“Don't let the small exterior fool you, what is inside is far beyond your wildest imagination. So much candy, even candy you've never seen or heard of. Relatively fair prices as well. Exotic drinks and snacks from all over the world. The employees are awesome. Always nice and smiling, very friendly.“
“Finally checked out Salt Box and I am so thrilled! This area has so many great shops and restaurants, so I was so happy to find a locally owned place to get a fresh pretzel. To my surprise, they have so much more! I stopped right before they closed, but the usually have stuffed pretzels, breakfast sandwiches, ice cream, and so much more! The Alabama Sweet Tea was perfectly brewed (from real tea bags) with just the right amount of sugar for this happy Southern girl! My pretzels even at the end of the day were fresh, chewy, and satisfied my snack cravings. I have had their pretzel bite boxes before during meetings, but I would have to say the cinnamon sugar bites are by far my favorite. The young man behind the counter was so quick, friendly and helpful. Plus, the prices are beyond acceptable so anyone can come in even on a limited budget. They do large trays of pretzel bites with sauces for under $40, so for your next meeting or tail gate, you need to check out Salt Box. See the pics attached for a cute moment of two happy "customers" enjoying their pup cup! We will definitely be back soon for a meal and coffee!“
“Sandy’s Scoops has been our absolute favorite place to visit in town. We love all of the flavors they have and the welcoming atmosphere. We’d come here every day if we could. We even come when it’s chilly outside because it’s too good to pass up!“
“So so so good! I was craving ice cream and we live 5 minutes away so I thought why not try some. It's really the best ice cream I've had. Good unique yummy flavors lots of choices and the ice cream isn't too sweet. We got 2 cones and a pint to go so I can snack on whenever I'm craving some. Expensive but WORTH IT! Worth every bit of it! It's like eating grown up ice cream. The flavors are so refined and it's not overly sickly sweet and full of garbage. I feel like I'm eating something worth the extra calories and it's not full of fillers and garbage. I tell myself it's "healthy ice cream" lol.“
“Went here today and had the "Frenchie" which I cannot recommend enough - almond, apricot jam and brie on a waffle. It was amazing. The waffle was sort of caramelized which just out this over the top. My mom got something that was like a waffle sandwich with ham and was raving about her lunch as well. So delicious and I can't wait to go back to try other things.“
“As advertised. The only downside is the location. Its on the corner of a major road. I have actually witnessed a car enter the parking lot and hit a parked car at high speed. I wish they would do something about the safety there. More of a pickup and get out type Rita's. Maybe add some poles to protect the parking lot.“
“LOVE Libby's! We moved to Pennsylvania from NY 5 years ago. I found Libby’s on our way home to Pa. The warm welcome we receive from Libby & her employees is so inviting & so are the chocolates. The chocolates are made on premises and they are so delicious. Libby also sells the old-fashioned candy that people in the 70s and 80s used to enjoy & still do! You can’t leave Libby’s without having a hot chocolate, so delicious! We drive 40 minutes to treat ourselves to Libby’s delicious chocolates & other goodies. You won’t be disappointed!!“
“February 2024: plenty of parking, quick and easy ordering, great service, around 20 awesome flavors, nice seating arrangement. Decadent scoops on a crunchy waffle cone. We had cashew caramel, blueberry lemon, espresso and black like my heart.Building looks nice as well. One side overlooks a bustling intersection and on the other a quiet cemetery.I can see this place getting busy during local school sport days and events. Will definitely come back soon.Parking: Google maps might take you around the cemetery but keep on driving inside.Kid-friendliness: There is a giant blackboard and chalk where kids can express their creative talents.“
“The baked goods are truly nothing special - not bad, but not standout. The staff tries their best, but it’s very unorganized in terms of service and checkout. They also don’t control the room, so lots of cutting and general entitled city folk behavior.Parking: Free on Sunday - usually lots of street spaces, just gotta circle a bit.“
“Tucked behind the Plumsteadville Inn is a little red barn called Chubby's serving up a variety of treats. Good ice cream, creative flavors, and rotating specials, the newest being a five scoop flight for the indecisive, and ice cream nachos for the creative. They usually have at least one sugarfree option, and a few water ice options as well. Indoor tables and outdoor picnic tables.“
