Incredibly fresh fish, perfectly seasoned rice, and creative flavor combinations that showed off true artistry. The specialty rolls were out of this world, balanced, bold, and beautifully plated. You can taste the quality in every bite. 🔥 Hibachi: The hibachi chefs are not just cooks-they are entertainers! The showmanship is always lively and fun, but the food itself is the real star. “I was having a sushi craving… and thought we would give Sushi Ocean a try. And it was so good!! We did take out, but went in to pick it up, it looked quaint and clean. Our food wasn’t quite ready, so the gal asked if we were waiting in our car and she would bring out to the car. Definitely a win for me as well as my kids. Will be going back again. The fish was fresh, and they were reasonably priced. Got a lot for our money!!“

“Was skeptical about how this place had so many good reviews.
I am no longer skeptical. We have dined here three times now and every dish has been incredible. Lobster teriyaki was two huge tails. Miso soup was beautiful. They have brought us comped soup/salad and special fish fry nuggets.

“Their spicy tuna sandwich is sooo delicious! Love this place! I was celebrating my birthday on 11/22 with my aunt, who’s never been there before. She liked everything we had. So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. We ordered from the lunch specials- eel for me with particularly tasty miso soup- I could smell the smoky scent that tells me it will be flavorful & it was. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We’ll be back much sooner next time.“

“Been there 3 times to get takeout, so time to review. Short version: great food, nice staff, clean facility, and honestly a real bargain for what you get.
The food is always ready when I arrive. It's easy to get in and get out of The Fairway. The takeout bowls are hilariously overkill, you can use them to take your lunch to work they are so robust. No leaking in the takeout bag. The quality of the ingredients is very good. Never fishy, clean taste, good balance of textures in their dishes.
If you are reading this you are looking for a good place for sushi in the Abington/Jenkintown area. Down the shopping center is Whole Foods. Zushi's sushi is better, you get more, and it's better priced. Try it here instead, and support a local small business.
Pictured is a bento box from Sushi. It was very good, particularly the crab salad. Recommended.“

Pros: delicious food, always correct, fresh, made quickly, a place you can count on for consistency.
When Im close by I make sure to order take out sushi roll lunch. I like cooked sushi options so my order is 1 california, 1 shrimp tempura, and I select the salad. It is always tasty. I appreciate how they never forget the napkins /utensil /wasabi/soy sauce additions to the bag.“

“Today was my first time here! I was really surprised at around 2 pm no one was really there. This place is so GOOD and worth your money! I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Donburi with a side of fried rice and the Boston roll. Will definitely stop by again.“

“The high rating is totally deserved! Came in last night, sat at sushi bar, and proceeded to have a memorable meal. Spectacular sushi, fresh and delicious, led by the sushi chef with great service and a beautiful atmosphere. This place should be packed every evening!“

“The best softshell cranio I’ve ever had, even better than mine, and that’s just the beginning. Never had a bad meal here. And the crepe cakes are perfect to take home for a late dessert (or next morning’s breakfast) after some time to digest.“

“We have been ordering sushi here for years. Tonight, I decided to switch things up and try the hibachi. Did not disappoint!! Truly some of the best take out I have ever gotten. The tray was loaded with food, and you get soup or salad along with fried rice. I did chicken and steak hibachi. And will continue to order that.“

“This is takeout only inside of the Weis grocery store. The selection is abundant and the freshness is always great. They are prepared daily and the quality is good. They have sushi, rolls, salads, sashimi, wontons and a few Japanese desserts. Prices are not bad either. Keep in mind this is not a high end restaurant where they prepare it as you eat but I have never had a bad experience with their products. As you enter the cooler is to the right near the deli.
Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian selections but mainly fish products

“My family and I had an incredible dining experience tonight at Umai. We had a special, Kinmedai aka Golden Eye Snapper that was so fresh and tasty, out of this world good! We also had a treat with broiled tuna cheek that was also outstanding. Otoro was so velvety and rich, spicy hotate, sweet ebi, unagi, fried crabs, incredible sushi rolls, savory Akadashi (my son ordered a second it was so good) and everything else we ordered tonight was just incredible. Thanks so much to Rae and his wonderful staff for one of the best meals I've ever had - the best sushi in this area for sure and such friendly excellent service to accompany it! 🙂 Thanks for such wonderful hospitality and all the extra goodies Rae. It was wonderful to meet you and sample the fruits of your masterful culinary skills!“

“Stopped in on a whim after shopping at Trader Joe’s and thought sushi sounded good. We were pleasantly surprised after not knowing really anything about this restaurant. The restaurant was clean and had an awesome vibe to it - we were seated immediately and it was a Friday night! Server was quick & accommodating…she also gave us recommendations for most popular sushi rolls. Their menu in general is extensive, so much so that we ordered 3 more rolls than we needed because everything sounded so good. We also got one of their ramen bowls (also many options on their ramen menu!) which was TO DIE FOR. We talked about it for a solid week after! All of our food was so delicious, we feel like we found such a gem of a spot! We’ve already talked about how we’ll be making more Trader Joe’s tripped solely to come back to Kumo 🙌🏼 Highly recommend!!!! Wish I took photos to post but we ate everything so quick and our phones were the last thing we were focusing on after one bite. It’s also BYOB which is always nice!“

“i love coming here to pick up a quick lunch! i usually get lunch special which includes 3 set of rolls with miso soup. price is $15 which i think is a reasonable price and a great healthier option than like a burger. one thing i don’t like is the location! it’s located right on 611 and difficult to come in and out.“
