It can be tough for me to find classic bar food that still works with being gluten free and mostly plant based, so I was thrilled to see both an appetizer and an entrée that fit my needs.\n\nThe brussel sprout appetizer was fabulous, though be warned, it’s spicy. I love heat, so it was perfect for me. My entrée, the new vegan enchiladas, was also great. They were flavorful without being overly heavy, which made the whole meal feel satisfying but not too filling.\n\nThe rest of my family raved about the Detroit style pizza and the wings. We will definitely be back. The service was spot on, the food was enjoyable, and while the atmosphere was loud, it was still manageable for a fun family night out. “Decided to try a Korean hot dog, mochi ice cream and mochi donut tonight. Holy 🐄. The potato hot dog was 💣! Salty hot dog in crunchy, slightly sweet fried shell-mmmmm!!!! The mochi donut (got coffee flavored, which has a Lotus cookie on top 🤤) had the most amazing, chewy consistency in a donut that I'd ever experienced. The only thing I didn't care for was the mochi ice cream. The outer dough was gummy, and it reminded me of fondant icing. The atmosphere is very take-out/nowhere you'd want to hang out in-plan to pick-up. Definitely going back! Try it! (Ate too fast for 📸!)“

The corn nuggets, which I never heard of , were a perfect blend of sweet and crunchy. This tastes like those secret places that locals didn’t tell you about but go all the time. Put this against any other chicken sandwich level good here.“

“As a hermit myself, Eremita is the most inviting coffee shop in the area. Yeah sure you could go to Dunkin or Starbucks also on Ridge Ave , but neither of those stores are anything like Eremita. When you walk into the cutest coffee shop in town you’ll fall in love with its eclectic charm instantly. You can immediately tell that this place was built with love and care. They have art on the walls you can buy and other cool events like open mic nights and crafting. While they don’t have sandwiches or big meals, the pastries are to die for, especially the savory puff pastries. There are probably a dozen or so small coffee shops around, but Eremita will also be my go to.“

“This restaurant is a gem! Food is always fresh and delicious. The best Thai in the area. Small family run business- where the owner Jay always comes around checking to make show you are pleased. An added bonus is that you can BYOB and they always bring out an ice bucket and nice wine or beer glasses for you to use. Give this restaurant a try- you won't be disppointed! My favorite is the Pad thai. We go on a regular basis and like to bring family and friends when they visit.“
