“Well, this place isn't what it used to be. I would drive at least 8 miles just to get your food like I did today. And got a cheesecake scramble eggs or cheese. Extra onion and with sauce but it gets me. I was in the store a whole time and did not even see them make it. And that kind of bothered me. But when I get have bought a the grocery store and get more meat for less money. I'm kind of done with this place. I'm not getting what I used to get. And I don't mind paying the prices. But when I know I'm not getting what I paid for and I know what I used to get. I'm been doing with them for close to. We'll still 1516 years.And now I feel like I'm being Ripped off but it's up to me to correct that“

“This is a fabulous local restaurant and if I lived in the neighborhood I would be there at least twice a month. ENVIRONMENT The restaurant is relatively easy to find and seats no more than 5 or so people in the shop. The wait was a tad excessive which I credited to the food being "made with love". FOOD I love a good piece of focaccia! Another contributor commented that their pizza can be likened to focaccia which I would find to be incredibly accurate. The "Detroit" style was incredibly flavorful accompanied by a heaping of toppings(I settled on the "I'm A Boss"). I will admit the fries left a bit much to be desired but not enough to influence my rating. “I came here for dinner with my husband after going to the King of Prussia mall. We had a caprese salad and mozzarella sticks, followed by two 12-inch pizzas. Everything was delicious. The pizza dough was light and flavorful; the ingredients tasted fresh. I am particular about my tomatoes when it comes to caprese salad, and the tomatoes here were juicy and again, flavorful. The service was warm, and the "family spirit" of the restaurant was obvious. The owners / workers there clearly take pride in what they do. Overall, we would return for the good food, warm atmosphere; and reasonable price point. As a bonus, downtown Wayne is very charming!“

“In tonight again after some time away, sitting at the bar, Elvis the host offered a warm friendly greeting at the door. On Friday night Andy is bartending, friendly and great service. The location is excellent in the 1400 block of Chestnut in Center City Philadelphia. Just around the corner from mass transit, city hall and many things you will enjoy, It's connected to the W Hotel. The dining room is comfortable but the music is sometimes loud and generic like elevator music. On a Sunday morning Joseph G. was my server and he too was friendly and attentive, there were very few customers in. The menu is limited but you will find something for everyone. For Dinner on Friday I had Risotto with butternut squash, it was good, not strong flavor of the squash. On Saturday I enjoyed the meatballs, they were delicious and full of flavor. I have heard a number of guests mention how they look forward to coming to Philly end enjoying their meatballs. Multiple nights I enjoyed the TORTA AL CIOCCOLATO it is covered in chocolate ganache, comes with pistachio crumbles and pistachio gelato. This is in my opinion, the BEST dessert in Philadelphia. The staff from the door to the bar to the dining room and management is excellent, focused on your individual experience making every visit memorable and a special occasion.“

“Food is really good I got the fettuccine Alfredo, I got a small pizza half pep that they forgot to deliver with door dash. And a cake … my dasher went out of his way to go all the way back to the store which he didn’t have to do. But a hour later we received the pizza cold as ever but it was still good. I just wish the pizza store would have cooked us a fresh pizza since they forgot to give it to the dasher. But other then that I will be back in person for more food“

“I ordered a plain cheese pizza for take out on a Sunday afternoon. I had to wait 25 minutes but it was worth it. Like most places in the city, parking options are very limited. When I walked in to their shop I saw several happy customers eating away, enjoying their food. The place seats about 20 people. Nice low key , no frills, South Philly Italian pizza parlor vibe with very good food. It beats standing in line at Angelo’s.“

When I got there to pick it up, he told me he made a second pizza because he thought the first one wasn’t round enough! So, he gave me both pizzas for the price of one! “Fantastic beers! Keen (a dark mild) and Gully (IPA) are personal favorites but they have sooo many different varieties from sours to porters. Also love the wine, particularly the Pinot Gris, and my sister enjoyed the Riesling. The pizza is delicious, love the mushroom pizza and they usually have some kind of yummy special. The buffalo wings have a great heat and are juicy with plenty of meat—I don’t even like wings but these are ones I crave. Lots of veggie options, too—salads, yummy fried artichoke app, and pizzas. “As a cheesesteak enthusiast, I was anxious to try the "Jawn" advertised as a pound of prime ribeye on a freshly kneaded roll with caramelized onions and Cooper Sharp. The roll was fresh and warm, and yeasty, but more like pizza crust than the high end Italian rolls one finds at the best cheesesteak joints. Onions were perfect. Cheese was kind of skimpy. The beef was high quality and free of gristle..but a POUND? Maybe 8oz. MAX before cooking. I've eaten several pound steaks, and this ain't one. Fries were very high quality frozen, served piping hot in a cute mini fry-basket. Wife's wings were crispy and didn't get soggy in the plentiful hot sauce. Drinks are very reasonable and staff attentive and friendly. I guess the "Jawn" is a kind of novelty, and the price may reflect the beef grade as opposed to weight. Adorable atmosphere. I'll return, but try the Italian dishes where I suspect they excel.“

“Great new interesting option at a local family run Pizza Shop. They have added Birria pizza to the selection, it's like "Sunday Dinner at Mom's on a slice" it is a very flavorful slow cooked pot roast type beef on pizza crust with excellent flavors and if your over 50 it is likely to take you on a journey back to Sunday dinner at home when you were growing up in the US. It is served with a unique au jus dipping gravy. I still find the dining room uncomfortable, the music and tv is always tuned for the staff not customers and the tables almost all rock and don't match up to each other or the booths well, you have to sit on cracks and such. Also the temperature in the dining room is always a comfortable for the kitchen staff even if you as a customer need gloves and a hat to sit and eat. Tables rarely get wiped. The staff is all pretty nice and the location is convenient to city hall, love park, and transit. I highly suggest you try this today! Take it to go!“
