“Today I stopped at The Hungry A. I have driven buy there many times. As I walked in the owners and people in there all greeted me like they know me. I had a coffee and it was one of the best I ever had. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I will be be back. But what really got to me I walk with a cane and one of the girls there saw I was having a hard time she came around the counter and took what I was carrying and helped me to my car. Today there are not many people that are kind as she was. It made me know that there is still kind people in this world. If every would take the time to be kind to someone just once maybe it could be a start to make this world just a little better“

They have lunch, but it’s a small menu, but it’s all homemade dishes which is definitely a good thing. The interior is fun, having many different pictures and nic nacs of old timey trends and fads. Very good location as well, being right near the train station.“

Try my order. -turkey sausage patties egg and cheddar cheese on potato bread ,toasted. Add hash brown , add beef bacon. The sandwich like $9 but it’s the truth 🤣“

Had to get a Philly n fries which was pretty good. They serve breakfast as well. The servings are decent size and they make sure you get all your condiments.“

The food, simply amazing! I like grits, but often they're either too runny or too thick...finding those perfect goldilock grits is difficult... Train stops grits are just right! “Just did a Uber Eats from them and the food was excellent as well as the packaging. I used to go here more regularly but since I've adhered to my culture/religion more, I avoided places that served pork. Today under certain circumstances I ordered from them but I really wished they at least had some halal breakfast meats. Considering the demographic changes in the neighborhood, a no pork policy would definitely benefit their business. The local mosque would also promote it to their 5k+ local adherents. Just a thought.“
