“The staff are all kind, helpful, accommodating, and genuinely there to make your evening perfect. Chris the hostess was wonderful, as well as the many servers who all willingly supported Gary, the owner, to provide the best service and culinary experience possible for his dinner guests. The menu is one of the best we have seen in the area with many international dishes, some with the labor intensive Indian nuances, and others just with downright phenomenal flavors. Although they have lots of standard fare for the UNadventurous eater, I would suggest you reach past your comfort zone and try some of the appetizers that jump out as potential winners...like the tuna tartare that with just a splash of Japanese Rice wine vinegar would be one of the best I have ever had, as well as the grilled Tandoori shrimp that is marinated in yogurt, ginger, cloves nutmeg, and dried mango; the grilled lamp chops that come with three perfectly grilled meaty garlicky chops that come with mango chutney, and the Haryali chicken Tikka- three huge plump boneless breast of chicken slices that are marinated in mint, yogurt, roasted cloves, green cardamom and star anise, and served with their famous tiger sauce and salsa. We also shared another marinated shredded beef dish special that had three beef croquette-shaped mounds that had such a umami of flavors I can't even replicate it in this review, but we thought it was just great. I would be remiss if I did not mention the creamy, silky crème brûlée that we enjoyed with a glass of Prosecco; a perfect encore to the phenomenal culinary treat we had just experienced with the appetizer medley. Sharing many apps is more fun we think, than committing to one big entree, so we suggest that you dash over to the Pittstown Inn TONIGHT, and tell them Debbie and Gene sent you....ask to meet Gary, the owner, who elegantly floats from table to table, touching each to greet them and to check later on as well to see if everything was to their liking. A true host from days gone by, this owner is the real deal whose passion for the hospitality business emulates from his constant smile from the joy he is getting from making his guests happy. You see that what fuels this man to keep opening his doors from year to year, despite the many hardships and setbacks life has dealt us all over and over, is his love for you, his loyal customer. He is a rare find, so I suggest you go and treat yourself to the real deal in dining. You will not be disappointed, and be sure to ask to meet Gary. He will make your visit complete. Kudos the phenomenal chefs I met as well, for their expertise and genuine ingenuity in designing a menu to please everyone. Can you tell we LOVE this place??????????“

I ordered a hot latte and my daughter ordered an Iced latte, both were amazing!!! MUCH BETTER THAN Sta**ucks!!! I ordered the Homemade sausage gravy and biscuits. They were extremely good and would definitely order again.
My daughter ordered the pancakes, very light and fluffy 10 out of 10 as far as pancakes go.

“We stopped in for an early dinner after a visit to a local winery. What a great little place! Food was delicious and came out hot and fresh! I had the steak frites, the steak was a perfect medium rare and even the green beans were cooked perfect and hot. My wife ordered the fish and chips and was impressed with the tender meatiness of the cod. The batter was crisp and hot without overwhelming the freshness of the fish. This was our first time here so just beware no cocktails or beer it is BYOB only but well worth a visit.“

Owners, Dan and Ian, have taken this dated property and transformed it into my absolute go-to for events, especially weddings. The grounds are lovely with ponds, swaying grasses and rolling hills. I absolutely love the flexibility of the ballroom. Beautiful views, flexible lighting, high ceilings, tons of natural light, neutral floors, walls and chairs make decor a joy. You can create any vibe you want in this space with ease. Dan was lovely to work with and exceedingly patient in providing many changes in floorpan due to the never ending Covid issues. He was also genuinely excited for my bride and groom and took joy in seeing their vision come to light. Many other venues are quick to tell you all the things you cannot do. Dan made sure that our requests came to life, and then some! His creativity was much appreciated. The food was delicious and served in a lovely, imaginative manner. William, staff captain, kept the wait staff running efficiently throughout the evening and Melissa, Durham's on-site event coordinator was responsive throughout, taking special care of several specific needs that we had for the day. “We've been to Peddlars Village before, but our first time stopping in at Harts Tavern. Our bartender Dan, served up cold drinks quickly and friendly. It was Cheesesteak Tuesday with a special on build your own, or get their traditional. They were tasty, and the hot dogs others had looked great too. Next time here we'll be able to spend more time, and enjoy tge menu and drinks more. Give them a try, nice place inside as well“
