“We chose Cricket Catering for our daughter’s wedding at the Duportail House - Chesterbrook the weekend of 10/19/24. I cannot say enough about how wonderful all of the food was. Owner/operator Drew was so easy to work with. When we first went to his facility for a tasting we were shocked by the amount of and the variety of the foods he served us, all at no cost. We sampled everything from appetizers to desserts. We chose a buffet style service which included a taco/fajita bar as well as three other entrees and side dishes. Drew was also very attentive to our guests with dietary issues. Items which were gluten free were clearly labeled as such. At the last minute we informed him of our need for two vegan meals which he prepared and served directly to those guests! What added to the event was his wonderful staff. The servers were so polite, warm, and friendly. We fell in love with them and especially the bartender!! She was the best!! Drew was also very accommodating with allowing us to bring in our own desserts, which included a waffle and ice cream food truck. Most caterers would not allow such things. Planning a wedding can be very anxiety producing, but Drew made the catering part of it as easy as can be. The guests are still raving about the food!“

“We got married on 10/24/25 at The Waterfall and when i tell you how amazing this venue and their staff is, it would be an understatement. They went above and beyond for us and our guests from the time we showed up until we left after midnight. They even went to the extent of marking glasses that had alcohol in them so there wouldn’t be any accidents with our sober guests. I would choose this venue over and over again!“

They are always great, very friendly. They really seem to enjoy their jobs. They have good management and training something that you don't see much anymore. They are all winners. I highly recommend Mazzela’s Italian Restaurant for all special occasion food needs and for any time that you are in the mood for the best homemade tasting Italian foods! Everyone at restaurant was friendly and very helpful, which made ordering and pick up convenient and easy. The menu selection was great and all of the food was delicious and was done to perfection! “The Fried Chicken (duh!) Walt's Chicken is legitimately incredible fried chicken. The Lincoln Street location, Walt's Chicken Express, run by apprentice-turned-master Larry Fletcher, transcended even the original Walt's Flavor Crisp Chicken. After spending a decade learning from the original founder, Harry Sheppard, Larry opened his own Walt's on the West Side of Wilmington. And he took everything that made Walt's legendary, added his own Master Chef expertise, and elevated the chicken to an even higher plane of existence. You will NOT leave Walt's without already craving more of their fried chicken. It's THAT good. If you've had legitimately amazing fried chicken in Texas or Georgia, and can't tolerate the greasy rubber you always get served in the Northeast, take a sigh of a relief . Walt's is the ONLY chicken shop within 200 miles of Delaware that is legitimately *on par* with the best fried chicken joints in Texas or Georgia Get the fried chicken. White or Dark. Breast or wing; thigh or leg. All of the above. (Just remember to bring back 2-3 pieces for each other person in your home. Even if they "weren't hungry" when you left, they'll be furious you didn't pick them up a 3 piece dinner box) Lastly, don't expect anything special from anything else they serve. Sides, fries, fried shrimp, dessert, whatever else. They range from "decently good" to "mediocre at best." You're not there for cornbread.“

Amazing venue along with chefs Chris Ferguson and Dahmere Merriweather and the Pure Truth culinary team. This series is a can't miss event. I can't wait for the next one.“
