“First time visiting on a Saturday morning and everything was wonderful. It was just starting to get busy, but we were seated immediately. Service to our table was prompt and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Atmosphere was awesome. Everyone was pleasant and attentive. My wife and I had a great time. It got busy, yet everything ran smoothly. “Love this spot. Just moved to the area and already addicted to the apricot tart. Ordered the Classic on a Croffle (croffle was a bit too greasy in combo with the hash brown for me) with provolone, sausage and avocado, garlic aioli and tomato bacon jam on the side (tomato bacon jam wins hands down: Sweet & Savory). London fog with oat milk was steamed great with a thick layer of foam that didn’t make it home. My only issue is there is not enough seating and nowhere convenient to wait for your order, just feels like standing in the middle of the room blocking the menu.“

“I saw this place on social media so wanted to check it out. You have an amazing idea here. I thought the Z thing was only for the menu but they have their employees substituting Z’s for everything. It’s funny, it’s an experience. Great customer service IMO.Y’all need to update your address or business page on google maps, this location shows one place. I saw another location on your website, this review is for the truck at 3400 Fox St. I’m not even sure what this business page address is for. Maybe this is an old location?Onto the chicken cheesesteak. I got one with fried chicken tenders inside, lettuce, and I think they put some kind of hot sauce as well. The bread this comes on is incredible. If you want anything HEALTHY, DO NOT come here, I’m reading that it’s deep fried bread. Whatever they do to it, I could’ve ate it alone. The fried chicken inside is seasoned well. It’s kinda too much and falls apart as a result but who cares, eat some first with a fork then eat the rest. I got fries here but they were just okay. I want to come back and try something else.“

Please keep in mind that I don’t even like meat and I’ve been struggling with anorexia for decades. So it’s very difficult for me to eat anything unless it’s super fresh and extraordinarily tasty. This place is a true gem and treasure.Service was outstanding, The owner-host made us feel immediately welcomed and at ease. She let us customize our order and was very prompt with our food. They serve traditional café fare here, as well as signature flavored lattes, craft coffee drinks, and many cocktails with a coffee or tea twist. Every week, there's also a new special on the menu. “We’ve tried all the Ethiopian food in this area and this is the one that keeps us coming back. The food is sooooo good. Service is a little slow but every time we’ve been there it’s only 1 guy working and he’s working hard. “Met a friend for breakfast as Apple Walnut Cafe was halfway between where I live and Swarthmore. It's a super cute diner-like atmosphere with very friendly wait staff and an extensive menu with all kinds of eggs, french toast, pancakes, and lots more. I enjoyed my blueberry pancakes and my friend enjoyed his eggs. It's a solid choice for breakfast and I look forward to trying other items on their menu in the future!“

“I’m Moroccan, i went to this Algerian café restaurant Yesterday to meet a Tunisian friend the place was nice and clean beautiful space n welcoming service, i tried a Merguez sandwich served with black olive and homemade french fries and is was delicious. “Wow, what can I say besides fresh and tasty. If you eat on the healthier side, this place is a great way to treat yourself. Healthy food cost more, I think the prices are actually pretty reasonable when compared to something of lesser quality. I’m usually outta there between $10-15 but I never only get one thing haha. Try it out for yourself. You’ll feel great. Ps Highly recommend the Unicorn bowl, took a chance on it and it ended up being my favorite.“

“I’ve been meaning to try this place for awhile and I’m glad I stopped in! Very friendly and accommodating staff and the owner was so welcoming and kind. He spent the time to greet my baby and me and even made a complimentary Greek yogurt and fruit dish for my baby. The food was so fresh and delicious. The coffee was very good as well. “My two friends and I didn't make a reservation for Sunday Brunch, but we were seated at the counter after about a 5-7 minute wait. All of the other seating was taken. Our orders were taken pretty quickly. I had the egg and cheese croissant with turkey bacon with a side of "homies" (breakfast potatoes). One friend had the "Three the Hard Way," which was eggs, bacon, and French toast. The other friend had the blueberry lemon French Toast and fried whiting. For beverages, we had the Blueberry Lemonade and Peach Lavender Lemonade. We also tried an order of the Cornbread French toast! Definitely get that! Everything was so delicious. The prices were reasonable for the portions, and we even had leftovers. Felt great supporting a black owned business and would definitely dine here again!“

