“Hometown is me and my families happy place! I literally do not enjoy other ice cream because nothing comes close to comparing to what Hometown creates! We go twice a week sometimes more in the spring and summer and at least once a week during the winter. We love the staff and the small town feel. It is the best place around and our go to- always!“

“Great as ALWAYS!!!! Ice cream was fresh and delicious. My husband ordered a Banana Split. I called it a Banana Boat (I’m from the Bronx). The look on the employee’s face was pure confusion (sorry lol). My daughter had the Raspberry cup and I had an ice cream taco (which I shouldn’t have gotten -diet)! Omg!! So delicious!!!

“My hubby and I decided to take our family for ice cream, (4 adults and 4 grandbabies) after our visit to the Philly Zoo. The associates working there today (7/29/24 @ 4:45pm) were absolutely wonderful. They were patient and kind, took everyone's order perfectly. “We visited last Sunday, my first time back in over 20 years. It was just how I remembered it - good portions, cozy environment, fantastic dessert. Service was quick and friendly. Overall, this is a great little hometown place! It won’t be another 20+ years until I’m back - the cherry vanilla ice cream is calling my name!“

“Always loved their ice cream. It's so good. Many styles to choose from . Shakes , hard ice cream and soft, ice cream sundaes. Etc. I had the best cone ever too. With chocolate covering it and sprinkles and chose 2 different hard ice creams for it. Moosetracks and Cookie dough. With chocolate syrup and sprinkles. It was delicious. Highly recommend them. Especially for their great choices and yummy ice cream. It's a great place to stop at in any day for a good cold yummy snack. Try it out sometime. You'd enjoy it.“
“We use Angels on Wheels for my daughters 6th birthday and it was such an awesome experience! My daughter was even able to go onto the truck and serve her family and friends ice cream! “They were out of root beer and the no sugar added ice cream. They had no other no sugar added options (I'm diabetic). We got our ice cream and the strawberry Sunday wasn't made with anything on the list but strawberries 😔 no cake, no sauce. The girls working were polite and upbeat. Decor was super cute and lots of choices in the cases just sadly they were out of what we wanted. Would stop again but would not go out of the way for it!!“

“This Rita’s is hands-down the best in the area. Open year-round, it’s a go-to spot no matter the season. There’s indoor seating for chillier days and an awesome outdoor area with shaded tables—perfect for enjoying a treat in the sun.
The flavored custard options are fantastic (seriously, try them!), and there’s always plenty of parking—so convenient. I’ve never had to wait in a long line, which is a huge plus when you’ve got eager kids in tow. The staff are also awesome with kids, they're always willing to add sprinkles to my kid’s water ice—even though it’s not the norm.“

“We hadn't been to Friendlys (Trexlertown) in a long time. The food was good and of course we had ice cream but our waitress, Abbygale, was excellent. She was very personable and attentive. She made sure we were well taken care of and made eating there a pleasant experience!“
