You can see people from all walks of life on a daily basis that come here for that hit of vitamin, minerals and absolute refreshment. “I ordered my two smoothies online. One was a healthy one and one was a guilty pleasure. I was in town for some remote work at a nearby hotel and decided to have a healthy breakfast and an indulgence-lunch for later.
This is a cute little café on the corner of some street but as soon as you get in, you greeted with some hippie type of West Coast vibes, including the music that was being played. I loved it. It reminded me of the West Coast that I miss dearly. The smoothies weren’t bad. I would not say that they are on par with Tropical Smoothie Cafe as far as consistency. But, most of the ingredients that they use here is all natural so that’s the compromise you get, but I would choose them over Tropical Smoothie Cafe any day of the week due to the top quality ingredients.

“Somehow forgot to review this joint…so here it goes! Had the Greek toast and it was fabulous! It wasn’t a huge portion being that I’m a man but I hammered that toast like it was John Stamos!!! It was served on a wood cutting board which was cool but some of the toppings kept falling off and onto the table! I would have ate the pieces that fell on the table but I have a wood allergy!! My daughter got a bowl but I don’t remember which one! That was delicious too because I ended up eating most of that(she didn’t like it)!! I went home and did the treadmill…blood tests always say pre diabetic 🤷🏾. The coffee was delicious as well!! Have to give a huge shout out to the granola they have!!!!!! It was in my daughter’s bowl and it was the best granola ever!!!! We ate outside which was very nice and the one couple had their dog with them!!! I looked at that dog and said Hey Dog O, heheheee!!!! The whole Ellis Preserve is a great spot and Toastique is a must visit!!!!“

“I have been eating here every Sunday for several years. And then I shop. Everything tastes great, everything is organic, mostly wholegrain and it is 95% vegan and is an amazing bargain! Jammed Yam (sweet potato with quinoa, black beans, pineapple, mixed peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, avocado) has been my go to for a while now, but I do get other entrees from time to time. There is always a special and a soup and if you get there early you might be able to get one or two of their $.99 vegan wholegrain muffins. Yes, you can mix and match any ingredients or pay $.75 to get extra. I also get a kombucha refill in my growler.“

The space is dark, quiet and not particularly welcoming, but you can order food and you can tell they can cook. It is defintiely better than other spots in the city. “One of the best spots to get a fresh fruit drink on the mainline!!! I loved Mr. Wish in the city and was thrilled when they opened a spot on the main line. Many other bubble tea places use powders or syrups which I avoid. For about the same price as others you get a high quality drink with fresh fruit and can taste the difference. The owner is kind with an inspiring positive attitude, and you can see how much she cares about the quality of the food and drinks she serves. The grapefruit green tea with aloe is a favorite of mine.“

We ordered the 5 pcs chicken tender combo and the spicy chicken sandwich. Both were decent for what it was. They had a lot of special sauces for the chicken. Cool little drink place to hang out with friends and they even have free wifi if you need to get some work done.“