“Yesterday morning, I stopped here for breakfast after seeing they offer vegan options on Happy Cow, and it hit the spot. The cafe was clean and organized. The staff were very friendly and fun, and even though there were several guests before me, I didn’t have to wait long. They have plenty of outdoor seating and a few tables inside. I got a spiced coffee with oat milk which was really tasty, and a vegan Philly muffin breakfast sandwich with hummus. I was very satisfied with the amount of food I received and the flavors. The everything Philly muffin is the way to go! I decided to grab a vegan scone on the way out which made for a delicious fika in a nearby park later. “I came here because Blue Owl wasn’t open today and was completely blown away by the croissants and hot chocolate. We tried every croissant they had available today (chocolate, raspberry, cherry/cheese and plain) and all were top notch. I don’t normally drink hot chocolate but decided to try it based off of other reviews and it was also insanely rich. Id highly recommend ordering one and sharing it with 2-3 people as it is really thick and rich. Prices were spot on where they should be ($3.50-$4.00 for a croissant). Inside had plenty of seating. I didn't think the drink special options were too interesting at first but I ended up enjoying my pistachio rose latte $6 a lot. There weren't that many pastries left, lots of bagels and croissants but not as many other things like tarts. The raspberry almond tart for about $4 had a very good bite to it. I would eat a huge one! Seating was limited, no wonder since the quality and price is solid! I liked the music taste as well. Didn't need to wait long to order or receive my order. Area is kept very clean. Need to pay for parking in the area, parking on the street with quarters is more worth it than paying for the lot in the back.“

“A small, very chill and relaxing hookah spot. They play music and have multiple tvs that play mostly sport, but if you want to watch something else they can change it for you. Like most hookah owned spots - they don't sell food or liquor. But feel free to bring them in? They only sell soda, water and hot beverage option. Very good prices for hookah in west Philly ? about $25 minimum and that's decent compared to the ones in the city.“

“Where to start!!! I happened to be at Upper Darby HS this morning doing a favor and decided to see what Yelp recommended near me. There were the usual (Tank and Libby's....Sabrina's....Kettle....etc), but I'm a common guy by nature and wanted to get back to my corner, neighborhood diner roots. All these fancy places starting me to talking with a Main Line accent when I grew up in New Castle.... lol.... This place showed up, and although there weren't many reviews, they were all excellent. Plus, looking at the pics, this was the vibe I was looking for. Walked in and was greeted by Patty and Marla. Within 5 minutes, they made me feel like a regular, when I had never even been there before. I ordered a cup of coffee while I checked out the menu. I NEVER would've expected such a great cup of coffee from a corner spot. It was worthy of La Colombe. For breakfast I decided to have the 2XL egg mixed grill. This included...... get this..... two scrambled eggs (i added cheese), home fries (I added peppers and onions), two slices of thick slab bacon, two pieces of sausage, two slices of ham, and one piece of scrapple and toast on the side....... All this...... for only $11.95. While I was eating this hearty, delicious meal, in walks the owner, Jason. Young man is doing the damn thing. Owns this diner and the mechanics shop across the street. Very personable. So many of our young black men are out there doing positive things like this and you don't hear about it. I'll tell you this. I live 40 minutes from here but I will support and promise to have my a** in one of those chairs at least once a month.“

I appreciated the time taken to create each of the whimsical desserts like the polar bear vanilla mousse cake and the mango mousse cake. My favorite was the mango mousse hands down! The mango mousse had delicate layers to it. It was not overly sweet and a nice portion size. At nearly $10 for one, I think it is worth it on special occasions. If I were to go again, I would just buy multiple of the mango mousse. The polar bear cake was my second favorite. The mousse is very light and smooth. The least favorite was the hazelnut cake. It was a bit too dry for me and not nearly as good as the mousse cakes.“

“We visited Philly, and our hosts recommended this local coffee shop. It's a cozy space that fills up quickly, and business is brisk on the weekends. You may have to wait for a seat, and the order takes about 5-10 minutes to fill. Wonderful if you are not in a rush. There is an interesting mix of people, from the homeless guy angling for a free coffe, to the serious millennials on their laptops. Dogs are welcome as well, so it's a fun and lively atmosphere. Unfortunately, we saw that their celebration sheet cake didn’t come in the Blueberry Yogurt flavor. But then we thought what the harm was in asking if they could do a custom cake - and Diana at the University City location was willing to help us out. We ordered two Celebration Sheet Cakes that she and her team customized with the blueberry yogurt icing for us. We also ordered a smaller Blueberry Yogurt cake for our cake slicing pictures.On the morning of the pickup, I was freaking out (pre-wedding jitters and all) and showed up 30 minutes early for pickup. The team at this location was so sweet and patient with me. They even offered me a drink on the house and a staff member helped me load up the cake into my car.At the wedding, a family friend who doesn’t eat any sweets had TWO SLICES (compliment of the highest degree). Everybody loved the cakes, people were asking where we got them, and we were so happy with our decision to go to this location.“
