For some reason, the flavors are just so much better here also!“

“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

We go a few times a month and have never been disappointed. It's clean, well staffed, the serving sizes are generous for the money we pay and it always tastes great. “As always, the water ice is very good and I never have any complaints. Whether it's a small or large, it's always served packed well over top of the cup so you actually get more in your serving than you would think you were getting. There is only one problem which prevents this place from getting a five star. When you pay with a card, the electronic kiosk does not give you an option for no tip. 18% 20% 25% 40%, if you don't want to tip, you have to go to a completely different screen, and then just choose to pay the amount that your order has cost you. It's very confusing and I feel very presumptuous on Rita's part because, if I was sitting at a table and server came over, took my order and then brought my order to me at the table, then I believe a tip would be in order. When I have to get out of my car walk up to the front counter, waiting in line and then place my order. I don't feel that a tip is necessary. But they make it difficult for you not to tip and for that, you lose a star.“
