“Went here because my daughter had been seeing a bunch of ads for it on social media and I had never heard of it so we figured let's go try.

In terms of ordering experience it's pretty straight forward as you place your order on one of two computers they have and then step aside and wait for your name to be called.

In regards to the space itself it was bright and pleasing to look at and clean.

Let's talk about the cookies, now taste is of course subjective but I found the cookies to taste good, not the best I have ever had but pretty good.

Now the following is going to again be subjective but to me the cookies are too under done, my kids liked that raw cookie dough feeling and texture but I would have liked them to have been a bit more firm. I had thought it was because they were fresh that they were so soft but even after a few hours at home to cool the cookies where still very much undercooked and infact my one definitely had some raw dough in the middle. My wife and kids through loved this fact so again this might be amazing if you like a cookie like that or it might be a turn off if you like a done and crumbly cookie.

Your paying for the hype and agressive marketing this company does, a dozen was nearly $50 dollars and they are not worth that to me, again subjective, but I have had better cookies at a local famous bakery in Oakmont for significantly less and with equal/better quality.

Honestly this place reminds me of when Krispy Cream came to town and the experience of getting a hot and fresh donut was new and exciting but after a while you came to realize that while it was a good donut it was not anything special and this place feels the same but with cookies.“

“Best bread anywhere in the Pittsburgh area…worth our 30 minute drive to buy!! And if you want to treat yourself to the BEST cinnamon roll - buy one and savor it!! Flavor is incredible and one roll can feed 2 people easily!! If they ever make the flat non-iced sugar sprinkled cinnamon rolls again- I will buy them all!! Those are absolute perfection in taste and texture..piece of Heaven!!“

“What a beautiful experience. You have to take a number and wait until they call you. Look around and figure out what you want so that it's easier on the employees. “I've been there a few times and the cake is always amazing. Lemon, carrot, Snickerdoodle - all great. Today, I tried the churro dulce de leche and it was 11/10.
Staff was nice, place has cute little things for sale as well.

Just as we remembered from a trip we took last summer to Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. I told my husband that from now on, we will never send people flowers. They have salads, sauces, sandwiches, pastries, pasta, coffee drinks, and things to take home and make as well like pasta + sauce. “I would not expect to enjoy gluten-free bread, however, a chance encounter with Wild Rise’s Sourdough bread was a surprising epiphany. Toasted, with peanut butter or almond butter, and a little honey, it’s an incredible lunch. And I’m used to eating gluten rich breads, and meats for lunch. I can truly say the flavors and textures are as satisfying to me as what I normally eat for lunch… I am amazed! Give this stuff a try!“

“Been in Oakland for a few years and Sidecar is my go-to cafe for myself and to meet up with friends. The food is phenomenal, their baked goods are perfection, and the drinks are delicious. Special shout out to the barista Em for making some of the best coffees I’ve ever had and always having great drink recommendations and such cheerful, professional customer service. The entire place is decorated so cutely with their signature mugs and wall art (please start selling the mugs!) and their iconic mirror wall. I recommend Sidecar whenever a friend mentions they want to get coffee, and I always recommend the Pittsburgh Smog tea and cinnamon rolls.“

“I am an old guy from Pittsburgh who is ashamed to say this is my first visit in 67 years?
Can’t say much but my destroyer was excellent except that I ordered through GrubHub without realizing it.
Every time I use GrubHub I feel that they suck. This time I decided to tell the world, or at least both of the people who have read my reviews.“
