“I love this place. If you are ever in philly you must try this Ghanian spot! If you like spicy this is the place. If you like rice get the jollof! My favorite is light soup with fufu. The peanut litter soup is bomb! Matter fact just eat everything. Only come if you have time to enjoy. Service is not typical of most American dinner time standards. Call ahead to ensure they are open that weekend! I wish they delivered via an app. But still worth going for the experience.“

“The breakfast is delicious!! I got the eggs, potatoes and hot sausage and the fried shrimp and grits. I felt like everything was good but the grits could have used more time. The potatoes were some of the best homefries I’ve had in a while. The flavor on the fried shrimp will be something to go back for alone! So glad I tried it out. I will be back. Normally go for the curry chicken and cabbage but now I can go earlier for breakfast too!“

“As someone who isn’t Jamaican or African and isn’t from the area, this cuisine wasn’t really my cup of tea personally, but there were definitely a few things I enjoyed. The jerk chicken and mac and cheese were really good, and the oxtails were good too. I wasn’t a huge fan of the rice or collard greens, but my cousin liked both, so it really just comes down to personal preference. The oxtail meal was $22 and came with rice and two sides, while the mini jerk chicken was $8 and came with rice. The portions are definitely worth the price, especially if you enjoy this type of cuisine. Overall, I can see why people who love these flavors would really enjoy this place.“

If you want chicken the jerk chicken is great and this is the only place i can eat all the beans and rice and cabbage . I also ordered Mac and cheese and that was good also . I went to this Jamaican restaurant for lunch and I ordered macaroni and cheese and corn bread and I noticed they had oxtail on their menu and I told they lady who worked there that I never had oxtail and I was told by my family and friends that oxtail is so good so the the lady asked if I wanted to order a platter I said no because I already brought fried chicken and I just want the Mac and cheese and corn bread to eat with my chicken so she was kind enough to ask me if I wanted to sample the oxtail and I said yes she then hand me a small cup with oxtail and gravy. OMG that oxtail was tender and falling off the bone. It tasted like beef stew and the gravy was AWESOME so awesome that I was licking the gravy off my fingers. I will definitely be ordering a oxtail platter from this restaurant in the near future. 😋“

Kid-friendliness: My son has milk allergy and I was able to get the Caribbean J*** rice lettuce tomato and the side dish of beans and something else and it was like under $25 and we got Mexican soda and a dessert we shared the Mexican soda but he couldn't have the dessert cuz it wasn't dairy free the whole family was able to share the largest dish so it was enough for the whole family“

My husband and mother in law had pepper steak rice & peas, cabbage the steak was so dry it was terrible very disappointing especially for the price. My daughter had stew chicken rice & peas, cabbage and it was just nasty she didn’t even eat it. I have always heard good things and finally decided to try it, it’s gonna be a NO for us. The guy that took my order was extremely nice.
