“I have been coming to PJW’s in Malvern essentially since it opened, often with long breaks in between visits when I am out of town. But no matter when I roll in, I am remembered and greeted warmly and enthusiastically by everyone on staff there, a-la Norm from “Cheers”! Often flying solo, I mostly sit at the bar, where the fantastic staff takes care of me with phenomenal warmth and humor each and every time. Rachel is the hardest working person whom I have ever beheld in any industry, multitasking flawlessly without ever breaking her smile and composure! Julianna, one of my favorite people encountered anywhere, personifies fun and friendliness, and I once witnessed her handle two separate wedding parties who rolled in without reservations stampede into the bar and all try to order. Served with aplomb; it was remarkable. Alyssa makes college football Saturdays wonderful for alums of far flung schools, and Emma and Shay keep great conversation flowing with the libations. The menu has reduced in size since the days of Covid, but what remains is delicious and dependable. If you are a salmon fan, you are going to love it here, and if you are an aficionado of smash burgers, get your snaps in! Good stuff! Management is great; they care about the patrons and also about the staff. “This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

“I want to offer some feedback to your staff. Dining there with a friend on May 9th, I found the meal to be very good with a couple of slips. My friend's aspargus salad and cod were excellent. The mousse au chocolat was fine. However, two items I chose needed some rethinking: the pastry for the vol au vent and the rabbit. The pastry had melted into the snail and their excellent sauce; it was hard to find. The first of many I ate many years ago, the first in Tunis, was tasty and stood a firm 3" high filled with the farce. Perhaps assembly is the issue. The rabbit was the second. The meat was dry; the sauce had not infused into the flesh. Perhaps a longer low/slow cook time. Perhaps when getting a reservation, you could ask the customer what they were thinking of choosing. If it were rabbit, you would know the order in advance and prepare more slowly. Duck fat might be a good liquid to brown the rabbit. I had not dined at Spring Mill Cafe' since the mid-90s. “Over a month ago my daughter and I had lunch at Seasons 52, King of Prussia. I am really careful regarding eating out because I have sensitivities to certain foods which include onions, scallions, shallots, leeks, chives, and garlic. I explained everything to my server. She went above and beyond and consulted with the Chef to make sure there were no mistakes with my order. She did a wonderful thing! David Jacobo, the Executive Chef Partner at Seasons 52 came to my table and discussed what he could do. He prepared a special appetizer of "Flatbread" which was artfully plated and decadent with fresh basil. He also added a special side to replace a dish that was not on my diet. Chef David came to our table several times to question how I was enjoying his specific dishes. I know firsthand about being turned away from a restaurant because they could not accommodate certain dietary requests. A wonderful experience from the start with an attentive waitress and caring Chef. Highly recommend.“

“We had an evening out At The Table and did the tasting menu. It didn't disappoint. The food was amazing, my favorite was the scallop course. The only negative was a table of 6 near us who kept complaining. They arrived at the same time as us and also had the tasting menu. Our young daughter was more mature than this group of 60+yr olds. When the lamb entree came out they were convinced it wasn't lamb. It was lamb, and it was excellent. The whole idea of the tasting menu is to relax, take your time and have good conversations, entree at about 90mins and done in 2 hours. “This is probably my favorite new restaurant in Conshohocken! In summary: food is great, and the owners are so lovely and everyone truly cares about elevating your experience.

I went for the first time right after they opened, and had a wonderful experience. All of the food tasted great, but what really stood out from that first experience was the service. It’s a true family owned establishment, and it seems like the entire family works here. 🙂 we even spoke with an auntie who had flown out from her home in India to help them during the opening! Everyone stopped in to see what we thought of the food, and make sure we were having a good time. It wasn’t overwhelming, it was just so authentically caring.

In that first visit, we ordered our food spicy, but everything tasted very mild. I did give the feedback to the employees, and they definitely seemed to take it to heart. Since then, we have been back for Dina and have ordered takeout several times. We have ordered spicy, and it’s always been so spot on it’s spice level! It’s the perfect very spicy heat, but not so much that I feel like I’m gonna die if I don’t dip my face in milk. If you like some spice, but not too much, the medium should be perfect for you.

We’ve ordered so many different items. I highly recommend trying their starters, especially if you normally just order curries and skip starters. The chaats and the bhel puri are so delicious and fresh and crunchy. I really enjoy their paneer and lentil dishes, both lentil curries are fantastic. The dal maharani is rich, creamy, and savory and is the best. Their raita is also delicious and fresh. Just try everything!

It’s located well, right near the main street in town. You’ll find both street parking, and a parking lot across the street that is free in the evenings.

With the level of care that the family and the staff puts into the food and your experience, they just can’t go wrong. I’m so excited to have them in town, and I highly recommend you try them out!“
