“I never write reviews but I ordered a gumbo from this restaurant that made me sit up straight in my chair and my hairs stand on end. Maybe the best gumbo I've ever had, counting multiple visits to New Orleans. I've had their shrimp and barbecue and everything is great. Folks working there are friendly as well. I don't know why there isn't a line out the door every day. The food is legit.“

“Want to give a shout out to Donna, who served us today. She was the sweetest person ever, very patient and kind. Pret a Manger has a good collection of fresh sandwiches, and the coffee was great, too. I know this review will not matter to a lot of people since it's only a cafe. But in the world we are living now, ppl are not that friendly and nice when they are behind the counter serving. So if you are in the Phili area close to Drexel University, you can stop over at this cafe for a quick coffee and bite.“

Without a doubt, the best macaroni salad you’ll ever have. Tasting it brought me back over 10 years and the hoagies are still the best! I bought lunch today for my contractors doing a training meeting and all of them were ecstatic with the quality of the food and half of them never even heard of this place which made me sad but now they’re gonna be regulars. We got an Italian Panini, Roast beef hoagie provolone cheese, Hot roast beef extra American cheese, Italian hoagie, turkey club no tomatoes on rye bread, Trio special add mortadella, & an Italian tuna.
