“Introduction:This was my second time coming to this particular location.Welcome:The hostess was nice and sat us immediately.Experience:We had a great waiter. She came to our table shortly after we sat down to get the drink orders and appetizers. We needed some clarity on some items on the menu and she took her time explaining and giving her recommendation based on what she had and what other guest ordered.Ambiance:It was clean, dim lighting, and spacious.Appetizer/Meal:For our appetizer we ordered Tex Mex nachos with our chicken, sour cream, guacamole, and jalapenos on the side, and fully loaded cheese fries (no bacon). The nachos were good but the amount of chicken given to put on the nachos was a skimpy. I asked why was it so little *chicken and I was told that is the standard amount. The fries were good but some were burnt at the tips. For my entree I had the Atlantic salmon, cilantro rice, and Caesar salad. My food was very good. My son had the Atlantic salmon, mac n cheese, and baked potato. He said he liked his food and he couldn't eat it all. My sister loved the chicken pesto ravioli ( I had this when I came before and yes it is delicious).*the chicken in the picture is the portion (untouched) we were given.Price:The quality/quantity of food (except the chicken for the nachos) was worth the price.Will return: Yes, I will return because overall their food and service is good but I would probably get the chicken on the nachos instead of on the side.Stars: Five stars overall despite the nacho issue.Tip: If you are one to get cold easily ask to sit away from the door during the winter months.“

“I just joined Five Iron Fishtown and I love it. The location is great and I love the vibes of the inside. The hours are perfect as I generally go to use the simulators before work in the morning and work on my swing or play a round. I’ve also had a few lessons with Senior Golf Pro Matt Davis and I can already tell my swing has gotten better. With the technology they have and following Matt’s direction I feel like I’ll be performing a lot better once I get on an actual course. Highly recommend.“

“Literally if you live anywhere near fish town Come here !!! My fiancé and I got the meatballs and ricotta for an app AMAZING tasted like moms meatballs .. we ordered and spilt the tagliatelle with filet and truffles OH MY GOD ! My taste buds are SCREAMING I am 100% Italian and know flavors but this right here MANNNNN best thing I’ve eaten in a long long time ! Bartenders are so attentive and the atmosphere is awesome !!! The staff is so friendly and was so communicative, really making me feel special and ensuring that the experience was great. “About a month ago I was at an outdoor event by WHS boys lacrosse. The place was full of adults and teens and very hectic. All the food and drinks that we ordered were handled quickly and perfectly. The assigned staff of Jessenia, Skyler, and Megan took care of us and all patrons with ease and professionalism, never showing a sign of stress. You are in good hands when they are on the clock. If you are thinking of having an event there, ask for this crew of bartenders.“

“Wow! We rented out the side patio for a small retirement party and it was so perfect! Bella and Barry took such great care of us all! From the nice space, to the delicious food, and of course the drink variety everyone had a great time! We highly recommend and will definitely be back :)“

“This is a place we frequent for comfort food. We recently went there for a late breakfast. We had Breakfast in the AM and Sunday Morn. Our server was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is that of a sports bar with TVs all over. The breakfast was good.“

“Your food is delicious and the place is really cool and chill it’s clean and it has a lot of good vibe. But the best thing about it in my opinion is the service two of the waiters were super nice and one they were both ultra pretty so I know this may not be possible but I’d like to meet with one of them if it’s possible.“

“Honestly this is a lil hood bar that you have have a good time in. It's across the st from the police station so i feel safe. Some of the bartenders are nice and there is one who is a mean thing omg. Anyway this day my shrimp was gross the beading beneath the fried part was not good. But baby the fried Buffalo chicken wings (fried hard) never fails. The lady in the kitchen knows what's she's doing when it comes to that and they even let you get all flats. Also i love that they have the bar game stillOn the bar one of the last bars who still has the games.“

“Got there after a tour of the penitentiary across the street, for a quick drink before dinner. We sat at the bar. Service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was good, considering it was a monday at 5! We were a bit hungry and ordered the sprouts from the happy hour menu, and they were warm, tasty and very well seasoned. Great small selection of draft beers, cocktails and hard liquor. Didnt try the mains but seemed good too.“

“Was here for dinner last night. Our very nice server recommended the Caesar salad w/hanger steak and it was excellent. The Guinness was poured perfectly. My friend enjoyed his French Dip sandwich and he is not easily pleased. There are ample TVs to watch the games and there was a full crowd of patrons and a good vibe.“

“Last minute dinner choice, and it did not disappoint! Wait, it was about 1/2 hours, so we sat at the bar and watched the Baltimore game! The bartender was friendly and made sure we were happy. Husband ordered prime rib, and I ordered an eggplant parm dinner special. Prime rib was HUGE and served with broccoli and baked potato. Even Mike, our bartender, said how big the piece was! Husband said it was delicious! Flavored perfectly! Eggplant was served with linguine - and the perfect amount. I prefer my eggplant sliced thin and with no skin. However, this was delicious! I ate the entire meal! It was served with 4 thin pieces of garlic bread! Added a few Blue Moon beverages, and it was a perfect night! Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures, but, let me tell you....delicious! Will definitely be back! Thank you, Chaps, for a great date night!“

“The best restaurant in Conshohocken. The wings and wing night deal is outstanding, but all the food is great. The burgers are some of the best we’ve ever had. Nachos and buffalo chicken wraps are also awesome. We love this place and can’t recommend enough. Atmosphere, food, and service is always so good. Super fun on game nights. “What a fun place! It turned out way better than I expected. This is our first time here but I think we will come back to try other menu items.The restaurant is much bigger than it looks from the outside. In addition to all the regular seats and a full bar area, there’s an arcade in the back and an area for axe throwing!Food presentation seems to be “cleaner” than other similar places. Their menu is on the shorter side, but it covers all the staples. My only criticism is about their soda glasses—way too small, only 8 oz, and the coke tasted really flat tonight.“

