“Went last night with two friends for my birthday! I think our chef said his name was Gino! He was great and our waitress and the food was great! My only complaint was that the music was blaring so, we couldn't hear what anyone was saying and we really could even talk to each other!!! It took away from the experience since our chef was saying things that we couldn't hear. I did ask three different staff members if they could lower it to no avail. We don't think we will go back there again! We had to keep asking our waitress to repeat herself and that got to be exhsusting😣“

“Fantastic experience! So sad we are just now discovering this place. Some of the best sushi we've ever had! Expansive menu with something for everyone. Their sunken private rooms were a hit for our group especially with a baby that crawls! Well be back!“

“Incredible neighborhood place who punches above their humble surroundings. All of their food is fresh, flavorful and delightful. Rich ramen meals, great noodles dishes and I just had their sushi for the first time. man oh man, it was perfect: not overly done with rice, plenty of rich cuts of fish, fruits and veggies, and sauces that did not overwhelm. Light and full of flavor. And their seaweed salad? Addictive. Go, or order to take out……you can’t lose.“

“Great food, cozy atmosphere. Food is brought to the table in authentic dishes, which enhances the experience. My family gets ramen, never a disappointment. The sushi is so beautifully cut and made with the best ingredients. I have a gluten issues, their gluten-free temperature is the best, so crispy, not greasy, and perfectly cooked. Umami is a perfect blend in everything we have eaten.“

“Had lunch there yesterday. The pork gyoza were delicious and so were the three rolls we ordered. The AAA roll is one of my Ooka favorites. Food arrives quickly and the wait staff are so friendly and polite.“

“Came here by myself shortly before 5pm on a weeknight. Opted for the All-You-Can-Eat Sushi menu ($29.99 per person, before tax) and had a great time. Not very crowded, service was fast, the sashimi and tempura was fresh and delicious. Friendly staff. Overall calm atmosphere. All the seating are booths fit for 4 people, so keep this in mind for larger parties.“

“Yokohama offers a variety of selections, from Japanese food i.e., sushi, hibachi (sorry, no chef show), bento boxes to Thai and Chinese food all in one place. The food is excellent, sushi is superb with super fresh fish, portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and the service is outstanding (ask for Chloe, she'll take good care of you). Don't be fooled if you find the place with only a few patrons. It's a hidden gem. The restaurant may not be elegant but you won’t be disappointed with the food quality, pricing, service, and cleanliness of the place. Never a wait either. Highly recommended!“

“Been there twice and each time the rolls Ive tried are tasty. Even when it was busy and lunch time had more guest, the wait for the tasty delights were served in a timely fashion. The place is clean, easy listening music plays in the background. Will definitely visit again in the future.“

“Wild Ginger 2 is one of my favorite spots, and I always make sure to visit whenever I’m in town. The family is wonderful, welcoming, and always makes the experience feel personal. “This is a hidden gem for those that appreciate Asian or Japanese inspired dishes. I'm on a low carb diet and ordered a bowl without rice. The friendly employee suggested placing the meal on a salad and it was terrific. I will definitely be back for more! The prices are a bit more economical than typical sushi or hibachi restaurants. They are take-out or delivery only.“
