“Great homemade ice cream! I can’t have dairy right now due to my daughter having a cows milk protein allergy and I have been missing ice cream so bad. I tried his homemade vegan ice cream and it actually tasted like real ice cream! It was delicious. Thank you for thinking of others!“

“Awesome place to stop in for ice cream! Scoops were enormous and delicious! Tons of flavors. My buddy got a milk shake (which apparently they're known for) and said it was delicious.Lots of picnic tables to sit at outside as well as activities like arcade and nice looking mini-golf course. Highly recommend and definitely looking forward to returning for more of their ice cream! 2 scoops is plenty!! (though I got three :)“

“We come all the way from Massachusetts and always stop for ice cream and breakfast! The food is always so delicious and of course the ice cream! The staff is so nice and we love seeing them every year! We even get the best souvenirs to bring home! Johnny is hilarious and always so fun to have as our waiter! And you can't forget about Laura one of the most kind,caring person❤️! Be sure to check out the wall of pictures we are on there!! Till next year❤️“

“I bring my kids to Rita's, and we all really like it. The selection it's good, although my son always orders chocolate custard and I always order chocolate/ black cherry gelati. My daughter got adventurous with a unicorn ice.. too sweet for me, but she loved it“
“The staff here is really nice. I would say even as an adult with no kids there is a lot to do and I was able to spend 2 hours here. I think that everyone should do the make your own ice cream because it's just fun and informative. The free samples of ice cream and sweet to your definitely a plus. This is definitely good more towards kids but there's no reason that you can't have a good time here no matter of age“

“Thought I would see what this is all about when I was driving past. Asked about flavors that did not have any high fructose corn syrup in them and one of the kids at the register recommended their dragon fruit flavored icy. I was eyeballing the Gelatis, so I asked if they could make my dragon fruit icy "Gelati" style. Even on a cool day, the dessert was just what I wanted. The icy was refreshing and not too sweet. The custard, a wonderful creamy texture and also lightly sweet. Very happy with this experience.“

“On the night of my wife’s birthday, we found ourselves at the end of a long 4.5 hour car ride coming home, craving a special treat. We arrived just before closing (we know, everyone hates that) but employee Chris went above and beyond helping us out. He was patient, offered good suggestions, and hooked us up with a special blizzard complete with a lit birthday candle for my wife! If he’s not already shift manager, he should be! Someone give this man a raise! Thanks Chris!“

“The service depends on employees and how far you are sitted from bar. Locals get all the speedy service and conversation which makes waiting on our meals more irritating.“
“We came here after having a terrible experience at the one on Mount Rose. She was not only patient but nice and this store seems to actually have things especially the new items in stock. “After a certain number of purchases, you are entitled to a "free" cup. My "free cup cost me over $6. The "free"cup is up to a $5 value. The price is based on weight. We usually go when there is a $5 fill up. When the cashier said you still owe 6+dollars, I almost said forget it. By that point, it is difficult to just walk away. Suppose it was my own fault but I felt a little taken advantage . The Shrewsbury location will just give it to you, no charge. Perhaps, that has changed.I shouldn't complain for something free, right, but I can get a gut busting banana split for $6.50 at Mack's.The multitude of toppings and flavors makes for an excellent custom made dessert to your liking. Just sign up for texts so you know it is a $5 fill-up day. A family of 4 could easily spend $40 to $50 for an ice cream treat otherwise.“

“No frills and not fancy inside but the ice cream is always good so it works just fine. They seem to run out of certain ingredients every time we are there though, and then we have to pick something else from the menu... But it's always good so there's that. Overall pretty happy with this place.

“We just spent the weekend there with our daughter and her family. 4 adults 2 kids. Plenty of room for all of us. Our granddaughters were so excited to stay in the “ shoe house”. We reached out to the owners and had immediate response. Very welcoming and making sure your visit is the best. We visit Maple City Donuts but besides that we stayed and had a blast at the shoe house!! Love the way they have preserve memorabilia. Highly recommend this as a place to stay!“
