It's an extremely busy place so you got to deal with the you know the girls racing around and I am not having the most welcoming attitude at times. “On the last day of my visit to Somerset i took my friends Donald and Sharon Kruger to their "favorite restaurant" for their 8th anniversary which was a blast mostly because of how well we were received at this restaurant...the wait staff is charming and efficient, the food is a 9 out of 10 and the owner even dropped by to congratulate the lovebirds...i was so enamored with the ambience that i took videos...blessings!”

“What a great find! Prices amazing, food delicious, staff friendly and personable! Joe's Raspberry Tea is the way to go. Burgers, fried Zucchini, cheese curds, onion rings all big portions, ranch delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better stop for lunch! Even eating at the picnic tables outside are shaded and on a hot day was cool. Go around the side of thw building to order.”

“Stacie’s is such a golden spot in Somerset! From the weekly lunch features and salad bar, to the desserts, she never misses. Stacie is incredibly accommodating to my gluten allergies and has tons of choices for gluten free folks! Most GF options taste just as good as the regular ones! My personal favorite is the cake cups. Aside from the great food, I’ve never had a bad experience with customer service! The prices are fair and each person working in there has a heart of gold and a big smile each week I stop in!!!”

“I know that this is not the old Oakhurst. This is a different experience. The old place was good and it is still good now, just different. I had a good burger. The fries were real good and my wife enjoyed their lasagna. The staff were very friendly.

Do not compare it to what it used to be just enjoy it for what it is. Also, the staff does not need to hear you tell them how it used to be. They know.”

The pizza was amazing! We ordered a pepperoni and a cheese, and both were big hits. The sauce has a sweet flavor, but not in a bad way—it’s actually really tasty and unique. Slices weren’t exactly even, but honestly, we didn’t mind once we started eating. 😄

We also tried the jalapeño poppers. They were okay, but super small and seemed like they may have come from a frozen section. Only four come in an order for $6, so I’d probably skip those next time.

The pizza, though—SO good. We even ate the leftovers the next day and still loved it. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area! 🍕”

“I stopped early this morning and the guy stumbled upon his words in the drive thru, we had a good laugh about it. Picked up my coffee and we laughed some more, he made my whole day, he was so nice! I didn’t catch his name but he said he had just transferred here from Florida. Thank you, for making my day and being so nice!”

“The young man at this subway was genuinely nice from the bottom of his heart. Just truly honest and nice. The subway out by walmart in Somerset, PA, as far as I'm concerned can close its doors. We stopped there once and the boy working there was so nasty and rude that we just walked out. No wonder I never see cars there”
