgers are excellent, with the spicy burger having perfect spice. The fries are really good. The pizza is thin and fresh and crispy, and the appetizers are fresh and filling. Service can be inconsistent; some servers like Tia are absolutely amazing and excellent, while other servers have been known to ignore guests entirely. The atmosphere is fun, and the location is heated. It is a good place to drop in without a fuss for a night out.
