“I have been coming to TJ Buffet for a LONG time, and I’m just now finally sitting down to write the review they have deserved every single time I’ve been here. If Google allowed 10 stars, that’s what they would get from me.

First of all, the service is ALWAYS amazing. Everyone is genuinely friendly, welcoming and attentive. I can be a little complicated with my order 😂, and they have literally remembered exactly what I like. At this point, when I walk in and they see me, they already know what I’m getting. That kind of service is rare and absolutely deserves to be acknowledged.

And the FOOD!!! My order is the Seafood Delight with curry and shrimp fried rice, and it is 10 out of 5 every single time. Consistent, flavorful, fresh and absolutely delicious. Somehow the leftovers might even be BETTER the next day, which I don’t understand, but I’m certainly not complaining. 😂

I have been here many times and have never had anything less than a five star experience. Amazing food, amazing people and amazing service. TJ Buffet has absolutely earned a loyal customer in me.“

“My husband and I have been going to the Village Inn for many years now. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious from sandwiches to great Italian Food . My favorite is the stuffed crabmeat mushroom appetizer, bruschetta and Chicken Romano. The meatballs and pasta are so good. My favorite dessert is the Tiramisu. I highly recommend the Verona Village Inn.“

“The fact that this place only had one table when we walked in was CRAZY to me. The server was incredibly sweet and attentive. They were not offering soup or salad for the side so we were given egg rolls as well as crab rangoon's. THEY WERE SO GOOD. rangoons are my favorite treat and i would rate these in my top 3 goons. The egg rolls were also amazing, not overly stuffed with cabbage, they had more meat and i loved that. Now the main course, teriyaki chicken, fried rice and veggies. Very fresh! seasoned well and sauced well. Now i wouldn’t say it is legit fried rice from on the flat top, it wasn’t very crisp like fried rice. But that’s not the star anyways. The chicken was very fresh and the veggies as well. All very crisp and hot and flavorful. Will definitely return, and all for a great price.“

The seasoning is the best part, I always ask for extra in addition to buying a side of it so I can cover everything in it 🤣 I’ve tried quite a few of their seafood options- shrimp, cod, perch, catfish filet & nuggets- and have never been disappointed by any of them. The pick 2 combo with shrimp and catfish nuggets is my go-to though, best catfish I’ve ever had. The fries are always hot and crispy even when I get them delivered through doordash, and the hush puppies are great too. And you gotta have the funnel cake sticks for dessert! I love Hook 💕🐟🍤“

“There aren't too many of these places left and I'm glad this one in Penn Hills got it together, cause they used to be HORRIBLE. They have improved in a MAJOR way as far as the SERVICE. The past few times I've been in there, the people taking the orders were prompt and polite. Even if they were busy, someone at least acknowledged you. That alone went a long way compared to what it used to be. I'm thankful for the new leadership in that place, it's made a difference. The food is what the food is. Lol. It's still good ole Long John Silver. It's nice, cause it's hasn't taken forever to get the food either. The crew in the kitchen was on it. And heck.... They even have a large type matt on the floor where you order your food, so your not sliding your feet across the floor from all the grease in the air lol ... Great job Long Silver, I hope they are able to keep up the now good service.“
