“I don’t go here as often as I would like, but every time I have gone, the food has always been delicious, and the owners and staff are always so friendly and crack a joke or two! I love this food and it makes me want to learn how to cook it myself, but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do it as well as them. The rice w/beans with pork and chicken, called “Rob’s Special”, is so good. Their plantain stuffed with beef, as well as their meat patties, are so good. That’s what I’ve gotten so far because I just want to get the same things again because I like them so much😆“

“Where do I begin… This place is beyond words, every bite it decadent, delightful, exquisite and masterful. Francis is a true master in the kitchen, each time we visit the menu is different, and I’ve yet to have anything short of incredible. The entire staff is friendly and passionate about the food and atmosphere of the cafe. Our favorite waitress Reelika always explains the menu so well and makes it such a fun experience. “Our party of 6 dined last night. Michelle was our server. She was great- very attentive, drinks were always filled. Some stand-outs: Caesar salad was great, dressing is made in-house. Blackened chicken and shrimp were seasoned well. The creamy polenta is excellent. Salmon dish was prepared perfectly. The carrot cake dessert is excellent and the creme brulee is also very good. There’s plenty of space between the bar area, the lounge and the dining room. A gentleman (manager?) visited our table and made sure our order was just right. Great experience! Will recommend and will return!“

“Friendly staff. Good sized portions. Not sure if they are, but the eggs taste very fresh (hey - it’s Oley. Farms everywhere- if a place serves eggs around here they should be local and fresh.). Cash only establishment but there is an ATM on site. One thing - I like hot tea with honey and sometimes the honey packets aren’t that good. Dark and gloppy(it’s probably fine - just unappetizing looking as it’s dropping into my tea). I know you probably have to buy a hundred at a time and don’t give out that much so (just a suggestion), it might be better to just not offer it. I consider it a “bonus condiment” lol. If server says “sorry we don’t have honey”and I end up using sugar - it’s not a big deal…and I would have just stopped writing after my compliment lol. I do love your place. It’s cozy.“

“Giovanni's is one of the only places around that is consistently good. The pizza is always amazing. Whenever we are trying to decide where to go as a family of 7, Giovannis always wins out. It's the only place we can name that everyone is happy with. In the summer, some of out best days are ordering a few pizzas or hoagies to take to Nine Oaks Pool.“

“Really cool old school diner with a very large menu (breakfast all day!) and great daily specials. Salad bar is not fancy, but fresh and well maintained. Soups are self serve next to the salad bar. They just hired a new cook ,Anthony,who is best known for running bravos,he makes the most UNBELIEVABLE pastas and soups,you feel like your at Nona's house when you eat his food,he is far and above anywhere else that sells pasta,he makes ,compania, rigatoni w/meat sauce and lasagna,just to name a few, everything is made fresh and on the premise. They also offer subs and cheese steaks with all the appetizers to go along. I would highly recommend this place for all of their food cravings. If your not hungry they have a full bar and their drinks are competitively priced and our drinks were worth the money . You won't be disappointed trying this place out for a first time“

“This is the absolute best Italian restaurant I’ve ever eaten at! The food is delicious and succulent, the service is impeccable, the waitresses are very friendly and quick with taking your order! The bread, pasta, cakes, everything is homemade onsite and you can really taste it! They make new dishes constantly so it’s always a surprise! The take-out pizza is fantastic, you have to try their Sicilian and grandma style pizza too! My favorite dish is the crab ravioli, which has a very tasty sauce and loaded with delicious crab! The owners are awesome people who treat their employees like family, everyone always has a smile on their face! This is my favorite restaurant in Douglassville, I award it five stars!!“
