“This is a nice venue with top quality music acts, very friendly employee's and very clean. There is a small parking lot and street parking. Very minimal noise level. They don't serve food but everyone goes to a place two doors down and brings it back. I highly recommend Moondogs!“

They also serve awesome drinks like mudslides, banana monkey, or dirty monkey, and some good fruity drinks, do not hesitate to name your favorite, or don't be afraid to try something new. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Servers are always great and pleasant from my experiences as well! Street parking only but it's free. It also may look like a "hole in the wall" before going inside but it's far from that. It's recently renovated and has a modern but classic bar feel and look. Just don't judge a book by it's cover on this place.

“Prices are terrific, service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is what you'd expect out of a tavern, with a bonus from some potted plants.

The soup du jour, a spiced black bean soup, was out of this world. The fried pickles were the best fried pickle wedges I've ever had, with some terrific batter. The wings were good. The sauces were delicious, especially the spice golden BBQ sauce we had (golden goldenboy, I think). The only thing was they weren't crispy.

“Right on walnut street! I was out with a friend and he suggested this place, I was there like 25+ years ago when it had another owner. So we went in, got some beers, and ordered. Beers came quick and cold! My friend ordered a hot turkey with gravy and fries, I ordered a hot ham and cheese. Side of bacon covered cheese fries....excellent! Prices were good, as was all the food and drink! I highly recommend this place. Don't miss out!“

“If you like hood bars this is the place to go. They have pool tables and food but I never ate there but I heard the food is BOMB! You also have to try those jello shots that Auntie makes which are very strong. “Dive bar vibe - Dark & Vintage. They're hot cheese balls were pretty good. They were not the best cheese curds that I have ever had, but they were decent. If you like your cheese curds extra cheesy, these are for you. We also got 2 burgers were which were extremely large, & cooked well done which wasn't very good. The fries were subpar and the chips were just plain generic ruffle chips -not made in house or anything. I would have loved another option to not have a side. This place was not super expensive which was cool but probably wouldn't come here again.“

“Absolutely enjoyed this bar! Their drinks were good and the night my friend and I went they plaued great music. Since it was snowy, there wasnt a large crowd, but we had fun regardless.

The bartender was friendly and gave us drink suggestions and made good talk. We watched sports on tv, talked, and overall had a good time. Bathrooms were clean, dancefloor is fun.

“We dined here in October while on a bike trip on the GAP. It's right beside the trail. We stayed at the Little Boston Inn across the street so this made for a super convenient combination. We liked the late hours, the staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the food, particularly the cabbage rolls. It's a comfortable old-school bar, which is great with me. My only suggestion, being a beer lover, is add some taps (all beer was cans/bottles) with a few local microbrews.“

Other crowds do frequent here - everyday gen x ers or cooler gen z’ers or anyone really. And all are welcome. The early judgement of that world has left, as everyone has gotten older and just matured

Food and I believe drinks here are solid and not much to say. They fit the bill. Coming here though is really about the larger experience and vibe
