“Went on for the first time on a Monday night. Food choices were very good. Service also very good.We ordered the Ikamaruyaki (grilled squid) appetizer which was very good. For dinner we ordered a sashimi platter and Unagi-don bowl. Both were very good as well. Will return in the future when we are looking for Japanese cuisine.“

“The staff was friendly and service was good but the place was so empty the atmosphere was kind of awkward. The Yellowtail Jalapeno and Shrimp Shumai were delicious. I also got the seafood ramen and while it wasn't bad it wasnt good. The vegetable broth was the best part, the mushroom, crabmeat and scallops were good, the fish cake looked cool but had no flavor and the Shrimp were awful. They were clearly thawed frozen shrimp and they were hard and just gross. I would not order this again but I would try a different ramen on the menu.“

“We had a great experience at Hakata! The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was attentive but not intrusive. It was a bit cold at first, but they kindly moved us to a warmer table without any problem. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. This would have been a five star experience for me had it not been for the poor service. No one came to ask us if we wanted to order a drink while we waited for the last member of our party and it took a good 10 minutes for anyone to take our drink order after that person did arrive. We ordered apps at the same time since we had been waiting. Apps came out super fast, but no one came to check on us or take our dinner order. In hindsight, we probably should have ordered our dinner at the same time as the drinks and apps. After finishing our apps and still waiting for our server, we finally flagged down another server to find her so we could order. While she did come back to check on us once after food was delivered, we spent most of the rest of our dinner having to flag her or another server down every time we needed something, including the check. I'll definitely give Takumi another chance because the food was so good, and hope for better service next time.“

For a main dish, I got steak ramen and it was the best ramen I've ever had. My boyfriend loved his bowl (forget which one) too. Service was great and prices were fair. Highly recommend going here.“

“I come to this shopping center all the time but this is the first time this store was open while I was there. We ordered a variety of 2 cooked and 2 raw rolls and all were a hit. Crunchy Dragon roll is my favorite! The sushi here is so fresh and delicious. I was thoroughly surprised and impressed. I will definitely be ordering party platters from here in the future. Fyi, the menu and phone # to order ahead are on the wall outside.“

“Ever since we discovered Bonjung we can’t get enough of their delicious food. My husband and I have gone there three times in the past 10 days. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Can’t recommend it enough. They knew it was my birthday on Saturday and I got a complimentary fried ice cream.“

I’m so glad I found this restaurant. I have phenomenal sushi and an amazing hibachi dinner meal. The service was phenomenal. The sushi was fresh. “Went on a Sunday night around 5pm and wasn’t that busy (there was no wait). The chef was super friendly and had such a positive vibe about him! I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious.. the soup, the salad , the whole meal! I wish I got the chefs name but he was so great! The rice was outstanding! We ordered sushi as an appetizer (chicken tampura roll) that I would say was ok but my friend ordered the lobster tampura roll.. out of this world! The portion size was hugeeee so I didn’t have any room for desert! Overall a great time and will definitely be back in the future! The food is a little pricey but we’ll worth it! Ps: the picture is the good I took home with me!“

“I used to go to this restaurant prior to COVID a few times a year. They have great sushi. Today for lunch we got there around 2:15 we weren't aware the restaurant shuts down the kitchen at 2:30 for staff lunch break. We ordered quickly and everything came out really great. I ordered a sushi sampler and the hot seafood curry they were very good. I would definitely recommend this place and would go back when I'm in the area. Sorry no photos I ate the food too fast.“
