“I check the weekly offerings and try to plan a trip when something sounds appealing. I will say that I have enjoyed 95% of the ones I tried. You can't go wrong with the semi-sweet chocolate chip. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.“

“Today, I participated in the introduction Sourdough101 baking class at Third Space Bakery even though I don’t have any prior bread making experience. It was truly an awesome experience that I will never forget. Nick Webster and Beth Taylor and Doug Heilman were exceptional teachers and worked closely with me to make sure I understood and followed along with the class. Nick took the time to answer my questions during class and even took the time to talk to me after class. He also wrote a simple explanation on why I do so well with Third Space Vegan Sourdough bread compared to other sourdough breads I’ve tried in the past. When I emailed Nick asking for him to convert the recipes and text to an alternative format that I’m able to read without any problems.
The Hibiscus sparking water was refreshing and paired up beautifully with the vegan sourdough, nuts and dried apricot. I have no idea what olive oil and Balsamic Vinegar Beth mixed together however it was truly the best I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to tell all my friends and family about this awesome class. I can’t wait to come back to advanced sourdough class that’s coming up.“

There is a specific bagel that I am overwhelmingly obsessed with. I won’t even share which one because I want there to be bagels in stock when I go up there! Now that my daughter has a car at college, I won’t be there as often. Yesterday after college drop off, I got there in time to find 5 of my bagels left. “Absolutely delicious! What made it extra special is that they partner with Robert Morris University. At the start of the semester, RMU sent an email about signing up for their birthday club to possibly win a cake! I feel so lucky, and the owners were such amazing, lovely people. We brought this cake to a friends house for soup cook-off. Although we were voting for our favorite soup, everyone agreed the lemon cake was the true winner - there were no leftovers! Thank you for such delicious desserts, and also for your kindness!“

“I bought the iced caramel macchiato, chocolate croissant, and milk sticky buns. The staff was so kind and friendly, and I could really tell they enjoy working at this bakery. The food was great! The croissant was flaky and buttery, though, there was only a sliver of chocolate inside. It was mostly plain croissant, but honestly, I didn’t mind! The sticky buns were delicious, it wasn’t as sweet as I thought it would be, so I genuinely enjoyed this treat. The latte was great for the price; it was $5 for the small, but the small size is plenty. At Starbucks it is usually 4-5 dollars for the tall caramel macchiato, but the size is significantly smaller. I would say even though it’s not too expensive, it’s also probably not the best coffee in the city. The taste was pretty average. Additionally, the coffee is not very strong in this macchiato. If you have tried the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso from Starbucks, the strength of coffee on both of these is very similar (though I would say the shaken espresso is a little stronger). Overall this spot was a great visit and I look forward to coming here again!“

“We tried Dosa Cupcakes for the first time and we are so happy we did! The cupcakes were beautiful as well as delicious and not too sweet! We tried the blueberry lemon, the chocolate peanut butter and the strawberry pretzel salad cupcake (great for sweet and salty)…all 3 fantastic! We also tried the shortbread dippers too..so good! I wish we took pictures of our goodies but we ate them too fast!! Also what a friendly couple running this business! Always outgoing and willing to spend time describing their cupcakes to customers with a smile. Also come to find out they have a store front too in Pitcairn and they do much more than just cupcakes.
