“Came here for lunch with a friend and had a great time. Our server was warm and attentive throughout, checked in at the right moments and gave genuinely helpful suggestions when we were deciding what to order.

Started with the clam chowder, rich, well seasoned, good chunks of clam, perfect for a lunch starter. For mains, the halibut was cooked perfectly, flaky and moist. The shrimp was also excellent, fresh without being overcooked.

Great food, easy conversation, friendly service, perfect spot for a relaxed lunch with a friend. Will definitely be back.“

“We were excited to visit this highly rated Coffee Shop for the first time. When we arrived from out of town we were unable to find accessible parking. There were steps up to the entrance which also made it complicated for our 2 wheelchair guests. The place looks so unique & cool, so I’ll definitely return to scope it out on my own to see if I can come back with my physically disabled guests.“

“A home away from home! As someone who frequents area coffee shops, there is nowhere I feel more welcomed with my young sons. We love coming here every week! The staff knows our names, and they are kind and compassionate to us. Even though the café is often very busy, care and quality remain consistent. You can tell Good Ground is about so much more than coffee — though of course that's wonderful too.“

“Food: The food (for the most part, there are a couple of items on the menu I'm personally not a big fan of) is pretty good & comes in nice big serving sizes (again, for the most part).

Price: It's generally about the same price or a bit cheaper (depending on what you get) as most fast food restaurants, except this is a diner/cafe & you are getting a decent bit more food per dollar.

Building/ Parking: It's a pretty tiny building with pretty limited parking (you can always find some parking somewhere nearby), but it's clean & decently maintained.

Staff: They're cool people, nothing extraordinary, but also nothing bad I've experienced so far (I've been several times).

Overall: This place is pretty good. If you are looking for breakfast (or potentially lunch) in Middletown, (from my experience) either here or the Brownstone Cafe are your best options (If you have a big party like 6+, I'd probably go to the brownstone, but just 1-4, here is really nice & there's typically not much of any wait like the Brownstone).

Dishes, in ample portions, are served "family style" at the center of the table on a glass "Lazy Susan". No need to pick up and pass, just turn. and add to your plate. Front of house Service is very attentive and always at the ready. Very friendly and will explain the cuisine. We were a party of 7 and each one of us enjoyed our meal and experience. this place is a gem. Poultry, Fish, Pork, and vegan options are available. Exotic fare is also on the menu. “Stopped by St. Catherine Labouré church's food truck fest today (8/17) and picked up a crab cake, an order of cheesy crab balls, fries and cole slaw. Man, everything was BANGIN'! First of all the crab is tasty, you can tell they're getting it fresh, and the portions were generous. Denise still had some crab cake leftover, and the cheesy crab balls were really nicely spicy, with a ton of crabmeat. We split fries, a HUGE order, and split the slaw, also enough for two. Fries have a seafood seasoning similar to Old Bay, and the slaw was nicely tangy, slightly creamy, just a hint of sweet. Definitely got the seasoning right, the crab is copious, and it's a super value. Denise reports: lump crab in those cakes, NO FILLER!“

“I stopped in here on a Wednesday night in February for a drink and bite to eat. Many people have told me to check this place out and I finally got in for a visit.

It’s located in a strip mall so it’s not very big as far as space but the atmosphere was tremendously welcoming.

There’s about 10 seats at the bar give or take a couple. I sat between some folks that seemed to be regulars and they all were friendly. There were some tables as well. I tried three different beers and they’re all good. I am not a stout drinker but I tried one and it was surprisingly good. My favorite of the three was pivot parts which was an IPA. They had 12 taps - 4 were ciders and the rest were their own beer. I saw they offer some cocktails as well.

The owner/bartender was personable and had great rapport with the customers. Again, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming - great vibes all around.

They have a small food menu. I had a flatbread and it was nice and crisp like I prefer.

Prices were similar to other breweries. Parking was a shared lot with other businesses but plenty of spots.

“Stopped here for lunch with my husband and our daughters. The place was quaint. We had a friendly waitress and our food arrives quickly. I had the chicken ciabatta sandwich with sweet potato fries, my daughter had the chicken Caesar salad, my other daughter had the LBC burger with fries, and my husband had the Cajun Caesar salmon wrap. Everything tasted good and was reasonably priced.“

“Highly recommend the Grandma’s Trio. Don’t be afraid of the margarita pizza in the middle. I was worried it was too saucy but wanted to step out of my comfort zone. I am SO glad I did! It turned out to be my favorite section, although I must say all three are outstanding. It’s pizza you’ve never had and don’t know you needed, and 100% worth trying. We literally planned a weekend in Harrisburg based on Papa Joe’s. We first tried it two years ago on a trip to the RV show and when the memory popped up this week we decided we needed the 2.5 hour road trip. Thanks for another great meal!“
