“As a Penn State student I had never had shake smart before. I decided to try it the other day and absolutely loved it! The service was great and the employees were extremely friendly. The staff offered me great recommendations and were dedicated to finding me a shake I would love. I love apple juice so they suggested I order a Fruitopia. It was fantastic and I will definitely be going back for more!!!“

“My husband and I love good food, but Indian cuisine is not one that we are experienced in. Decided the lunch buffet was perfect not only for the cost, but the wide array of curry options to try. We absolutely loved them all. They had a mild to medium spiciness (enough to warm you up but not make you cry or sweat), the flavors were bold and well put together. I had a number of questions that were happily answered by staff. All in all, great experience and will definitely return again.“

“I would still recommend them. However, my sister and I ordered pizzas today. I LOVE truffle oil. I ordered a Kennett Square pizza and they forgot my truffle oil…..made my pizza less than appealing. It did not taste good without the truffle oil!!!! Hopefully if I return they will remember the BEST part of my pizza……truffle oil!!!!!“

“Stopped in with my sister on, July 31, 2025. Don't judge the food by the outside. I introduced her to ROTI CANAI as an appetizer. Try it once and you will always go back for more. (hand-made, thin pancakes you dip in their meaty sauce, yummy)\nShe ordered their DUCK, and I got their MALAYSIAN CURRY. Everything was so delicious. Oh, don't forget to get their Malaysian Iced Tea (sweet). Dining room is comfortable with tables and booths, not crowded when we were there. Great place to meet up with friends or family and enjoy a delicious meal. Don't be afraid to try something different, you'll be pleasantly surprised.“

“I love Green Bowl! I always get the buffet and make small bowls so I can mix and match and try new combinations. I always go hungry and I certainly get my money's worth. I've taken friends, coworkers and family and I've never had a bad experience. You can also watch your food sizzle on the giant wok if that is something you'd like to do. While I don't have any allergies, they are always pro-active in asking and separating out the meals who do have allergies or dietary restrictions.“

“We were able to get reservations for a Party of 12 on a Friday night and a table for a Party of 14vonna Saturday night in late July 2025. We were all spending the weekend in State College reuniting for our own little Penn State Alumni Reunion of Friends. The Taphouse staff were very professional, helpful, and accommodating. The food and beverages were very good and the wait staff were excellent. I highly recommend this business.“

“Very quaint atmosphere. Absolutely loved the menu. They even had cute packaging for the kids juice and water. Highly recommend this restaurant. For Asian and Thai options. We had Chicken fried rice, Red Curry beef & shrimp, along with Red curry Chicken. Including the Thai Iced coffee and tea.“

“I usually love Panera and always get the same thing but I was very disappointed today when I ordered my pick 2 & got my sandwich and a less than half full cup of chicken noodle soup � I got about 3 bites out of it before it was gone. Very disappointed“

“Delivery has really amped up during the pandemic from many restaurants. Panera (North Atherton - State College) is one of the only restaurants to consistently forget large (like entire meal with side) items on just about every order. Sure, we can get a refund through Grubhub, but by the time food arrives it is usually too late to reorder just one person's dinner so we have to constantly adapt to a missing meal that we initially paid a fairly high amount for. It is a busy town, but it only takes about 30 seconds to do a final item check before setting the bag out for delivery drivers to pick up. We have missed whole sandwiches, entire soups and their bread bowls, Mac and cheese kid's meals, $10+ 4-packs of cinnamon rolls, random assortments of missing sides and drinks, etc. We keep trying because we love Panera's food... but it is getting to the point where nothing takes away the sour taste left by poor quality/quantity checks.“
