Almost all businesses were closed and we decided to bike thru town only to find Al's OPEN for takeout. We got to enjoy some delicious pizza slices, a cold drink and a piece of Al's delicious homemade pie. If you're biking in, make Al's a must-stop. “My husband and I decided to try Mimos this evening and we're so happy we did! The service was Great and the Food was Excellent! I had a cup of their homemade Italian Wedding Soup and it was the best I've ever had! My Italian Cold Cut was so yummy, the bread was definitely homemade. I had their homemade Tirimisu for dessert and it was devine! My Husband had a combo stromboli and loved it! The portions are big and you'll probably have enough left over for lunch the next day! For the Service, Food Quality & Portion sizes, I highly recommend Mimo's Pizza! We will definitely be back!“

“My husband and I got married on August 2nd, and I am a little embarrassed that it’s now December 14th and I’m just getting around to writing this review. That said, a 5-star review is more than deserved for the team at Amici's. We hosted our wedding reception at Amici's after a private elopement ceremony, with a sit-down dinner for about 80 friends and family. From the start, Taylor and his team were incredibly easy to work with. Even with a few last-minute requests, they were accommodating and flexible. I was definitely a very type-A bride and probably sent him so much more information than necessary, but Taylor handled it all with patience and confidence. Any time something couldn’t be done exactly as I envisioned, he offered thoughtful alternatives that still felt like “us.” The venue itself is beautiful, and the food was truly outstanding. Months later, guests still talk about how delicious the dinner was. Several friends and family members have even gone out of their way to visit the sister restaurant, Pour On Center, in the weeks/months since our wedding because they enjoyed the food and drinks so much at our reception. We are so grateful to Taylor and the entire team for making our wedding reception feel smooth, relaxed, and special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or special event.“

“After trying numerous times to come to this restaurant (weird closing hours) we finally made it this past Saturday. We both ordered Spaghetti with meat sauce, which was accompanied by a salad and bread. Their bread is really good but came out with ice cold butter that was hard to put on your bread. (suggestion - maybe leave out the little butter cups to room temperature so they are not so hard to put on).
Nonetheless our dinner came out, large portions where we each were able to take home for lunch the next day. Waitress was nice, place was clean. We both had the Raspberry Ice tea which was ok, it seems watered down, not sure if the ratio of the drink machine was correct.
All around experience was good, food good and portion size was huge. We will be back....“

“I ordered a large stromboli and garlic knots yesterday around 3pm. When I arrived to pick up my order it was not busy and no vehicles were in the parking lot and my order was sitting on top of the pizza oven. When I got home we cut the stromboli and the cheese wasn't even melted! it was cold in the middle!!! totally unacceptable!! I had to bake the stromboli in my oven to finish cooking it... the garlic knots weren't soggy and had so much bitter garlic they were inedible!!! I was very disappointed with the quality of my order. Being that my order was just sitting on top of the pizza oven boxed up it could have been cooked longer, obviously there was time!! When the owner is working my food is always perfect and always delicious!! But yesterday I did not see him and it shows in the food quality!! And support local fee?? what?? Is that a new tax???“

“So as a business owner I know things can happen from time to time that doesn’t always go as planned. Especially on opening day or in the 1st week. We just got done eating our order and let me say this. 1st impression is they did absolutely awesome! Delivery got here within 30 minutes and was hot and everything tasted great. The delivery driver (Caleb) was very polite and respectful. I know it’s just the first day but I would say they’re off to a good start.“

Arrived about three minutes after their closing time, but they gave us our pizza. That's great service if you ask me! Pizza was great, too. Probably the best (and most underrated) in the area. “It had been many years since we had visited the Italian Oven in Johnstown. We were passing through The area and I searched on my phone to see if the Italian Oven was currently open.
We were so surprised to see that it was still in the mall.
