“I never leave reviews, but I love their food here. Service is fast, food is great and reasonably priced. They always have utensils and sauce in the bag. Just had their small egg drop soup and an egg roll for lunch. The soup was excellent!! Came with the fried noodles. The vegetable egg roll was crispy and filling!!! It also had the sauce packets with it. I've been going here off and on since they opened and have never been disappointed. It's way better than fast food and it's consistently good. Actually, over the years it has gotten better!!!!!“
“absolutely the best Panera ever! I am under the weather today so I ordered delivery and left my driver instructions to leave my order on my porch because I’m sick. well the amazing employees saw that and left me a free cookie in my bag. so so so very sweet and made my whole day, thank you so much! ♥️“
“Omg the food is sooo GOOD my 10 year old son and I started looking around the neighborhood to see if we could spot an apartment to rent ! No joke !! Delicious !!!!!!! Please bulld where i live.. Western NY ! Im writing to shark tank players on Twitter to INSIST they help franchise this gemstone of a restaurant ! lol. ?“
“The location is an odd corner of downtown - but don’t let that discourage you! The owner is very nice, the restaurant is very clean, the food is authentic, and the ingredients are of great quality. We wanted to have a delicious meal before traveling to Korea for the first time and it was a perfect introduction. Thank you for a delicious dinner and all the well wishes!“
“Highly recommended!!!! The super, fresh and crispy fish and chips would be enough for 5 stars. But there was also the excellent service, the delightful and caring owner and the atmosphere in this historic restored stone house. We sat by the fireplace which was also something special.“
“During my week-long stay in Pittsburgh, I had the pleasure of dining at Maiku Vietnamese Pho, and it truly stands out as the pinnacle of culinary excellence in the city. I explored various eateries throughout the city, but none matched the impeccable flavors and authenticity of Maiku's offerings. The moment you step in, the aroma of authentic Vietnamese cuisine envelops you, setting the stage for a remarkable dining experience. Their Pho is a symphony of flavors, each spoonful bursting with freshness and depth, reminiscent of the streets of Vietnam. But it's not just their Pho; every dish I tried showcased a dedication to quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship.Beyond the exquisite food, the service is unparalleled. The staff exudes warmth and hospitality, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur of Vietnamese cuisine or a first-time visitor, Maiku Vietnamese Pho guarantees a culinary journey that will leave you craving for more.In conclusion, if you're in Pittsburgh and craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine, look no further than Maiku Vietnamese Pho. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience that will linger in your memory long after the last bite.Highly recommended!“
“Went there for Valentines Day.....first time there. Very quaint place. French Onion soup was delicious as was the Halibut. The service was spectacular and we did not feel rushed at all. The lemon sorbet was a nice touch to cleanse the pallet. We will be back.....hungry.“
“Every time I'm in a new city I like to find a good pho spot and this did not disappoint. The broth was so rich that I did not need to add a thing. The meat was very tender. The spring rolls were flavorful as well and tasted different from the many I've had before from other restaurants. The service was amazing, my waitress was so sweet and attentive. I am a pho lover and don't really write reviews but here I am.“
“Had the kung pao chicken dumpling and the shrimp tempura. The tempura batter was nice and crispy but unlike the Japanese tempura batter but still very tasty. The dumplings were soft and the filling was spicy and umami. It went with the dipping sauce well.“
“I was pleasantly surprised as well as impressed with this Deli. Their corned beef is home made… not lunchmeat. Their roast beef is home made… not lunchmeat. The food is EXCELLENT. Their staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is good! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS NEIGHBORHOOD TREASURE!“
“This is a great Mexican restaurant in the south side. We were there a few weeks ago. The place has a lovely vibe and the staff is very friendly. We ordered table side guacamole, birria taco, tamale and enchiladas and a couple of mezcal cocktail the food and drinks we ordered were spectacular.“
“The food was good (but not great), and the service was generally good, but I do feel like we were "checked in on" more than usual, which was a tad annoying. All in all, a good place for some standard American-Italian fare.Vegetarian options: I love the make your own with mushroom sauce and broccoli! They have some other options, but that's my go-to. Definitely harder to find good vegan options, but vegetarian is pretty decent“
“This place is amazing! Bruno and his staff are the best!!The food is fresh, fresh, fresh! The taste ? is Dynamite! I would highly recommend Mamma Meatballs! Don’t miss out! Even if you’re just driving thru town, be sure to stop and pickup some grubby for you and your family!“
“Hands down the best deli in Pittsburgh. Fresh ingredients and my order is always correct (and I have eaten here MANY times). Some may think it is pricey for a sandwich, but they use Boars Head meats & cheeses, Breadworks bread, and the sandwiches include a pickle and a bag of chips. I think the price is more than justifiable.“
“I’m very rarely downtown at lunch time, but every time I am, I look forward to eating at this place. A friend introduced me to this restaurant years ago and I’m so glad they are still around. It’s counter service and they only take cash (and FYI, they don’t accept the juror discount vouchers other restaurants in this food court do). Service is brisk and professional. My food was ready in just a few minutes.I always get the kyu-don, and it is DELICIOUS every time. It’s a pretty generous portion of beef, egg, and rice. I like it with the oil added on top to give it a mild spice. I’ve been tempted to try some of the other things on the menu — they all sound good — but the kyu-don is so good I just can’t not have it.I’ll be looking forward to coming back the next time I’m downtown!“
“Definitely recommend eating here or getting food to-go! I had just gotten in from a road trip at 12 minutes til closing and they were super nice enough to accommodate me with a to-go order. The food tasted pretty good (not amazing, but it's the end of the day and they gave me extra breadsticks instead of soup/salad). Portions are easily enough for 2 meals. The service was amazing and quick, and I was out of there before they officially closed. The people who worked there were very friendly. My only regret is that I tried to leave a tip for the cooks since I was there late and I learned that is their policy not to tip out cooks. I wish I could buy them a beer or something! Great place.“
“No buffet on Sundays, but they cooked us dishes to order off the menu. I tried a different kind of bread than our usual naan; this one is fried. Look out! There's a big jump in spiciness from mild (no curry) to medium. I found the mild flavorful enough, but my husband rued his decision to order medium. The entrees are large enough that we each took home half for lunch the next day, making the prices a steal. (He did have to add sugar to make his palatable.) Service was fine. We had the place to ourselves to watch the Indian music videos on the TV screen.“
“Had the best time here. Atmosphere was great, good was great, and our waitress was one of the best I have had in a very long time. I would highly recommend the lunch.Had the ravioli with Alfredo sauce with grilled chicken. Was awesome!! Plus the salad is always great with bread sticks.“