“Love this joint!! Great place to watch local sports games! After plans were canceled for my birthday due to family member getting sick my daughter and I had my b day dinner at Pj’s. Taylor was our server and she did a wonderful job!! Food was excellent and Taylor’s service was even better!! Ryan the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.I told him we were going to the Keswick and he asked me who was playing and we had a nice conversation .He put on Bob Dylan music and shared with me some documentaries he suggested I watch.The bar was full of people and you just had a feeling Ryan knew each and everyone of them.Our server was very friendly and helpful with recommendations when asked.Worth a trip to Glenside just to experience the atmosphere of this Pub.“

“This place is amazing. I lived in Philadelphia for a few years and would come here fairly regularly. I’ve never had an issue with staff. They’re all very professional, respectful, and kind including the security guards. The owner, Kyle, is such a breath of fresh air. I had an issue at a bar in center city and I remember saying, “Kyle would never!” and walking out. He genuinely cares about his guests which would explain why he hires such professional staff. The food’s really good and I’d never encourage anyone to drink but they do make really good drinks too. They have karaoke on Wednesdays and happy hour’s at the perfect time (6-9). 10/10 would highly recommend. It is more of a college bar so keep that in mind but they welcome all with open arms.“

“A friend and I went to The Greeks to watch the Phillies game and one of the worker that was behind the bar were being RUDE to us. We were sitting at the bar and (not even) 4 minutes into the game. He come to us and said; if you guys going to sit here, you have to order, than he added, I’m being serious. My friend and I both know that, but he DID NOT have to be rude about it by adding “I’m serious” at the end of that statement. Before the game even started, I told the other worker that was behind the bar that I would order a few minutes into the game.“

“Nice atmosphere but bartenders to be more attentive, waited 30 mins to get a beer. Two bartenders kept serving one side of the bar. Came to our side and served someone that just came up even after I asked the bar tender when you get a chance can you get my order. Maybe it was a fluke, I did when is busy I have worked in the service industry.“

“I really like this place. Food is excellent (specifically if you love ENORMOUS burgers), beer is good, and the people are really nice. I've had an order or two messed up a little, but no real harm done and the staff was always super nice and apologetic about it. CJ and Ecks is a big go to for me when I'm in the area. Wish I had gone more when I still lived in the areaParking: It's Manayunk/Roxborough, the parking sucks. It doesn't suck more or less than the rest of the Yunk or anything. Parking in this area just sucks in general.“

“Been here a few times and for a small neighborhood bar, it's really nice inside. People seem more friendly towards one another and the barmaids are really nice! They need a larger space downstairs because you always feel like someone is touching you, when ur walking thru.. food is very good here!!!“

Clean inside, great conversation from the locals,,, and Cassidy may be the best bartender in Philly… she was exactly what a bartender should be, engaging, kind and entertaining. “Depending on how packed and who's tending bar, the wait time for a drink varies- gotta be patient. The frozen "Henny" (lmmfao) colda--.. that's not Henny.. that's whiskey, trust me, I have my certification. Long story. But TuuuuMmmmm... Other than that- it's definitely a great place to go and have a blast. The Brazilian fiery haired bartender is a must see. She's cool ? Great place to chill out and play pool, if it's not crowded. “Castle Roxx is my go to stop. Every time I come I have a great experience. All of the bar tenders always are amazing and work so hard to make my experience the best in Manayunk. Eric and Vinny are two of my favorite bar tenders. They make even the slowest nights the most fun. I normally come during the week, as opposed to the weekends, and I never regret it.“

“This has become one of my favorite local spots in Philly. Family owned bar that has a kitchen behind the bar. Standard bar fare but they make it right in front of you. Every single person who works here are friendly, personable and welcoming.“

“The bartender was really nice, we ordered the pretzel with the cheese sauce ( I think the sauce could be better but it worked out), a cheese pizza, the chicken Philly cheese steak and the spicy chicken sandwich. everything was good and to our liking. “We held a surprise 60th bday party for our husbands (June 2023). The owner and event planner (Maureen) couldn’t have done more to accommodate us. They bent over backwards to make it a relaxed time. Their hospitality and decor was top notch. ??“

“Great bar to watch European Football. Atmosphere is top notch, and depending on the match it gets to be standing room only. Food was decent and the wings were really good. Fries are delicious as well. Good selection of beers on tap. Service is fast and there are plenty of TVs. Parking outside along the street. Definitely will be back.“

“My Barnaby experience was great and my family would love to go back soon. We will be back because it was clean, the food was delicious, and great service was amazing. For my restaurant review, I choose barnabys. I chose this place because it is right down the block yet I rarely go there. From the outside, it looks very nice. They have tons of parking so it was not a struggle to find a spot like most restaurants. As we were walking up the ramp and to the door I noticed a bees nest over the pavilion. While we walked to the hostess they were all ready for us to be seated without hesitation. My family of 5 was seated in a booth that had lots of space. The table was very clean with not one crumb. Unfortunately, I could not find the state grade but I would think it would be high from how clean it was. The bathroom was one of the cleanest I have seen in a restaurant. Within 4 minutes our server came up to us and took our drink order. I got a Sherliy temple and it was made perfectly, the ratio from Grenadine and Sprite was amazing. The drinks came out in 7 minutes of us ordering. Shortly after us getting drinks we put our food order in. I got a chicken Caesar salad wrap with no onions. The food came out 19 minutes after ordering. The wrap was awesome because usually the dressing can make it soggy but that was not what happened. The homemade dressing was delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection. Lastly, the lettuce was fresh.“
