“Our party of 6 dined last night. Michelle was our server. She was great- very attentive, drinks were always filled. Some stand-outs: Caesar salad was great, dressing is made in-house. Blackened chicken and shrimp were seasoned well. The creamy polenta is excellent. Salmon dish was prepared perfectly. The carrot cake dessert is excellent and the creme brulee is also very good. There’s plenty of space between the bar area, the lounge and the dining room. A gentleman (manager?) visited our table and made sure our order was just right. Great experience! Will recommend and will return!“

“I have been going to main street cafe since it opened, before I even graduated. It’s now 13 years later and it’s still my number one go to breakfast/lunch spot. The owner, the staff, and the atmosphere have always been warm and welcoming. I continue to go back not only for the ambiance but for the amazing food. From the crunchy (and stuffed) French toast to the juicy burgers, breakfast and lunch are always phenomenal. “I'm still not entirely sure what this restaurant is called. Google lists it as Boon Chu Thai, but the actual signage says Thai Spice. Naming confusion aside, we visited a couple of weeks ago with pretty low expectations and walked away pleasantly surprised.

It was weekend lunchtime, yet the place was nearly empty, just us and maybe one takeout order. We tried the shrimp drunken noodles, green chicken curry, and chicken wings. The wings and drunken noodles were good, solid but nothing exceptional. The green chicken curry, though, was out of this world. Genuinely delicious, and nicely presented too. Service was prompt and attentive throughout.

The one downside is the restaurant's rundown look. It's clean, but the decor feels old and minimally maintained. If dining in isn't appealing, that's likely why, the interior, not the food or service. It's a shame, because both of those were great. For takeout, though, none of this matters at all.“

He was personable, and attentive and made sure that we were satisfied with the food. He was very busy but I noticed he provided time and courtesy to all the tables around us. “My wife and I went to the Trappe recently. We hadn't been in years because we felt that the food quality had fallen off. However, a friend had recently told me that he had a good experience with their their two for Tuesday special, so we decided to give it a try.

We were pleasantly surprised. My wife got the ribs and I got the salmon. Both came with two fresh side salads of our choice, Cajun corn, and mashed potatoes.

I really enjoyed the salmon in my wife also equally enjoyed the ribs.

We had a nice evening and the prices were reasonable. My wife had a $12 drink and I had a diet Coke and all told with a 20% tip the bill came out to a little over $70 which is not bad in this day and age.

The atmosphere of the trap hasn't changed much over the years, which is kind of charming in its own way.

We will definitely consider going back again and getting the special.“

“Giovanni's is one of the only places around that is consistently good. The pizza is always amazing. Whenever we are trying to decide where to go as a family of 7, Giovannis always wins out. It's the only place we can name that everyone is happy with. In the summer, some of out best days are ordering a few pizzas or hoagies to take to Nine Oaks Pool.“

“Great food served with a side of excellent service! Abby was phenomenal. She has a warm and friendly personality but more significantly, a tremendous sense of humor. When I get the feeling a server can handle my wackiness, when I ask for honey mustard for my fries, I specify “mustard honey.” She smiled and said Sure!

My in-laws got their usual, a White Russian sandwich and a burger. My wife got a French Dip type of sandwich, and I ordered a French Onion Soup with a side of curly fries. When Abby brought out our food she saved mine for last, and she said “here’s your mustard honey.” She sat down a bottle of honey and a bottle of mustard. The four of us busted up laughing because the joker got PUNKED! But yes, I did get the real thing.

As usual our food was served hot and was very tasty. It wasn’t just punking me that made me appreciate her. Abby truly enjoys people, which reflects on the exceptional level of service she provides. Servers like Abby are rare these days, and I trust management will pass on our complements. And I hope I spelled her name correctly because it could be Abbie. Either way she rocks!

Great place for casual meals and drinks, but expect potential wait times for a table on Friday and Saturday nights (during prime time).
Their menu of grilled cheese is off-the-hook! My favorite is the cajun meatloaf grilled cheese, or the Carolina BBQ grilled cheese (with cole slaw). Great rotating craft beers too.“

Cash only establishment but there is an ATM on site. One thing - I like hot tea with honey and sometimes the honey packets aren’t that good. Dark and gloppy(it’s probably fine - just unappetizing looking as it’s dropping into my tea). I know you probably have to buy a hundred at a time and don’t give out that much so (just a suggestion), it might be better to just not offer it. I consider it a “bonus condiment” lol. If server says “sorry we don’t have honey”and I end up using sugar - it’s not a big deal…and I would have just stopped writing after my compliment lol. I do love your place. It’s cozy.“

The lemon cake is a must have dessert! George and his team have Been working all through the pandemic making sure the community could count on them! So many restaurants ended up closing down and we are so glad that Piazza Presto was able to make it through. The food is always Fresh and delicious. Great place for a date night or with the family.
