“First time here (2/22/25) and it was great. I had beef Pho and my wife had shrimp and chicken fried rice. Both were fantastic. Her fried rice was one of the best I’ve had in a really long time. I’ll def be back for that. The pho broth was great. The only thing different here than other places I’ve had Pho was that they didn’t give me mint with the jalapeño and bean sprouts. The service was a little slow as they were pretty busy but the owner was very apologetic. Almost too much but it was greatly appreciated because normally you don’t get that type of treatment. Even though the food came out slow he was top notch with keeping my water filled which is my primary must when it comes to restaurant service. And although it was just him working the front of the house he was serving everybody so attentively. And I think his wife was the only person in the back of the house. They did a wonderful job. Also that gave s a small salad that was quite tasty. I don’t know what kind of dressing it was but it was pretty darn good. Oh and we had the veggie spring rolls and chicken kabobs, both also good.“

“I love this place. There are super accommodating. I have a shellfish allergy and they always are good at explaining to me. What is in the food and with the foods made with with no problem and everybody is really kind one of my favorite Vietnamese places. 😊“

“Literally one of my favorites in Philly, Bistro Southeast never disappoints! I have eaten here too many times to not have written a review yet. The food is always flavorful, fresh, and hot. What I like most is that it is always consistent and the portions are sizable. The crab fried rice is my favorite item on their menu but everything I’ve tried has been amazing. The wings are crispy and well seasoned, the salads are refreshing and feeling, the mango sticky rice is the perfect balance of sweet and savory…I’ve tried other dishes as well, just too many to list haha! In addition to the food, the service is great. The staff is always so friendly, they play apart in how frequently I eat there as well. I don’t have any pictures of my food because when I remember to take them my food is already half gone.“

“It’s a cute cafe. Banh Mi is good . Love how they use seeded bread. I like the blended espresso and my daughter likes the cookies & cream.😋 The catering food was delicious . “My favorite Vietnamese restaurant currently because there are so many good options here. Bún bò is a must try. It smells really good and the broth is very well-seasoned. The taste is very different from the bbh at other places. Another must try is bún mắm. Although they only have cabbage and lettuce and not the typical veggie that comes with bún mắm, it is still very good. You get roasted pork, fish, shrimp, and squid. Mì vịt tiềm and hủ tiếu khô are also delicious. The meat in bún chả is tender and well seasoned, but the noodle is not that good, a bit overcooked. Also the bowl is really small so it is hard to eat. Although it is called phở cyclo, but phở here is meh. The wait time can sometimes be long and it's a pretty small place.“

The food was excellent: our waitress Hannah suggested the scallop appetizer (with bread to soak up the sauce afterwards!) and the tiger prawn entree, so we got those and the shrimp pancake cups. “This is currently the only Vietnamese spot in the mall, located upstairs by the food court. It’s a canteen style setup—you order at the counter and help yourself to condiments at the self serve station, so don’t wait for a server. They’ll give you a number and you’ll pick up your food when it’s ready. I tried the Short Ribs Deluxe Pho and the Banh Mi, both were pretty good, and the short rib portion was huge, I even had to take some home.“

“We had Mi ‘N Tea cater our Labor Day party and the food was so good! It was a blast to have a variety of boba teas to choose from and the bahn mis were incredible. There wasn’t anything left over at the end of the party because everyone kept asking to take some home for later! They were also great about accommodating for our friends’ various food restrictions. We will definitely be using them for catering again.“

“This is a great Vietnamese restaurant in Philly. I would recommend chicken knuckles to try. They have a large menu and most of it good. The drinks selection is also big to try from along with non alcoholic drinks. This is one place I saw sugarcane juice in Philly.“

“First time visitor. They were out of shrimp for the dishes which was fine maybe a one off it happens but we compensated and made due without. Shrimp and chive dumplings seemed decently good taste wise. Beef and broccoli dish IMO very good quality and price point compared to many other casino Asian restaurants I’ve tried in Atlantic City-Las Vegas. Singapore Mai Fun dish not bad a little salty some extra mixing of the yellow curry would have helped but chicken in replace of shrimp was good. I felt the cost of food vs quality was pretty well for a casino restaurant. Service was friendly and I did enjoy the Asian table games pit right next to it and the occasional guy yelling after a good win. The action adds to the atmosphere and reminds you this is a casino! I would return and try more dishes.“

“Decent Vietnamese food in Philly city center. I really like the taste of their congee, I think it is because of the ginger. However, I don't really like the dồi. Bún thịt nướng is okay and portion is huge. This bánh bèo is probably the best I have had, but homemade is still better. It took them forever to bring this out tho and no communication about how long this would take was mads.“
