“My family and I had an incredible dining experience tonight at Umai. We had a special, Kinmedai aka Golden Eye Snapper that was so fresh and tasty, out of this world good! We also had a treat with broiled tuna cheek that was also outstanding. Otoro was so velvety and rich, spicy hotate, sweet ebi, unagi, fried crabs, incredible sushi rolls, savory Akadashi (my son ordered a second it was so good) and everything else we ordered tonight was just incredible. Thanks so much to Rae and his wonderful staff for one of the best meals I've ever had - the best sushi in this area for sure and such friendly excellent service to accompany it! 🙂 Thanks for such wonderful hospitality and all the extra goodies Rae. “Just moved to the area, this was our first time here. The sushi was good and crab rangoons were so crispy! It’s been a while since I’ve had good crab rangoons anywhere in Philly. All the dishes we saw served, along with our own, were colorful and creatively decorated. Our service was fast and all the staff were attentive and kind. I was surprisingly quite full by the time I got to the last piece, so don’t underestimate the quantity! I would definitely recommend coming here to try their katsu! Very delicious and unique.“

“It was my first time eating at Osaka Hibachi and I was very pleased with both the meal and service.
I ordered the chicken and salmon hibachi and both meats were tender.
The vegetables were cooked perfectly.
The rice was also cooked well.
My only con was the teriyaki/ hibachi sauce was a tad bit salty. Other than that- great experience and you get a lot of food!“

“Favorite sushi place! We came from out of state because we love this restaurant so much. We've come many times, usually dine-in but also once to go. The sushi is very fresh and tasty, and reasonably priced. We especially enjoy the sweetheart roll, Godzilla roll, rose roll, and new rainbow roll! Pleasant staff and lovely atmosphere, as well. Can't recommend enough!

“I really like the food at wild ginger 2. The sushi rolls, spring rolls, and green curry are fantastic. I only dislike the takeout process. It took 55 minutes to fill my order one time and when I went to pick it up, the ladies at the front looked confused. They didn't have my order ready and I waited as orders after mine were picked up. I was hoping they would discount my order for the mistake but that did not happen.“

“We have been ordering sushi here for years. Tonight, I decided to switch things up and try the hibachi. Did not disappoint!! Truly some of the best take out I have ever gotten. The tray was loaded with food, and you get soup or salad along with fried rice. I did chicken and steak hibachi. And will continue to order that.“

“Very friendly staff. Food was not bad, just not really the way I like it. Crab rangoons were mostly just cream cheese and I wasn’t a fan of the dipping sauce, the chicken in the general tsos was soggy, the wonton soup was decent! Overall, not my favorite, but I’d eat here again.“

“My Mom and I went for lunch, and we were impressed at the lunch specials. They included a soup, drink, and lunch portion of your favorite combos. I believe we added an on an egg roll. Perfect amount of food and very tasty. I enjoyed the beef with broccoli special with fried rice. The shop is now available for dine-in again, but they do a ton of takeout, and the pricing was very reasonable.

I would recommend checking them out! I will be coming back because I want to try their sushi menu. There were sushi lunch specials as well.“

“I remember Hibachi at this location in its Heyday 25 years ago. The decor is essentially exactly the same, and the crowds have gone. They have a minimum stuff but the food is still tasty as ever. The Chef still does Flame tricks at the Grill. Hope they stay around for 20+ more years & hope that people start to come out in abundance to sit down restaurants again.“

“The gyozas are my favorite. Literally nowhere else in the area makes them like they do. They are the fried pork gyozas. They are super crispy and the sauce that comes with is delicious. I always get those then hit CinCin next door for lo mein and general tso’s. Takeout and dining in is great. The atmosphere is super cool. I’ve also gotten sushi at the counter and it was tasty. It is a tad expensive for the gyozas $6-8 for the 5 gyozas but worth it.“

“Been here a few times now, the food is always so delicious and the service is great. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and bathrooms are always very clean. It's a blend of Chinese and Japanese so we grabbed some Chef's choice sushi and sesame chicken. Have not had a bad experience here and will be back again. Definitely worth a stop.“

“Very good overall. As part of trying different Chinese restaurants i ordered the General Tso chicken and sweet and sour chicken combination platters. Portions were good and the eggs rolls were excellent. The General tso chicken was very spicy, I love spicy but this was a little unexpected. It did not ruin the meal.
