“First time here (2/22/25) and it was great. I had beef Pho and my wife had shrimp and chicken fried rice. Both were fantastic. Her fried rice was one of the best I’ve had in a really long time. I’ll def be back for that. The pho broth was great. The only thing different here than other places I’ve had Pho was that they didn’t give me mint with the jalapeño and bean sprouts. The service was a little slow as they were pretty busy but the owner was very apologetic. Almost too much but it was greatly appreciated because normally you don’t get that type of treatment. Even though the food came out slow he was top notch with keeping my water filled which is my primary must when it comes to restaurant service. And although it was just him working the front of the house he was serving everybody so attentively. And I think his wife was the only person in the back of the house. They did a wonderful job. Also that gave s a small salad that was quite tasty. I don’t know what kind of dressing it was but it was pretty darn good. Oh and we had the veggie spring rolls and chicken kabobs, both also good.“

“I love this place. There are super accommodating. I have a shellfish allergy and they always are good at explaining to me. What is in the food and with the foods made with with no problem and everybody is really kind one of my favorite Vietnamese places. 😊“

Great environment for a fast and affordable spot. Even the Bahn mi bread is distinct and good texture. Boba could use some work - they’re very chewy and the tea itself feels artificially thick. Will return.“

The food was excellent: our waitress Hannah suggested the scallop appetizer (with bread to soak up the sauce afterwards!) and the tiger prawn entree, so we got those and the shrimp pancake cups. “My favorite Vietnamese restaurant currently because there are so many good options here. Bún bò is a must try. It smells really good and the broth is very well-seasoned. The taste is very different from the bbh at other places. Another must try is bún mắm. Although they only have cabbage and lettuce and not the typical veggie that comes with bún mắm, it is still very good. You get roasted pork, fish, shrimp, and squid. Mì vịt tiềm and hủ tiếu khô are also delicious. The meat in bún chả is tender and well seasoned, but the noodle is not that good, a bit overcooked. Also the bowl is really small so it is hard to eat. Although it is called phở cyclo, but phở here is meh. The wait time can sometimes be long and it's a pretty small place.“

“This is currently the only Vietnamese spot in the mall, located upstairs by the food court. It’s a canteen style setup—you order at the counter and help yourself to condiments at the self serve station, so don’t wait for a server. They’ll give you a number and you’ll pick up your food when it’s ready. I tried the Short Ribs Deluxe Pho and the Banh Mi, both were pretty good, and the short rib portion was huge, I even had to take some home.“

“Just finished a bowl of beef shoulder for and a side of extra noodles. It was so wonderful. The broth in the pho was really flavorful and aromatic. The noodles will cook perfectly as well as the meat. This is definitely a place you should stop off for.“

“They had a limited menu and were out of alot of items when we visited but then again it was around 1am so that could be the cause of it. Both of us got the Vietnamese chicken pho soup. “Decent Vietnamese food in Philly city center. I really like the taste of their congee, I think it is because of the ginger. However, I don't really like the dồi. Bún thịt nướng is okay and portion is huge. This bánh bèo is probably the best I have had, but homemade is still better. It took them forever to bring this out tho and no communication about how long this would take was mads.“

“We finally went to the new Pho Wayne yesterday. It was DELICIOUS. The flavor of the Pho. Muah! They had several weekly specials, including the Beef Pho, that were only $9.95! Amazing deal. We also got the Crab Rangoon that my daughter devoured. We want to go again today. I’ve been craving Pho Wayne since I woke up, but they don’t open until Noon. 😭. Feels almost impossible to have to wait for another three hours. I could eat this everyday and with the specials, I probably can. I saw the comments on the high prices for “non-special” items, but honestly feel it’s in line with what’s charged at similar places nearby. We ❤️ Pho Wayne. *I have not been incentivized for this review, but would happily take free or discounted Pho*. 😬

Update. I did go again today and the Pho was as delicious as it was yesterday. I was going to get the grilled beef Banh Mi to go but I made the BIG mistake of ordering the Shrimp Summer Roll. A TON of lettuce, a few smaller shrimp, and noodles. I should have taken Audrey’s review to heart. No cilantro or herbs. Flavorless. I am a bit annoyed I spent $9 on this. I could have gotten the sandwich for this. Thoroughly disappointed in this item. Had to change my rating from a 5 to a 4.

Yet, I will return.

Update. I did return. 3rd time in 4 days. Had a crazy day yesterday or I would have been there 4 days out of 4. Although I WISH and HOPE they’d improve their Shrimp Summer Rolls, the Pho is just the best I’ve had out here. I keep wanting to add on the Banh Mi but I’m so full after the Pho. I’m redoing my rating to a 5. For the price, especially the specials, it’s a no brainer. I think this restaurant has finally found its calling on the area and wish them the best on success. PS the Jasmine Green Tea is the best tea I’ve ever had. My daughter gets the Matcha Green Tea. The first day it came in a reusable cup which she loved. Today it came in a glass. She was hoping to start a collection she could use at home. Not a deal breaker, but a bummer for her today. 🤪

Update. Well, we’ve been back at least 8 times since my last review. I have the song “Just Can’t Get Enough” from Depeche Mode going through my head right now. Pho still AMAZIIING! I wanted to also add in that the Scallion pancakes are DELISH. Had them a week or so back (I actually was a little sick from too much wine the night before so couldn’t eat them there, but threw them in the air fryer the next day and they weee STILL great). OH the little mints they have up front are lovely. They do have them at the Hung Vuong market down the street from Pho Wayne (left hand side, UP the candy aisle towards the bottom) if interested. My daughter had to have them.

“Working on Saturday, just wanted to pick something easy up. Got the Teriyaki chicken bento and it was great! No complaints, loved the teriyaki flavor & would try it or another one again. The price reflected the amount of food I got so I’m satisfied.“
