“I was in the area and decided to pop by to try a thing or two. Not knowing anyone who had tried them before I stuck to the small, individual sized items…browned butter chocolate chip cookies, morning croissant and some pizza dough. It all comes frozen but I had other places to go so some started defrosting in the car. Here’s my review of each. Cookies - I don’t like ANY chocolate chip cookie that doesn’t have nuts in them. I usually wouldn’t even buy them, I decided to try these because of the browned butter. I had one in the car before I got home and they were AMAZING! I shocked myself at how much I enjoyed them. They were soft without being chewy, a feature I hate in cookies personally, and had nice crispy edges, even after defrosting! The taste, texture and everything about these defied all that I thought was possible with a gf cookie! 10 out of 10 Pizza dough - since it was defrosted by the time I got him I decided to make a couple mini pizzas. I used half the dough, I bag will easily make 4-5 personal sized pizzas. I thought I had rolled it too thin as it started to break apart so I made it a little thicker. It rises while cooking so when I do the rest, I’ll leave it thinner for sure. Because other gf pizzas seem to have such difficulty cooking in the city I was concerned when I saw these rising. But they cooked up beautifully! It was soooo nice having gf pizzas seem that had the taste and texture of traditional crust. I appreciate suppliers for having the option available, and some are better than others…but the Flakely dough is the standard now! I’ll never buy another gf pizza, whether it be a restaurant or a market. 10 out of 10 Morning croissant - I put this right in the freezer so I haven’t tasted it yet. But it looks phenomenal! They described it as a cross between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. You can’t go wrong with that combo as a general thing but given how the cookie and pizza dough has tasted, I have no doubt this will be terrific as well! Run, don’t walk, over to their shop and let’s make sure they’re around for the long haul. Just beware, they might spoil you against some of your existing faves!“

“We had a PHENOMENAL experience with Koren's Kitchen in July at a surprise 80th birthday for our mom. Over 30 people enjoyed delicious food. Koren and her team were engaging and fun as they navigated the kitchen, passed hor de voures, and set up the main food area several times. The food station looked beautiful in presentation. Top notch from first call until total spotless clean up. I can't recommend Koren's Kitchen strongly enough!! “Ordered a birthday cake for my mom’s 50th from Kia’s and I cannot recommend them more. I worked with Rachel, and she was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to fulfill my requests. “We had a small party at Riverwinds on Saturday night. The food was excellent. However, the dessert package is a total ripoff! There was a plate of small desserts ( 1”square pieces of cake, 2 “ eclairs, a chocolate covered strawberry, and a tiny cannoli. There were not even enough for everyone to take one! When I asked for more the waitress said I should go to another table and see if they had anything! 😡😳 Definitely not worth $10 a person! RIPOFF!“

“Started using Homecooked meals during lockdown...If you're into the boxed delivery meals you might want to check out a local option which is similar price per meal. They delivery locally or you can pick up by the Paoli train station... Enjoying meal prep... I got today's lunch, a meal for later this week and four frozen dinners for later. This is from their full serving meal that feeds 4-6. They also have half servings. I'm not sure it is planned, but the nutritional breakdown in the meals I get are balanced to meet my Mediterranean diet needs. There are high carb meals too. The food taste level is like eating out at nice restaurant...“

“Fantastic pizza, salads and hoagies. The owner is great, and same with the staff. Best pizza shop in the area. Try one of their hoagies or subs! Chicken Florentine is great. I have a nut allergy and we always eat their food! My mom and I have known the owner for years - would highly recommend.“

“It’s super easy to pop off and back on to the schuylkill expressway (route 76) on a road trip. (We were on our way to Hersheypark, so on our way out we had only savory brunch foods)

The buffalo blue cheez pop tart was a little too crumbly, but the pizza one was excellent. The pot pie one was better heated up. (When it was room temp, the herbs weren’t very punchy)

As for sweet ones, raspberry, classic! Perfect! The pumpkin maple was very pleasant! (Cookies & crème was meh, but my husband liked it.) these all were perfectly tasty at room temp. Heating didn’t really improve them all that much, and made the pastry softer. (I liked the bite of a room temp pastry. I used to eat room temp unfrosted pop tarts when I was a kid. lol!)

I was also talked into getting the frosted brownie, since it’s a bestseller. but I’m not a frosting person, so it ruined it for me. It was much better after i scraped the frosting off. (Loaded with chippos!)

The jalapeño cheddar bagel bomb was really nice. The bread part itself had a mild sweetness that complemented the jalapeños nicely. ‘Twas gooey.

The croissant was tender and delicate, although more bready than flaky pastry. The biscuit sandwich was good, but not as good as the croissant (buttery and flaky). We also grabbed a jalapeño cheddar biscuit on its own which was also very tasty! (But the texture was ever so slightly gummy, likely because of the cheez. Heating improved it a bit.)

It’s frustrating that the website has no general “may or may not be in stock”menu, instead leaning on Instagram for providing information, but I don’t have Instagram, so I was completely in the dark. I was nervous that they wouldn’t have anything savory, but they did, and we had a lovely quick brunch before continuing our drive. They keep some items warm in a little oven behind the counter until 3 pm, so that’s really nice if you’re wanting a super quick warm meal. (And it was also good that we bought too much food, because Hershey park doesn’t have a whole lot of stuff for vegans, so we ended up finishing the leftovers when we got back to the hotel.)“

“I was introduced to these cookies years ago, and they have become my go-to choice for special occasions for many reasons. First, they are absolutely delicious! Second, I appreciate their business practices. Just yesterday, I ordered some cookies, and although they usually ship the next day, they weren't able to get into the shop due to the ice. I received a thoughtful phone call from a man named Mike. He informed me that they typically do not ship on Fridays, but given the inclement weather, they would be making an exception. He even apologized for the delay. You rarely get this kind of courtesy call from businesses anymore.“

We did not feel rushed when ordering our food and with asking questions about ingredients in a few food items/choices. Ambiance: So this was my first time here. Very delicious food and pleasant staff, however I was shocked to see the TINY tables for eating. I have never seen tables so tiny, in a cafe/eatery setting, ever in my life...for eating! I was afraid the food wouldn't all fit on the table and that we would have to hold a plate in our hands. The seating is VERY tight, like a packed sardine tight, like I wanted to leave and go elsewhere with roomier seating tight, but my man wanted to treat me to delicious food, so I chalked it up and said nothing. Otherwise food and staff were awesome, and you get what you pay for; i.e. their portions are LARGE and very yummy. Today, I enjoyed their seasonal s’mores draft latte which was rich and leaned more on the chocolaty side. My only request would be to include a few comfortable indoor seating options (maybe sway lounge seating?) that encourage you to stay a bit. While wood looks pretty, it’s not very comfortable to sit on after 15-20 min haha!“
