“I don’t come to Pennsylvania very often and had never heard of a Roy Rogers. I stopped at the plaza on the turnpike and used the restroom first which was a complete disaster so I didn’t have much for the restaurant. But I must say the breakfast platter was awesome. There was so much food and it was really good. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast and a pleasant experience.“

“I hesitated to order a salad because I've been disappointed ordering them out lately. My salad today was excellent! I got the Cobb Salad with chicken. It was fresh and delicious! I will definitely order it again!“

“The best experience provided by Garret, a Carlisle history lesson combined with awesome samples of great beers and articulated exactly what to expect with each beer and food selection. He knows his stuff! If you like a bit of spicy try the Philly burger! We have never had a burger prepared that way and is the best we have ever had. The Turncoat stout was a complete surprise to this beer snob! Loved it despite it looking like a cloudy IPA. Loved the red coat and peanut butter stout enough to take some home. Thanks to Garrett we will be coming back to visit with friends!“

“The shakes are out of this world“

“Kim was my server for a Thursday night dinner. Her service was polite and efficient- such as warning me that I’d need boxes if I got the 2 for $25 as a solo diner. But such was my plan. XD
Kim checked in on me and didn’t make me feel rushed, which I appreciate as I love lingering in restaurants. She even called me back when I was leaving- I had forgotten my to-go meal on the table! Crisis averted!

Sweet Asian boneless wings- I ate them all single-handedly *gulp*
To-Go meal: cheesy Mexican chicken with rice, I forget the name, but the chicken was super moist reheated the next day. I’d ask for sour cream.
My meal: Salmon (you pay $6 more for this) with broccoli and potatoes. Flavorful and delicious. There were no leftovers.“
